I thoroughly enjoyed this series. It showed that marriages can be mended and restored even on the brink of divorce. It was interesting to see the creative ways Paul used the five senses to please his wife.
Read them in order! Read them now! This series is so good I couldn’t get enough! Honestly I’m so sad that it’s over. I need more Paul and Laken in my life!
I am devastated that Laken and Paul's story is over. But this final installation gave me the closure I needed. The spice was to die for and in almost every chapter and the ending was so picture perfect.
This whole series was an amazing read! Heartfelt, seductive, and sad at times. It had it all! Such an amazing ending for this couple! 10/10 will read them all again.
“Scent” by Minx Noir is a book about repairing a broken marriage. When Paul is told his wife is filing for divorce, he is determined to make her fall in love with him again. Laken is lonely now her children are out of the house, and she just dreams of the life and love she once had. Paul’s plan to woe his wife is to use all five senses to reignite the sparks of their love.
The book has second chance tropes, marriage, erotica, etc. The book was good, just a little repetitive sometimes. I did like both Laken and Paul’s characters; they are both compassionate and adventurous people. I gave it a 3 out of 5 stars.
This book was a cute little ending to this series. Clearly Paul and Laken fixed their marriage, with both counseling and a ton of hot sex. But they also went back to their roots and became friends again, which I also agree is very important in a healthy marriage. I still think it’s a little nuts that Laken just went to see a divorce attorney without even trying to fix things with her husband herself or even giving him the chance to know she was lonely but it clearly worked out for her in the end with all of the shameless filthy sex is he gets to have with her rich and hot husband….the girl clearly made the right decision in the end

This book took it all the way home. Seeing them move forward into a better direction, and Paul listening to his wife just made me feel all of the emotions. It was sweet, it was hot, and it was filled with absolute pleasure.
They are quick reads, but it was one of the best reads. 🖤🖤
This was a fun, spicy novella style series. I really enjoyed the characters and how their connection changed over time. It was different than anything I’ve read because of the marital issues, but it felt so realistic. Definitely recommend this series!
This was the final novella in the five senses series & I had a good time with this. It was bittersweet knowing the story was coming to an end but I was soooo glad to be able to read the happy ending that I was hoping for. I loved the fact that the couple was able to figure out their shit & rekindle the fire within their marriage.
