Raised in the impoverished South Side of Chicago, Farrah Gray defied the odds and became a self-made millionaire by the age of fourteen. His success is due, in part, to his emphatic rejection of the most pervasive lies about what it takes to succeed. In Get Real, Get Rich, Dr. Gray debunks seven common myths that people perceive as barriers to achieving their goals, in chapters such as The Born Lucky Lie, The Money Lie, and The Work Hard Lie. Listeners are presented with a new way to think about the road to wealth, as well as practical strategies they can use to propel themselves toward success.
I cannot put my finger on why I love this book so much. But, I do and highly recommend it. Gray's writing style hooks you in and easily inspires you. I loved every page.
This is not your typical motivational wealth book as Farrah Gray keeps it real. Too real at times. Do you want to pursue your passion (highly recommended) what's your plan? What's your plan to end your miserable whining about your job? I liked the chapters on Money and Debt the most.
This book was a life-changer for me. It was one in a series of book that I read that totally changed my mind set and the way I went about my daily routine. Farrah tells you the truth about yourself unapologetically, which is what we all need at some point if we're ever going to accomplish our goals in life. This is a must read.
An inspirational book for would be entrepreneurs that need a little push. Has a few nuggets of advice scattered throughout the book that makes it worth the read.
