Part of the Mafia Lords series each can be read as a standalone with an arranged marriage neither she nor he wants both going into the marriage to keep the peace with preconceived notions of the other and they say love and hate are the same coin so hang on and double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love (ALL THINGS TO EXPECT FROM THE MAFIA WORLD). By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! CAN’T SAY YOU WEREN’T WARNED!!!!!. Katharine the daughter of Don head of the Marino family has always know she is nothing more than a pawn in her father’s game although he tells her it is her duty for family, she is to marry a man with a reputation for violence their rival and not a good man so if he is expecting a humble, quite, meek wife well he has another thing coming. Angelo sexy as Don of the Vitale family with a reputation proceeding him knows he must marry so choosing to marry his rival’s daughter to keep the peace is his only options although marriage isn’t something he has ever wanted but he will make do with the meek, humble mafia princess. The thing is he didn’t get meek, humble, quite he got feisty, a women with the makings of a mafia queen and he is loving it but can he earn her trust considering they both arrived to this marriage as a transaction something that needed to be done for family, will she allow herself to feel something more for her husband than what she has read, heard about him, will he allow her to see him not his reputation, is her father about peace or something more, will they come together to work together, and can they find their own happiness somewhere along the way?

Katherine is the only daughter of Don Max Marino and classed as a mafia princess, classed in their world she holds no real value only as a pawn to be traded which is exactly what is happening. She has been promised to a man that can only be described as a monster by anyone who knows or has heard of Angelo the Don of the Vitale Family and a brute to be reckoned with if you believe all the gossip. It was her last night of freedom has been arranged by her best friend and she has every intention of making this a night to remember before fulfilling her duty to her family. It was a night where she could be anyone she wanted and when she met Cole a charismatic man that she connected with she knew how she was going to spend her last night of freedom. But is the man she is leaving with really the man she thinks and will her wedding go as she thought or are more than one of them going to be surprised?

Angelo is the Don of the Vitale Family has a reputation that has been well earned so when he is approached by Don Max Marino a well established enemy he knows that something is up, but can see that the arrangement would work in his favor and agrees to the arrangement much to the disgust of his alies, but he no follower of the rules but a man who fought to get where he is today. Thinking that this new alliance may cause him problems he decides to meet his bride before the marriage, he has no need for a docile wife, he arranges everything for an impromptu meeting and what he finds is a Kat with claws, a woman who he knows will challenge him everyday. Suddenly this match is looking up, but they have started out in their own web of lies, fake names and a night to remember. He knows he will feel her wrath when she discovers his deceit and he’s looking forward to the fight. But there seems to be one of his associates that is determined to remove her from his life, can he keep her safe when danger comes looking for her and are these feelings he is experiencing love, could this be more than just an arrangement? 

I really enjoyed this book, Kat lives up to her name and shows everyone that she is no sweet mafia princess but a woman who knows how to fight, Angelo is a man who wins wars but thought love could be a man’s downfall and weakness but with the right woman love is what makes him strong. Highly recommended book and series with darkness, violence, plenty of steam and a happily ever after worthy of 4.5*.

This is book three in The Mafia Lords series and it is Kat and Angelo’s story. Kat is a mafia princess and duty always comes first but it doesn’t mean that she doesn’t resent it so when her father arranged a marriage between Kat and Angelo who is her fathers enemy and because it is a business arrangement she has no choice but Kat will not make it easy for him as she is no walk over and Angelo will soon find that out. Angelo didn’t want to get married but as business always comes first he went along with it because you keep your enemy’s close but what he expected was a passive wife and Kat was far from that. The more time that they spend together things start to change between them but how will it all end. There are twists and turns along with danger, secrets, assassins, action, suspense, drama, violence, great characters and situations that will have you on the edge of your seat and turning the pages to see what would happen next and what the outcome would be for them all. I absolutely love this book and can’t wait to read more.

His Violent Vow is Book 3 of Mafia Lords by Winter Sloane. This is Angelo and Kat's story. Katharine (Kat) Marino is the daughter of Don Max Marino. Her father used Kat as a bargaining chip and set up an arranged marriage to Angelo Vitale. Angelo thinks he is getting a shy, quiet wallflower for a wife and instead he gets a feisty, strong wife. Kat is told her husband to be is not a good man. As they get to know each other Angelo shows his young wife his caring, loving, protective side. They were meant to be together. This is a well written book with action, secrets, assassins and much more. A really great read.

Winter Sloan’s ‘His Violent Vow’ is Angelo and Kat’s story of an arranged marriage between rivals. He’s reputed to be merciless, deadly, and violent. Kat is resigned to her fate, she knows her father sees her as a pawn and little else. She’s out with her friends and meets ‘Cole’ who she has a one night stand with.

Kat meets her new husband at the altar and discovers Angelo is Cole. She’s angry at his lie, but he continues with his tender care, brings out her passion, and protects her from an assassin. Their relationship grows stronger as they learn to trust each other and fight off enemies. A sweetly passionate story with a great ending!.

I really enjoyed how this author wrote this story in a very concise and to the point way. She cut out all the background noise pomp and circumstance that we normally have to sift through to get to the main plot points and sometimes skim right on over. I did not think I would like it and though I may feel like I missed something but really I did not. When I finished the book, I left feeling like I had left knowing the characters past, present and future. This was not my first book by this author. I really enjoy her writing but this book is my favorite so far. Give it and her a try you will not be disappointed.

This book was fast paced, no nonsense, straight to the action, and I loved it. Kat is forced to marry Don Angelo after her father strikes up a deal with him. It starts off as a kind of enemies to lovers because Kat is resentful about the entire thing and Angelo is more intrigued by her than anything. She’s not a shrinking violet, which he loves. Their chemistry is very hot throughout the book. Assassination attempts plague the couple early on, but the source is swiftly dealt with (his violent vow), and they go onto their happily ever after. He’s protective of her, and she’s loyal only to him. It was a good story.

Kat being a Mafia Princess has to agree to am arranged marriage as a business transaction. Her life was never hers. She revelers and has a one night stand with ahot guy. Only to find out it's the husband she was meant to despise. I loved how strong her character was. She didn't just conform and sit back.
Angelo had no choice but get married to his Enemies daughter.
To his surprise she is everything he thought she wouldn't be and it's stirring
Feelings in his dead heart.
Now they're both under attack. Can they survive this, can they actually love each other and fond their HEA?

Katharine “Kat” Marino's father, the Don of the Marino Familia has arranged marriage between her and Angelo Vitale, the Don of the Vitale Familia. This is a fast story as Kat goes out parting the night before her marriage and meets a very attractive man for a one-night stand only to find out him at the alter the next day. I love them together, she's just stubborn enough to keep him on his toes, just feisty enough to excite him. When her life is in danger, he does everything to protect her, but will it be enough as the enemy keeps trying to kill them? Mafia-esque type novella romance with an arranged marriage, hate to love trope and a HAE. This is Kat and Angelo's story.

Great easy read, has a bit of action not too much graphic violence, the MC's evolving relationship, love, revenge, sex and all the other ingredients of Mafia stories.

I felt it was, at times, slightly mechanical in its writing, but sometimes with a shortened story alot of the world building and emotions are lost to the length of the novella. That said it is worth a read.

I loved reading this book it was awesome, the story was written well and the characters were really amazing. This story was about Angelo Vitale and Katharine "Kat" Marino, kat's father made a deal with Angelo that he couldn't refuse, Kat was not happy so she went out with her friends and ended up sleeping with a man she just met. Angelo agreed to the arranged marriage he's hoping for an Heir, but will they get married.

This is the third book in the Mafia Lords series. What if you want to turn two powerful mafia families into one powerful one? Then you merge them and that is only possible through marriage. And is exactly what Angelo and Kat do. It's not a marriage without drama or tension, and besides that there are also secrets that slowly emerge and there is plenty of steam and heat between them. This is another one to read.

Angelo that he was getting a meek mafia wife but when he runs into her the night before their wedding, he sees a different side of her. It only makes him want her more.

Can these two find a happily ever after?.

Kat Marino has been promised (sold ) by her father to his enemy Angelo Vitale, in an arranged marriage. She goes out the night before and has a one-night stand with a gorgeous man. The next day she finds the same man at the alter waiting for her. The plot is entertaining and I really enjoyed the characters. As with all mafia stories there is action, suspense, danger, passion, and love. It's a sweet story that I really enjoyed.

Katharine “Kat” Marino's father, Aldo Marino, is the Don of the Marino Familia. He's arranged marriage between Kat and Angelo Vitale, Don of the Vitale Familia. These two are captivated by each other and what they believe to be a convenience ends up so much more. This is quite a journey and you'll enjoy every minute.

I enjoyed this book. It was about two enemies that were married because of a business deal. Angelo was a mafia boss and Kat was the daughter of one of his enemies who made a deal to become an ally. The more time spent with each other, the more they both realized they cared for the other. This book was action packed with a little bit of steam. Hope there's another in this series.

Short and sweet arranged marriage mafia romance. There’s a bit of drama from outside forces, but generally their relationship is all sweetness. I tend to like a bit more push and pull, but I still enjoyed the story and their happy ending.

Kat isn’t your typical mafia princess. She isn't flashy but actually pretty normal. This draws Angelo in the beginning. The way they meet the first time might seem like it was setting them up for disaster, but it gives Angelo time to get an idea of the real Kat.

It is an enjoyable story.
