I was born in New Mexico back in the fifties (she said vaguely), mingling with the aliens and the big bombs.
My family settled in the northwest, where those rainy days led me to read constantly. I grew up with Nancy Drew, Anya Seton, Gene Stratton Porter, Charlotte Bronte, Thomas Hardy, anything to take me Far from the Madding Crowd!
A light, fluffy and fun 'plane' read. Jana Lee, a widowed, not-so-happy homemaker and mother of 16 year old Carly agrees to swap lives with her identical twin Jillian, a burned-out executive for a week to give give Jillian some rest and recovery time. On top of not really knowing each other's worlds through in some complicating new romances and you have a fun combination of chaos and confusion. A very light read that does offer smiles.
A highly unbelieveable read about adult twin sisters who decide to save their sanities by switching places for a week. They manage to each fall in love with the "wrong" man, and then while one is caught in an earthquake, the other's abode is struck by lightning, thus ensuring the all come together for the big finale. Oh, and did I mention there was a stylish gay friend involved???
LOVED IT! I picked this up on a whim because it was on sale for $5. It didn't disappoint! Funny, sassy, and sexy. This is her best book I've read written by her. Recommended for fans of Meg Cabot, Carly Phillips and the like. 5/5 stars!
This is a nice, light romance. A twin-switching story, like parent-trap. Except the girls are adults. There really wasn't any question about who would end up with who at the end. But it was fun getting there. I would read more books by this author.
I took this on holiday with me as a wanted light fluffy reads that didn't require too much concentration and this fit the bill perfectly! Ok, so the story may be a bit far-fetched but it is very easy to read and perfect for reading in the sun!
