Maya was an influential fan in the Harry Potter fandom who was active circa 2001-2008. She is the author of at least two dozen fanfics, most of which center on the characters of Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy (but not exclusively as a romantic pairing). All of her fanfiction was taken off the Internet on November 6, 2008.
Underwater Light was her seminal work, posted over the course of three years at the height of Harry Potter fandom activity and concurrently with parts of Cassandra Claire's epic, The Draco Trilogy. Along with Cassie Claire's LeatherPants!Draco, Maya's interpretation of Draco in Underwater Light and her other early works has had a huge influence on his characterization in HP fanfic at large.

Excellent pairing of one novella and one novel. Draco and Harry are aurors who have driven away all of their work partners. What happens when Shacklebolt, in a fit of desperation, pairs them together?
Humor, adventure, snark, and romance ensue. Oh, and Harry's part Veela. Believe me, you have NO IDEA how good fanfiction can be if you've not read Maya/Mistful.

Fic này tạo ra một Draco sống động, lộng lẫy và người. Nó giống như tính cách của Draco lúc ở trường nhưng trưởng thành hơn, nhân hậu hơn. Cách tác giả dùng thoại để miêu tả tính cách của Draco rất ấn tượng.
Mình có hàng trăm cảm xúc về Draco này, nhưng chẳng biết sao lại không diễn tả được. Cùng với Draco trong Running on Air, mình thích 2 Draco này nhất trong tất cả các fic mình từng đọc. À, cả Draco ở trong Bite me, Hate Memes nữa. Nhưng fic đó Draco khá giống Draco của Maya.
