Charting - or technical analysis as it is often known - is an invaluable guide to making better stockmarket decisions. It is a system used by an increasing number of the UK's active private investors in addition to most professional investors like stockbrokers and fund managers.Like its predecessor, this revised version provides a step-by-step guide to charting, all illustrated with worked examples, so enabling the reader to master the subject. The book has already become a 'classic' for private investors.
To help interested readers begin charting, the author has selected five charts worth over pound25 to give away Free.
Although written in the 1990s, this guide to financial charts remains as clearly written as ever. There is a great skill in communicating the skills of interpretation to the layman, particularly when, like me, his mathematical skills are rather limited. I suspect modern techniques, most particularly computer programs, have made the use of physical charts rarer but nevertheless, the underlying principles are revealed effectively in this extremely well written and illustrated guide.
