Lauren Chattman gets it with this book on summer cooking! Far too many cookbooks and chefs suggest summer recipes which require you to turn on the oven when the air conditioning is straining to maintain comfortable indoor temperatures and the outdoor temperatures are in the 90s. My idea of summer cooking is light fair based on wonderful summer produce and using only the outdoor grill. While many of the recipes are very casual and perhaps more suitable for lunch, you will find plenty of ideas in this book.
Interesting cook book with some ideas I might like to try. I didn't even recognize some of the ingredients proposed in some of the recipes. That's wasn't Google is for of course.
