Fantastic Rock Romance
You have to read this book if you love your rock romances with a sexy rockstar who thinks he is never going to settle down with one woman. Kellan was the guitarist for Onyx Knight and met a woman who was about to rock his world. Jesse is best friends with Devyn, who happens to be the new bass player for the band, and that is how Kellan and Jesse first meet.
Their relationship was put to the test right from the start but both are feeling that there is something there that can’t be denied. As their time is spent building on their relationship there is still the question of just who is going to give since Kellan and the band is based in California and Jesse has a high-power job in New York. Let’s add to that the fact that her new boss is crushing her goals and her self being.
This review isn’t doing justice to this book because I devoured it in no time it was just so good. I just couldn’t put it down. The chemistry, the suspense and the overall storyline was superb. I highly recommend not only this book but the rest of the books in the Rock Harder series. Well done Ms. Mizera and I can’t wait to see what you do net with Tommy’s story.

This one starts out on a bit of a sad note, but at least Jesse and Kellan talk things through and end up on a great note, friends who are sad for what they went through. Later when Jesse meets them on tour, they pick up from their one night and it's great, both seem to be on the "we're having fun page" and it works for them. They have that base of friendship to build on.
Later Kellen is a loose ends when the tour is over and goes to see Jesse. Things are good for a bit, but when it gets hard, they don't do the one thing they should, talk. This drove me nuts, because so much could have been avoided and they had a history of talking, but now with the stakes much higher they ignore that fact.
Things spin out of control, both know something needs to change and finally both are ready to face things, when they get bitch slapped by an evil person and so much drama ensues, none of it their fault, but they have to deal with the fall out. I thought things would have been fixed in the aftermath, but it was just a band aid covering things up. The each had to take a jump and I'm so glad that they did. It was great seeing how things ended, how happy they were and very deserved.

The story picks off where it stopped in book 2.. Kellan and Jesse suffered a loss and it brought them together like they didn't expect. They stay in touch and soon they're spending all of their time together.
But being with a rock star is not for the lighthearted and Jesse is pressured by her job to reel them in and sign with her company. Her refusal starts events no one saw it coming and when the danger passes, she'll have to decide if love she has for Kellan is enough or is it better to separate and never look back?
I've got to say I was a huge Jesse fan throughout the book, but what she did at the end at the book where they suffered for no real reason, I developed a biff with her. The only saving grace is that she realized just how much he loved her and she went to him to give him what he wanted and that was HER.
This was a roller-coaster ride from start to finish. The plot was a bit of a surprise for me and I loved that the best.

I love Rock Star romance and Rock Steady was fantastic! It is a hot, sexy romance full of heartwarming, tear jerking moments, twists and turns, danger and romance. Kellan and Jesse make the perfect couple that have to go through a lot to be together. Boy was it worth the ride! I loved it! I love the Rock Harder series! I can’t wait for Rock On! It’s going to be so good!

Picking up where Rock God left us, Jesse and Kellen rang in the new year. Rock Steady fills in what happens next. We also stay caught up with Onyx Knight as we follow them on their European tour.
With Jesse stateside and Kellen touring, they do stay in touch. Kellen is not a relationship guy, but Jesse has left her mark on his heart. Jesse’s job is solid; in New York, even when he is in the States, the West Coast is his landing spot. But Kellen has never had anything permanent. There is a thread tying them together. Jesse is Devyn’s best friend.
This book moved fast, and I could not put it down. The drama, and suspense, and just what is going on with Jesse’s boss, kept me turning pages. I am enjoying the Rock Harder series and excited for the next book.

The Rockstar & the Accountant
It's time for another rockstar romance from Kat Mizera. ROCK STEADY, book #3 in the Rock Harder series, is another emotionally charged, suspenseful, and sizzling read which I thoroughly enjoyed. It does contain a few triggers for some readers, so please check the author's website for them.
Kellan Cross, the lead guitarist for Onyx Knight, shares one steamy Thanksgiving night with accountant Jesse Clarke. They are once again brought together on New Year's Eve, however this time it is under completely different circumstances, they have both suffered a loss which they weren't expecting. Over several months of texts and phone calls a connection develops between them, and when Jesse decides to join the band for their last concert in Prague that connection deepens. Once back in the US Kellan couldn't stay away from Jesse and decided to fly from LA to New York to spend time with her during the band's down time.
The chemistry between Kellan and Jesse is red hot, I mean these two cannot keep their hands of each other. Both were falling for the other, but it was their different lifestyles, and the pressure Jesse was facing at work that were causing cracks to form in their relationship. Jesse was a planner, she was also an overthinker, allowing the thoughts of a future with Kellan to overwhelm her. Kellan, too, is unsure of their future, he's spontaneous and doesn't like the idea of being tied to one place. Kellan and Jesse's relationship was like a rollercoaster, with ups and downs, twists and turns, which needed to be navigated carefully to find their happy place.
Kat Mizera has delivered a beautifully written emotional story. The steam may have sizzled, but it was the slowburn of their love and their surprise they had fallen for each other without realizing it that really captured my heart. Their relationship may not have been filled with unicorns and sunshine, but the twists Ms. Mizera threw in left me speechless. ROCK STEADY played a game of tug and war with my emotions, and I couldn't get enough.
Next up is ROCK ON, Tommy and Harley's story, and from what we've seen so far it's going to be another heart shatterer.

Oh WOW What a wonderful story and another Amazing Rockstar romance from Kat Mizera.
Kellan and Jesse live very different lives and are opposites in many ways...but seem to have a connection...that is unbreakable.
They have a one night stand and when Jesse ends up in the hospital Kellan is there for her,and it was an emotional time for them.But Jesse has her job in New York and Kellan is about to go on tour with the band Onyx Knight.They still keep in touch and a beautiful friendship forms between them..I LOved Jesse and Kellan they are the perfect match and support eachother throughout all the things they go through.
The chemistry between them is always there, despite the distance between them,so when at last Jesse has the opportunity to spend time with Kellan....the inevitable sparks begin to fly.
The steam is so hot and their attraction is as potent as it was before,but even more so now they have developed a friendship...These two are designed to be together,Kellan has really met his match with Jesse because she doesn't put up with his s*it.
Plus she is her own woman has her own life and income,she is strong and independent and I liked her sassiness.Kellan is the typical rockstar but I found him to be so caring when needed and Like I always do I feel in LOVE with him instantly.
This book had some unexpected suspense,twists too which was neccessary and had me all tense and worried..lol..but it was all good and it had to happen.
I really love Kat Mizera's writing style and she always has that abilty to hook you in and keep you so entertained you become addicted to the story and fall in love with the characters.
Its no secret that I ADORE Rockstar Romance they are my Kryptonite along with Hockey romance..and Kat writes some of my favourites.
This is an Excetional read and Rocker fans everywhere will Love it.

The moment this hit my kindle, I had to dive into it… and it’s by far my favorite of the series. “Rock Steady” is a steamy, emotional, and action packed rock star romance that I devoured in one sitting.
After spending time together last new years eve, the two had a connection but went their separate ways. Jesse has a life in NYC and Kellan is touring the world with Onyx Knight. But Jesse is Devyn and is going to join them for a week on tour. The connection the two had last year is still there and they have an unforgettable time together. But Jesse has a life and Kellan is always on the road. They agree to keep things casual and as they spend time together, more of a connection forms.
This story blew me away and I could not stop reading it. I loved how confident Jesse is with who she is and she’s genuine and smart. She’s a career woman and worked hard to build her career. Kellan is a classic swoony rockstar and I loved him from each book. He has a big heart and protects it. These two connected from the start and I loved how close they were from the beginning. They understood each other and based their relationship around that. Neither wanted to make the other choose, so they made it work. They fell for each other quietly and I loved the build up until they each realized it. The story did not skip on the steamy scenes and they were delicious. The plot twist that Kat Mizera threw in had my jaw dropping and I was so invested in it. The ending was emotional and so perfect for them. And I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

Kellan is the sexy rock god guitar player for Onyx Knight. Jesse is Devon's workaholic best friend. Kellan and Jesse have explosive chemistry. A one night stand leads to a miscarriage that has Kellan providing the emotional support Jesse needs. Kellan and Jesse have remained friends while he has been on tour with Onyx Knight and Jesse has been home in New York working. Jesse and Kellan spend time together in Prague with Kingston and Devon at the end of Onxy Knight's tour. Jesse and Kellan burn up the sheets together while having a great time together exploring the city before a major snow storm hits. When the week is up, they head their separate ways agreeing to keep things casual and see where things go. Will Kellan sign with Jesse's firm to take the pressure off of her at work? Will stress from work cause Jesse to push Kellan away? With help from Chains, will Kellan find Jesse when she is kidnapped? Will Jesse decide to give her relationship with Kellan a go or let Kellan go after she recuperates from her kidnapping? Will Jesse and Kellan realize they love each other and are miserable without the other? I loved Rock Steady by Kat Mizera. I LOVE Kellan and Jesse! They have scorching hot chemistry and a connection that grows stronger as they spend time together. Rock Steady has chemistry, suspense, a creepy boss, and emotion overload. I would highly recommend getting Rock Steady and the other books in the Rock Harder series by Kat Mizera. I received an ARC copy of this book, and I am leaving my honest review.

Jesse and Kellan had a one night stand over Thanksgiving in the 2nd book in this series and then she had a miscarriage on New Years Eve before she even knew she was pregnant. This book picks up immediately after Kellan gets off stage and rushes to the hospital. They both grieve for a baby they lost before they knew it existed, and stay in touch while he’s on tour in Europe with Onyx Knight.
I could so relate to Jesse being a planner, but she goes a little overboard and overwhelms herself with overthinking a lot about their potential future. I’m sure that’s part of being an Accountant. Kellan is a free spirit who wants no part of being tied down. Navigating a relationship as total opposites had some definite highs and lows. I easily got caught up in their struggles and felt for each of them.
I was caught off guard by the unexpected suspense, but loved how it was a catalyst for some big changes even though it was frightening and worrisome for a few chapters.
I loved the ending and am eager for Tommy and Harley’s book. While I’m not a huge fan of rockstar romances, I love Kat Mizera’s writing enough to dive in and go along for the fun and excitement, and some sizzling steamy scenes.

Rock Harder #3
Jesse and Kellan had a wild Thanksgiving night and was looking forward to meeting up again on New Year's Eve. On her flight out to London she had issues and landed up in the hospital where he went to see her.
Kellan is a guitar player with the famous Onyx Knight band. He's not known for relationships or settling down but rather having girls everywhere he goes.
Jesse is a 28 yr old accountant who has a great job and knows what she wants and has a plan to get there. She also happens to be besties with Devyn who is the new bass player for Onyx Knight so that makes Kellan also part of her life.
Jesse and Kellan have been keeping in touch. So when she and Devyn plan for her to come see them out on tour she ends up seeing and spending time with Kellan. Their connection is still there and the sparks are flying but she has her life in NY and he's in LA when he's not touring.
This is an emotional roller coaster for both of them. Is either willing to give up or change for the other?

There are issues that could be a trigger for some.
Some twists you don't see coming. Also nice to see the bandmates are more like family and are there for each other.
Can't wait for Harley and Tommy's story.
Jesse and Kellan had a wild Thanksgiving night and was looking forward to meeting up again on New Year's Eve. On her flight out to London she had issues and landed up in the hospital where he went to see her.
Kellan is a guitar player with the famous Onyx Knight band. He's not known for relationships or settling down but rather having girls everywhere he goes.
Jesse is a 28 yr old accountant who has a great job and knows what she wants and has a plan to get there. She also happens to be besties with Devyn who is the new bass player for Onyx Knight so that makes Kellan also part of her life.
Jesse and Kellan have been keeping in touch. So when she and Devyn plan for her to come see them out on tour she ends up seeing and spending time with Kellan. Their connection is still there and the sparks are flying but she has her life in NY and he's in LA when he's not touring.
This is an emotional roller coaster for both of them. Is either willing to give up or change for the other?

Some twists you don't see coming. Also nice to see the bandmates are more like family and are there for each other.
Can't wait for Harley and Tommy's story.

This book is amazing. Following on from book 2, Kellan and Jesse get their story. When Jesse has her miscarriage and has to spend New Year in hospital, Kellan, feels that he has to stay with her. Not out of obligation, but something much deeper. As Kellan and Jesse go their separate ways, they text and become friends, knowing all the while that despite their connection, they lead very different lives. Jesse has her life and job in New York and Kellan is traveling with one of the biggest bands in the world, Onyx Knight. Right from the start, Jesse has said that she wants to eventually settle down, have kids, living the whole white picket fence life, but Kellan can't ever see that being his life. But as they spend a week stranded by a snowstorm, feelings begin to shift, a fact that people in Jesse's life, want to take advantage off.
This book was a rollercoaster of emotions, and was so wonderfully written you could feel Jesse's happiness, despair, and fear come through the words. There was just the right amount of heat in this story and the twist that you just don't anticipate rounds out this great book. Thoroughly recommend.

At the end of the first book in this series we start to get the beginning of Kellen and Jesse. We see them first as a easy going couple that was just a hook up. After a trip to the hospital that is life alternating for both of them they go their separate ways. While living completely different lives they continue to text and reach out to one another. There is this undeniable pull between the two of them that is constantly just under the edge of the story. Jesse makes it no secret that she wants to settle down and have a family with the white picket fence and all one day. Kellen is riding the high of touring with Onyx Knight having women throw themselves at him every night. When they are stranded together in a snowstorms emotions and feelings start to change. Unfortunately people in their lives especially Jesse's want to use it against them. It is a read that is full of highs and lows as the reader see these two come together as friends and a couple. As always throughout the story we get to see previous couples and learn more about up coming characters.

This is the latest story in the Rock Harder series and can be read and enjoyed as a standalone, which is what I did, but it's obvious that it starts right as the previous book finishes. As such, it opens on some fairly heavy emotional times that Jesse and Kellan are going through. I really liked the way that this wasn't an instalove story, there was time for the characters to become friends first, then more, all while telling themselves that they're not looking to the future. I really liked the reality in the charaters like that - everyone knows someone who's a planner, and everyone knows some who constantly lives just for the moment and it was interesting to read how these 2 very different kind of people can come together. I really liked so much of this book but there were a couple of things that disappointed me. Given today's climate in the wake of Me Too, I'm disappointed that more didn't happen as a result of events. I also would have liked to know what happened with Tod. However, this is a very easy to read story that flows well and makes for a very enjoyable read.

More emotional depth than you might expect from a rocker romance! Yes, there's partying and steamy sex, but there's also a lot of heart, angst and sentimentality as well that really amps up the heart factor of the plot. I really enjoyed seeing a few familiar faces from other Mizera series, and to really get a feel for Kellan and Jesse, I actually recommend reading this series in order to get the back story of them and the band.
Kellan has been one of my favorites since the beginning of the series, and that continues ... the only weakness is I would have enjoyed seeing him pour his heart out a little more about his past with Carter to keep him an integral part of the band in each book.
I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone that enjoys a rocker romance with an emotional depth that keeps you turning page after page to get to the heart of every book. I'm really looking forward to Mizera ripping my heart out with Tommy's story!

Ms. Mizera had written another fantastic rock star romance. Kellan and Jesse are about as opposite as you can get, but from the moment they met, they had an undeniable connection. Things started to change for them when their one night stand turned into the loss of their child. When he showed up at the hospital he started realizing that he wanted more in his life, he was just slow in figuring out what he wanted.
I enjoyed seeing them go from one night, to friends, to seeing where things could go. When he fell, he fell hard. She also fell hard, but she was cautious due to his career. I did get irritated a couple of times with Jesse and how she treated him.
This story had some laughs, some sad moments and it was nice seeing the rest of the band that we have gotten to know. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for Tommy and Hudson. I highly recommend this series. I received an ARC and this is my honest, voluntary review.

Loved this addition to the Rock Harder series. Kellen is the playboy of the band. Having a different woman or two or three every night is part of the rock and roll lifestyle he loves. He never had much of a family life growing up so the conventional home life is not for him. But there is just something about Jesse, their new bass player's bestie. After one very memorable one night stand (in more ways than the obvious) he just can’t seem to get her off his mind. But their lives are on two different paths. She’s hard working and has her life’s goals planned out, unlike Kellen who lives in the moment. But when things get complicated will being friends with benefits going to be enough for them? Or will they finally have to break apart and hope hearts are not broken?
Excellent read, I can’t recommend it enough. This is a must read book in a must read series in this reader's humble opinion. Grab it up asap, you won’t be sorry.

Another absolutely fabulous story by Kat Mizera! Book three in the Rock Harder Series picks up
Where book two left off. And once again we are caught up in the world of Rock and Roll and love with the hottest band around. Jesse is a CPA. She likes things orderly and planned only there’s nothing orderly or planned about Kellen’s Rock and Roll life. Will she lose herself if she joins his world? She can’t ask him to give up his. It’s who he is and who she has fallen in love with against her better judgment. Kellen knew that life in the suburbs with 2.5 children and a white picket fence was never going to be for him and yet he loves Jesse and knows that’s what she wants. How far can he compromise to keep her in his life? Can they even make it work? This was a fantastic story. Starting with loss and ending with love ever after. It can be read as a stand alone but so much better if you’ve read the other two stories. Loved it!!

I easily fell for both Kellen and Jesse as characters with their different personalities and life styles, but what is it they say about opposites attracting?
A one night stand with a surprise pregnancy was the start of their relationship, but friendship over time along with steamy passion flowing between them is what seals the deal. However, it is their different life styles that make a relationship challenging with Kellen, the hot rock star being a free spirit, easy going and focused on the band to Jesse being the complete opposite with her need to be organized and the stability that her accountant personality seems to thrive on. Add on to that they live in opposite side of the country. It is finding a way to compromise and merge their lives together that will give them the future they both deserve.

Kellen is the rhythm guitarist with the famous rock band, Onyx Knights, and he embraces the rock star live with all the women and traveling the world. Jesse is sassy, smart, and wants stability I her life, and she gives as good as she gets, and she is the best friend of the bassist in the band. The chemistry between these two is combustible and undeniable, and they endure so much to be together.
This is a well written story which is an emotional roller coaster, with opposites attract, friendships, challenges, romance, danger, twists, witty banter, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

This is the third book in the Rock Harder series and readers are gifted with Kellan and Jesse’s story and what a beautiful melody it is. There are long notes, short notes, some staccato moments and overarching sweeping overtures that make this one amazing read. Kellan and Jesse both have some growing to do and the way Ms. Mizera articulates these pains are so true to life that one cannot help but get swept away by the dynamic pull these two characters have towards each other. Their chemistry is off the charts and prove that love can sneak up on you when you least expect it, making you better for opening yourself up to having it in your life. I recommend this book and cannot wait until the next one.

Hold on tight for quite the ride
Could this series get any better? Yes, it can, and you will absolutely love Book 3 of the Rock Harder series. Rock Steady is a captivating and emotional read that will keep you hooked from the first page. We got a glimpse of Kellan and Jesse’s relationship in the last book, and she dives in again where things left off. While facing some deeply traumatic and personal issues, their chemistry is off the charts and sizzles off the page, their banter is witty and sweet and the reader navigates this journey with them, every step of the way. Their story creates a perfect and seamless balance between romance, humour, angst and even some drama. I loved this book and highly recommend this book and the series. I am now anxiously waiting for Book 4.

Rock Steady is an amazing read. I could not get enough of this one. I love every moment in this one with Jesse and Kellan. The chemistry is hot as Jesse and Kellan grow closer. Both not looking to fall yet there is no stopping the pull. Jesse is a workaholic that has everything planned out. Kellan is a rock star who doesn't have plans outside his next performance and doesn't do well with downtime. Together they are everything. I'm so in love with Kellan and Jesse. I could not get enough of this with that twist. I love the Rock Harder series so much. I cannot wait to see what happens in the next book. Kellan and Jesse are amazing and you need to meet them now.
