I may be a little biased to this book as I grew up in the town this story is set in. The small town of Kenmore, Ontario. I even know which house the author lived in, and played in the same river and woods she did. I was SO excited as a child when I found this in my elementary school's library. I even told the librarian I lost it and paid them for it so I could keep the copy LOL. Still have it to this day on my bookshelf.
