Repeated storylines
Similar to book 2, the romantic angst is so manufactured it’s unbelievable. This is the same Gilda that “betrayed her only friend to her mates, is having the same nonsensical reaction as all the heroines since book 2, even tho they all knew better. Well, to be fair, book 3 angst was a little different, but not much.
These women are super traumatized, and only the first story actually gave angst that was believable. There are many ways to portray their abandonment issues and fear without giving it the same storylines: “i’m not worthy” changed to “protect my mates from dying by being with me.” Especially since those after book 1 know the previous chosen ones’ stories.
I gave up on this about 80% thru then picked it up just to finish it. It would be interesting to have a heroine and story as developed as the first book. If it’s not possible, maybe drop the angst and deliver more story, which is interesting, tho underdeveloped bc of the manufactured and redundant tension.

Great series!
The series gets more captivating as you go. The magic of the story draws you in and hols you captive. The next book can not get here fast enough!! The spicey bonding scenes are just the icing and sprinkles on the cupcake.

Creo que es mi libro favorito de la saga. Gilda me enamoró de principio a fin, y su personalidad no cambia tanto cuando recupera sus recuerdos, sino que se acopla a la nueva ella. Y eso me gustó bastante.
Aunque no me gustó el ciclo repetitivo de "soy humana, no tengo pareja", bastante cansado (sobre todo porque Gilda ya vio el caso de los lobos)
El final contra uno de los seis me pareció acelerado, pero eso es un fallo que tienen todos los libros.
