There were a few things in this book that were very interesting... But most of it was kind of insane. Not well-written, it was tough to slog through, some chapters more so than others. A lot of the "evidence" submitted, "proving" Elvis is still alive, was impossible to take seriously. One piece of proof was that a movie company called Orion (which is a previous book by the author with no connection whatsoever to Elvis) put out the movie Prancer, which is about Christmas (which Elvis loved) and was filmed in Michigan (which is a state where several sightings have been reported). So that proves Elvis is still alive. Sigh. If only it were so.

This book aside, I don't think Elvis died in August of 1977. I don't think he's still alive and I don't think he was doing his own grocery shopping in Kalamazoo in the 1980's, but I think for a while he was out there finally living the life he always wanted but could never have. Hopefully that's true.
