Two Complete Urban and Paranormal Series are included in this combination boxed set! The Voodoo LegacyBeing possessed has its advantages...
Sure, my soul-bound familiar could be a pain in the ass...
But she came with some pretty impressive abilities.
A nasty Voodoo demigod, a Loa of Destruction, wants to steal her power.
Ogoun, the Loa of War, has invited me to join the Voodoo Academy.
If I master the arts, he tells me, I might have a chance to thwart the demigod's scheme.
But can any of these "gods" be trusted?
They all have ulterior motives.
And I won't be a pawn in their war.
But if I don't stop him, if he steals these powers... he could destroy the world.
I'm an outsider. Not at all like the other students at the academy. I don't think they'll ever accept me.
But if I don't go, if I don't learn to control these abilities... it will mean the end of everything I hold dear.
Book 1: Voodoo Academy Book 2: Grim Tidings Book 3: Death Rites Book 4: Watery Graves Book 5: Voodoo Queen
The Legacy of a Vampire WitchBecause you can't stake a heartless vampire...It had been almost a century and a half since I last encountered anyone from the Order of the Morning Dawn. They were religious fundamentalists with the dual goal of eliminating vampires and witches.
Being both a vampire and a witch I was the embodiment of everything the Order hates. Their first attempt to eliminate me failed. Thanks to the fact that my mentor in the Craft was also a necromancer.
When they burned my heart they didn’t kill me.
They unwittingly completed a spell that tied my existence to the soul of one who took my place in hell.
Now I’m heartless, literally.
Not having a heart has some advantages.
It means I’m pretty resilient, especially when it comes to wooden stakes.
So long as the soul bound to my existence remained in hell, I was virtually invincible.
But the Order figured it out. They hope to redeem the soul who was damned in my stead.
If they do that, I’ll meet the true death for sure.
I have to capture the one damned in my place before the Order manages to liberate him from perdition. If they free him, I will die.
I have to go to bloody hell.

Theophilus Monroe is a fantasy author with a knack for real-life characters whose supernatural experiences speak to the pangs of ordinary life. After earning his Ph.D. in Theology, he decided that academic treatises that no one will read (beyond other academics) was a dull way to spend his life. So, he began using his background in religious studies to create new worlds and forms of magic-informed by religious myths, ancient and modern-that would intrigue readers, inspire imaginations, and speak to real-world problems in fantastical ways.
The first series, THE VOODOO QUEEN, starts an amazing adventure with Anabelle and Isabelle, from their early beginnings to Voodoo Queen. See, Anabelle is possessed by Isabelle, but that's actually not a bad thing, if anything, it gives Anabelle an edge. Isabelle can call up this really cool sword, Beli, who helps get Anabelle out of some hairy situations. In book 1 VOODOO LEGACY, we get insight into Anabelle's life, as well Ashley, her sister. An encounter with a Lao opens up a whole can of worms, memories surface, bringing everything to the fore. An invitation to the Voodoo Academy, yes, there's an academy catering to supernaturals, they discover not all is kosher. Thus embark on a mad dash to stop an evil taking over. And we get to meet Pauli, OMG is Pauli just the most Incredibly wonderful character! What comes out of his mouth had me snorting out loud! So, in book 2, GRIM TIDINGS, Anabelle is back home while the Academy is temporarily closed. Lots of clarity in this book, even finding out what really happened to Nico. Theo really does a superb job of presenting all the characters in such a fun, likeable manner and introduces them seamlessly, integrating them into an already superb read. Onto book 3, DEATH RITES, and the action step up a pace or two. I loved how the author keeps on on one's toes, pushing the limits of religion, folklore and superstition, adding various supernaturals to the mix just works. I so enjoy the humour, when I least expect it, it catches me off guard every time. I should know by now... with Kaifu's failed attempt on the Academy, the Voodoo Trials are evoked to choose a new Mambo, but these trials are not what they seem to be and Anabelle has the unenviable task of whether to participate or not. Another fabulously tense read. I loved the united front Anabelle and Isabelle have, they truely are badassed together! In WATERY GRAVE, book 4, Anabelle/Isabelle team up with Pauli on a relic hunt in the deep blue sea. But it's fraught with danger as there are creatures under the influence of Kaifu and needless to say, there are tons of laughs, well with Pauli in the picture, that's a given! Dramatic and fast paced, a thrill a minute, filled with betrayal and some unexpected allies. Quite the ending though, beautiful reunion and a cliffhanger, dragging me to read the next book! And finally in book 5, VOODOO QUEEN, it all comes together magnificently, with the emergence of a new Voodoo Queen. I know I've mentioned the humour, I know I've mentioned the pacing, I know I've mentioned the incredible richness of the storyline and characters but to be able to appreciate this series, or any of the very talented author's books, you honestly need to read it!
The second fabulous series is THE VAMPIRE WITCH, starting with BLOODY HELL book 1 in another highly entertaining read! Theo's writing style is definitely unique! The intricacies of the story kept me spellbound (excuse the pun) and the twists and turns kept me guessing throughout. This series is fast paced and follows the story of Mercy to develop into a superb series. She's a Vampire and a witch! What an awesome combination! Theo has the ability to surprise me, I love the unpredictability of his work. In book 2, BLOODY MAD, we get to see a whole different side of Mercy, how she struggles to acknowledge her humanity. Her love of Ramon, yes even a Vampire with no heart can love, is one of the 1st signs that she's slowly acknowledging she can and does feel real emotion. She forms an unlikely friendship in a very bizarre institution and goes out of her way to help her friend. Her relationship with her brother takes a new turn and together, they are poised to rid the world of unsavory characters, who are hellbent on taking over. Book 3 can't come soon enough to see how Mercy and company accomplished this! Which leads us to book 3,BLOODY WICKED and once again, this book had me guessing! Just when I was sure what would happen, it completely did an about turn! Theo's speciality is to keep the reader avidly turning the pages, always unpredictable. Mercy and her brother finally reach an understanding, then the unexpected happens, (for that titbit as well as all the other intriguing details, you have to read the book!)I actually didn't see so many things coming, which is really refreshing when reading a book. This series is just getting better and better. I mean, 2 vampires and a priest teaming up to find an ancient relic, as well as trying to keep the Order, who are determined to eliminate Mercy, to prevent a prophesy from being fulfilled makes for great reading. The way Theo draws you into the story, you go from feeling sorry for Mercy, to applauding her resilience and determination. In book 4, BLOODY DEVILS, Mercy, a very unlikely heroine and a vampire, struggles with betrayals, yet she feels compelled to help humanity survive the demons that are invading humans and vampires alike. With her sister, Julie and Hailey, who Mercy sees as her little sister, they strive to bring balance to the world and eradicate the demon legion, threatening to take over. As,usual, Theo mixes it up with a twist to keep one guessing and enthralled and I was definitely not expecting it! This book is funny and strangely endearing. I mean, how can one feel so much compassion for a blood sucking vampire who is heartless, literally! Yet as the story unfolds, and Mercy evolves, her ability to love and protect are more and more evident. Mercy works together with her known enemies for the greater good and the 3 badasses sister become something more....unpredictable, interesting, intriguing and all together, a terrific series. Highly recommended.
And finally book 5, BLOODY GODS book, where Mercy is fast becoming my favourite vampire. For someone who professes to be heartless(although she literally is, having had her heart cut out when she was a teen) she is more caring than most humans. Yet again, she and her sisters, the so called Weird Sisters, are faced with the Legion. Mercy's problems are about to get a whole lot worse! Mercy and company are forced to run from the Legion and end up back in Exeter, where it all began. Mercy discovers she has a relative still in Exeter, who joins the crew on their quest to save the world, both human and vampire. Moll, the witch who tricked her as a teen, is back with a vengeance, still planning on conquering the world with vampires loyal only to her. Moll uses necromancy to bring back Nico and Ramon, to lead a hunt for Mercy and the sisters. The entire world is at risk and Mercy steps in and finds a way to vanquish Moll and set both Nico and Ramon free. In the process, Mercy gets her heart back, literally and is compelled to restart and lead the Vampire Council, together with her sisters, to protect humanity and hold vamps accountable. Will be interesting to see how Mercy will implement it. There appears to be a new love interest brewing for Mercy but you'll have to read the books to find out what happens. Unpredictable, interesting, intriguing and all together, a terrific series, with world building to rival any.
The Voodoo Legacy Voodoo Academy - Annabelle, just a normal modern-day white girl, and Isabelle, a 12-year-old slave from two centuries ago, have their souls fused together. On the way home from a graduation celebration, Annabell, with her older sister, Ashley, in the car, hits Mikah when he steps out in front of the car. Then Annabelle is offered a spot at the Voodoo Academy. Grim Tidings - Annabelle becomes entangled in Mercy Brown's plot to seize power by stealing the abilities of both Baron Samedi and Nico. Death Rites - I laughed a lot at the interactions between Annabelle and Pauli. Five students, each from a different aspect of the Academy, are chosen to participate in three trials to honor the late Nico. Annabelle is chosen by Marie Laveau and, using Marie's book "Death Rites", she, Mikah, and Pauli figure out how to pass the first trial. Watery Graves - After facing numerous challenges and undergoing a sweat lodge ritual with friends, Annabelle's and Isabelle's combined abilities make them a powerful duo capable of healing souls and bodies. Voodoo Queen - The original Voodoo Queen, Marie Laveau, is now deceased. Annabelle has lost Isabelle to Hailey, but ultimately, with the defeat of Kalfu, Isabelle and Mikah are able to connect on a spiritual level and will serve as the guardians of the crossroads. Additionally, Oggie has returned! This story is pretty much non-stop action, and with Annabelle the newly ordinated Voodoo Queen, it's time for Mercy to show her true worth. The Legacy of a Vampire Witch Bloody Hell - Would you make a deal with the god of death so you could live? That is exactly what Mercy Brown did. She was turned into a vampire by a centuries-old vampire to save herself a horrible death by consumption. With training from her sire, she learns to control her hunger and so becomes a vampire with a semblance of a conscience. Bloody Mad - Mercy is trying to ignore her bloodthirsty brother. When she is distracted, he takes over her body and proceeds to go on a rampage. Mercy feels a pinprick in her back and blacks out. When she comes to, she is lying on a bed wrapped in a straitjacket. Turns out, Annabelle has put her in an asylum for the magically and mentally deranged. And the fun begins. Bloody Wicked - I loved this book. It has drama, action, witches, vampires, werewolves, Rougarou's, ghosts, witchy vampires, archangels, demons, and plenty of weirdness for anyone the Paranormal! I found myself rooting Mercy on even though she didn't mind drinking the blood of humans. Mercy was turned into a vampire by Nico. This act was orchestrated by an ancient witch who read a prophecy in a grimoire and thinks Mercy is the one it speaks of. Oh, and Cain is the original werewolf. Bloody Devils - Mercy Brown is at it again in Bloody Devils only now she has her half-sister Julie added to the mix. The trio of women call themselves the Weird Sisters and get a good laugh out of it. Mercy is suckered into helping Cain try to get the location of demons out of Asmodean who, in turn, is trying to get control of the infernal power that's in Mercy. Asmodean sends Mercy after Legion which turns out to be a trap. This book is a non-stop page-turner with shenanigans from cover to cover including some run-ins with The Order. Bloody Gods - I have no idea what is next for Mercy Brown but I'm sure it will be just as delectable as Bloody Gods! The Weird Sisters along with Sarah, a relative Mercy did not know about, and another vampire named Fred, finally send Mol and Lucifer back to Hell. The four women will be the new Vampire Council members. I very highly recommend this box set!

I had started reading Mr. Monroe's books with the Vilokan Asylum series. I was already familiar with his Annabelle and Mercy characters. I was thrilled when this boxset came about. Now I could read their backstories and find out how they became the characters I know and already love. Needless to say, I was not disappointed in the least! Plus, you get 10 books in one shot! TEN!
The first group of 5 books are Annabelle and Isabelle's story. Isabelle is the entity residing inside Annabelle and she can bring about Beli. The girl's are truly kicka$$ in their own right but Beli is purely awesome! Anywoo, the journey takes us from Annabelle and her sister........starting out doing paranormal investigations on their own to Annabelle getting an invitation to the Voodoo Academy inside Vilokan. An extremely cool underground city under NOLA. To Annabelle becoming the actual Voodoo Queen.
The second group of 5 books are Mercy's story. She goes through literal and figurative hell. Her journey starts with her just being a straight witch but by circumstances also becomes a vampire. A highly unique vampire and not due to her being a witch. She is missing a particular body part that makes her pretty much impossible to kill. She goes through several crushing betrayals and hard core blood lust due to infected blood. That lands her inside the Vilokan Asylum. There she meets Nyx (she has a fantastic boxset as well) and her therapist is none other than Cain himself. Yes, THAT Cain (another amazing boxset). Once the blood lust subsides and Dr. Cain releases her, she decides to stay in NOLA. There are normal enemies in the paranormal world but there's also The Order of the Morning Sun.
Mercy had to endure so very much on her life but if she hadn't, we might not have the Mercy we know and love at the end. One hundred percent snark, kick a$$ery and sassiness. I wouldn't change a thing about her.
As with all Mr. Monroe's books, there is plenty of horribleness, hilarity, pop culture references, action, drama and tid bits of romance. These contain kicka$$ heronines, magic, voodoo, zombies, demons, a dragon, vamps, the very first murder and so much more.
If you're new, or even not, to Mr. Theophilus Monroe, this boxset is a must grab!! I just can't say enough wonderful things about this set, I just loved it so much. Go now and one click.

"The Voodoo Queen and the Vampire Witch: Two Complete Paranormal Fantasy Series" by Theophilus Monroe is a compelling, spell-binding compendium of two distinct yet captivating paranormal series. Featuring "The Voodoo Legacy" and "The Legacy of a Vampire Witch," this collection offers a rollercoaster ride of dark magic, supernatural creatures, and enthralling plots.
In "The Voodoo Legacy," possession takes on a chilling new meaning as Monroe expertly spins a tale with a potent mix of voodoo magic, supernatural entities, and character growth. The series showcases the complexities and the daunting powers of possession, offering readers a unique twist on the theme.
"The Legacy of a Vampire Witch" delves into the haunting world of vampires, but these are not your typical bloodsuckers. Monroe breathes life into heartless creatures, adding layers of complexity and presenting a refreshing spin on vampire lore. The protagonists' battle against these heartless vampires forms the crux of this action-packed series.
Monroe's storytelling ability shines throughout both series. His knack for creating multidimensional characters, combined with his expertise in building intricate paranormal worlds, leaves readers engrossed and eager for more. His deft exploration of themes such as power, morality, and the consequences of one's actions adds depth to the thrilling narrative.
In essence, "The Voodoo Queen and the Vampire Witch: Two Complete Paranormal Fantasy Series" is an enthralling collection for anyone looking for a healthy dose of dark magic, thrilling supernatural entities, and compelling plots. Monroe's mastery in weaving the mystical with the macabre makes this a must-read for fans of paranormal fantasy.
Theophilus Monroe’s The Voodoo Queen and the Vampire Witch is an amazing set of books that focus on the origin and their rise to power of Louisiana’s Voodoo Queen, Annabelle and the Vampire Witch, Mercy Brown. Annabelle shares her body with a spirit named Isabelle who not only enhances her power but is able to call into being Beli, who in our world is a dagger that can open portals between worlds or dispatch the undead straight to Vampire Hell without the need for a stake. In the Druid’s version of heaven, Beli becomes a real-life dragon capable of hopping to different realms. All three as a fighting force form a formidable bastion of power against all forms of evil in our world. Mercy Brown as a protagonist has one of the hardest roads to travel before finding her true self which is a vampire witch with a heart of gold (if you look deep enough). She starts off as a novice witch who is betrayed by her mentor into becoming a vampire, who is in turn has her heart ripped from her body by her father to be used as a tonic to save her brother. She eventually ends up in an asylum for the supernaturally insane where she meets with the psychiatrist Cain (the son of Adam and Eve) who does formative work to keep her balanced on the side of good. The list of trials and tribulation continues until she becomes a force to recon with. She is driven to do a lot of bad stuff over the years, but she never truly becomes evil despite not having a heart for decades. In the end, she allies with Annabelle to become the premier Guardians of our realm against all forms of evil.
I recommend this book to all readers who support the rise to strength and power of the ordinary people who are just peons in our society.
voodoo queen book 1: I like the beginning of this series book 2: I'm curious to see what happens next. book 3: This one didn't disappoint. Alternative motive behind the trials, can things be stopped before it's to late. book 4: in this fourth installment of this series we find Annabelle and friends on a quest to find a way to stop Kalfu. book 5: The ending to this one I felt it was left hanging; Even with a possible spin off. It just needed more. the vampire with book 1: Mercy a witch turned vampire instead of dying when her own father from the Order of the Morning Dawn removes her heart but instead of sending her to hell, sends her brother. book 2: Mercy now a heartless not figuratively but literally vampire witch is in an asylum while the Order of the Morning Dawn is still trying to kill her. book 3: Demons are trying to take over by possess vampires. Mercy finds herself trying to stop what is going on. book 4: Mercy is back trying to take down the demons. and teams up with one of the last people you would think of Asmodeus. book 5: I loved this series. Loved the dynamics with Mercy and everyone else. The sass and humor throughout the series was just amazing.
The Voodoo Queen: I really liked the unusual pick of supernatural here. I am not acquainted to the voodoo lore, and this book made me want to dive into it. I can't judge as i have no background in it, but it felf well-researched and made me completely fall into the book and story with a rich and detailed background. If you love heroines with a backbone and a sharp wit, you will love this book. To be honest, I'm pretty sure some of the reference were lost on me, as I am definitely not a pop-culture know-it-all, but it was really fun to follow the banter continuously present in the story. I would definitely recommend this story to anyone loving paranormal adventures dashed with romance
The Vampire Witch: An other strong female character here. With different vibe the The Voodoo Queen but still in New Orleans, you get to read about some other supernaturals, but still with lots of action, spunk and cleverness which seem to be Theophilus Monroe's style. I loved it, and I'll be ready for the next series of this author thrown my way!.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Annabelle is a voodoo queen who is possessed by a former slave with her own magical powers - and has to deal with ghosts, demons, druids, the Grim Reaper, and more. Mercy Brown, became a witch as a young girl but had tuberculosis (aka consumption) and was confined to a sanatorium pending death. Another witch captured her soul and when Mercy became a vampire, she could no longer be killed by "staking". That made her into a very formidable foe. Both girls were apparently very attractive, they both had quirky senses of humor, and both were going to live forever with lots of power. Right up my alley. LOL
Mr. Monroe has an astounding (to me) encyclopedic knowledge of the occult. I had never heard of half the monsters, etc., in his books. If you want stories with intricate weavings of motives, abilities, and hellish motivations; read these series and the Blood Witch Saga about Hailey Bradbury. She's another character I'd love to have known when I was young.
Voodoo Academy (Gates of Eden: The Voodoo Legacy #1).
Grim Tidings (Gates of Eden: The Voodoo Legacy #2).
Death Rites (Gates of Eden: The Voodoo Legacy #3). I look forward to the next book in this series.
Watery Graves: Gates of Eden: The Voodoo Legacy, Book 4.
Voodoo Queen: An Action Packed Urban Fantasy Series (Gates of Eden: The Voodoo Legacy Book 5).
Bloody Hell: A Dark Urban Fantasy Story (The Legacy of a Vampire Witch Book 1).
Bloody Mad (The Legacy of a Vampire Witch #2).
Bloody Wicked: The Legacy of a Vampire Witch, Book 3.
Bloody Devils: A Dark Urban Fantasy Story (The Legacy of a Vampire Witch Book 4).
Bloody Gods: A Dark Urban Fantasy Story (The Legacy of a Vampire Witch Book 5). Another well written & enjoyable read. I look forward to my next read from this author and still need to figure out the order to read since the books all seem interrelated. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
This collection was fantastic! I had previously read the Vampire Witch series, but only the first one of the Voodoo Legacy series, so it was great reading how Annabelle became who she was. It was also great seeing some of the other characters in their earlier appearances and how they have changed and grown throughout the different books. As always Pauli is a favourite of mine and I loved him in Annabelle's series. He definitely needs his own one soon!
As always Theophilus Monroe creates amazing worlds and characters and you will find it hard to put this collection down! These characters always make me laugh and cry and always need to know more about them!
If you haven't read either of these series, then this collection is a great way to get you started with them!
I received an ARC copy of this collection from the author but this review is my own, honest one.
Two page turning complete series in the one box set, great if you love to binge read. I was first pulled into the engrosing story of Annabelle and her soul-bound familiar Isabelle, who understandably are figuring out how to navigate sharing the same body, when they are so different. I loved the challenges, the intriguing story and the characters of this fantastic tale. Next I was onto Mercy's collection, which has some things that intertwined with Annabelle's (so make sure you read Annabelle's series first, so you don't spoil anything). Again I was pulled into Mercy's story, and couldn't help but like Mercy too. I loved both of these series, and look forward to reading more of them.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
It was great having Annabelle's story all together. All that was missing was the book explaining how she got Isabelle. I'm glad I already had read it. Learning how Pauli became a snake and how Nico got lost filled in a lot of blanks. It's a good thing that Mercy's books were all included. It was great learning her back story. I would have possibly quit after the first or second book since she was so unpleasant. I got back into her story in the last 2 books, though. Smirk alert - This authors loves the word "smirk" and all characters in his books smirk a lot!.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Received as an ARC, I am leaving my honest review. How do I explain how awesome this book set is. It has everything a reader wants. Building suspense, magic and spells. Vampires and witches. Of course the outstanding characters such as Annabelle and her sister, who's history is quite interesting, and others you will meet along the path to victory. Then there are the Loas, the Gods of aspects. All combined in a series of adventures and missions to save the world. The backstories included will also help you understand a more in depth character personality that are in other fantastic series about the world they live in, and under!
Theophilus Monroe builds a new world full of witches, vampires, voodoo gods, and dragons. I am already a fan of the Blood Witch series and this set fills in all the blanks. The Order of the Morning Dawn is pursuing its agenda of hate and extinction in a war against all paranormals. The action is intense and thrilling as a circle of futures and pasts join together. Prophecies are fulfilled and souls are fused. A new Queen is crowned and an old King is redeemed. I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.
I just absolutely loved these two series. Mercy Brown and Annabelle Mulledy are badass heroines. Mercy doesn't take crap from anyone and she isn't afraid of letting them know it. Annabelle is a strong and capable leader of the Voodoo Academy. Together and separately they have found themselves in situations that takes all their cunning and abilities to get out of and save those around them.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
He is an extremely prolific author, but still creates good structure, characters that you understand, and uses the worlds available to him well ('our' world plus something). This anthology actually covers two series: Voodoo Legacy and Legacy of a Vampire Witch (not common to get 2 for 1). Good intro to his work, if you are new to Theophilius Monroe. For those who have been reading (but not happened on these titles yet) - a great addition to his catalogue.
This was my first time reading anything by this author and I went in expecting very little. However, the characters were unique and funny. There was character growth that made sense instead of just because. The story and writing could be a little more adultier but honestly I kinda like the mix of young adult meets new adult style of writing happening here. Over all I was never bored and could not put these books down.
There is so much food for thought in Mr. Monroe's books!
Beside the interesting philosophy and the boundless imagination, the good writing and the fast-paced adventures of interesting characters got me irremediably hooked!
I also like that we find the series interwoven by characters who appear in more than their own story.
Great reading!.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
These series are absolutely best reads I have had in awhile. The characters are entertaining and bring the story alive. The stories have lots of drama and the main characters of each book have this kind of humor that is so entertaining that you wont forget them. They are so energetic and magnetic that you just want to read more about them. The stories are original and have a unique worldbuilding. I highly recommend this book series. I received this as an ARC and this is my honest opinion.
Wish This Came Sooner. A collection of 10 books from the Voodoo Legacy series and the Legacy of a Vampire Witch series. I recommend this to save money since one set leads into the next. But this came after I had already purchased most ebooks from both sets. Yeah. I love the book titles and the creativity of this new world that honestly is addicting.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Only Theophilus could come up with such stories and this fantasy world. Ok maybe it’s not fantasy as unbelievably fantastic. Mercy and Annabelle are two bada$$ heroes that really kick behinds and take names. Even heartless she’s more caring and selfless than others. Wonderful boxset and a great way to binge read ! YAY !.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
These follow Annabelle Mulledy and Mercy Brown. Annabelle explores the world of Voodoo in order to save the world. Mercy is a ruthless vampire. Their lives are forever entwined as they continue to face new dangers.
Both series are equally entertaining and filled with excitement. I found myself becoming more fond of Mercy along the way as I learned more about her. Very well written.
Two complete series of great stories! The author brings awesome characters and weaves a collection of great paranormal stories filled with tons of drama and action and kept me glued to the pages reading.

I loved being able to read the entire series at one time. It was funny to see two souls within one person and they were very tolerant of each other but total opposites. Each wanting a boyfriend but not with the other. I highly recommend this series.

Two series are combined into one set that kept me reading and glued to the end to see in craziness that is on these twp poor girl's lives. One is a Voodoo Queen and the other a Vampire Witch but the situations they end up in make for great reading. Watching it all unfold was a blast as I laughed and groaned and was entertained to the end. Good stories and fun characters.
This was just incredibly well written I thought that i would just read one or two books and then read something else for a break but this was so entertaining that I did not want to put it down at all. There are two main story lines in this one and it kept it so fresh for me. I am so i love with this style of writing.
Theophilus Monroe has once again risen to new heights with this sizzling twin omnibus of The Gates of Eden and Shattered Glass series’. Monroe is a shining star of talent with excellent character development and world building skills.

The Voodoo Queen and the Vampire Witch: Two series boxset by Theophilus Monroe has a total of 10 books. In the first 5 books, the Voodoo Queen, it tells Annabelle's story in how she became what she is and The Vampire Witch, also 5 books, does the same for Mercy. If you enjoy Paranormal fantasy you can't go wrong with Theo's books.
