When I first heard Jeffrey Mishlove talk about Dr. Semkiw’s identification of himself as the reincarnation of William James, I was so intrigued that I asked Mishlove to let me muscle test whether or not his energy system resonated with being James in a past life. It did, which convinced me of the accuracy of this correlation, which Mishlove himself prefers to call an “Archetypal Synchronistic Resonance.”
This book brings history to life with an “inside story” of the American revolution, presenting both the strengths and the weaknesses of the major figures. One case history that particularly impressed me was Semkiw’s identification of Michael Jackson as the reincarnation of Eston Hemmings, a very talented musician who was the illegitimate son of Thomas Jefferson and his slave Sally Hemmings. Semkiw pointed out that Jefferson, along with many other founding fathers, did not truly believe that all men are created equal, but that “all white men are created equal.”
Semkiw repeats his main point over and over that when we truly accept that we incarnate in many different cultures and races, religious wars will vanish. He shows how the revolutionaries have reincarnated as today’s spiritual leaders who are bringing awareness of the unity of all life. While I found the repetition of points from previous chapters a bit annoying, it did drive home the points and would have been even more helpful if I had been reading the book over a long period of time, when I needed my memory refreshed, rather than over the short time in which I devoured the contents!
As a psychotherapist who investigates the origin of emotional problems, I have been amazed to witness the past life stories my clients find which not only explain their current phobias or emotional impasses, but also release their problems in a quantum upward shift in functioning. Though I was raised in a traditional Christian church that opposed the theory of reincarnation, seeing its power to heal has won me over!

My interest in this book came from a recommendation by Caroline Myss. Semkiw identified Caroline as Benjamin Franklin's wife. Since Franklin was off in Europe much of their marriage, his wife lived a fairly lonely life here in the States. I was fascinated page after page reading this book. I was also convinced (like never before) of the accuracy of the forensics verifying the reincarnation of specific individuals. I agree with Semkiw that as we learn to utilize these resources; and understand that we carry experiences, talents and ideas from lifetime to lifetime; AND that we can build on previous experience; there could be generated greater tolerance (at the least) and acceptance (at the most) of difference within the human species.

I have read several books on reincarnation over the last 30yrs, yet this book taught me things I did not know. For example, people reincarnate with the same basic facial features. Unattractive people, don't dispair! The book points out that basic facial features can be tweaked in any number of ways, so that in some lives you are more beautiful than others.
You can tell the author is very passionate about what he has to say. He believes he is the reincarnation of John Adams, a key figure in revolutionary America, and that it is his purpose to spread the word about reincarnation.

Semkiw has an interesting theory, but just because two people born a couple of centuries apart have some similarities in appearance, personality, interests, and knowledge doesn't mean that they have the same soul. Also, it seems extremely unlikely that "key figures in the American Revolution" (back cover) would be reincarnated as Democrats and liberals--like Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Willie Brown, Oprah Winfrey (who endorsed Barack Obama), etc.--who are trying to undermine what the Founding Fathers accomplished.

Semkiw leaves little to the imagination as he deftly juxtaposes prominent revolutionary figures with current well-known figures.

I thoroughly enjoyed “Return of the Revolutionaries”. I already am aware of reincarnation and have awareness of several previous lifetimes. This book is a great vehicle to introduce the topic to non-believers.
I was led to your book after replaying “The Sacred Contract of America” by Myss and because I have had the words Sacred Contract come up since 2018 started.
A short stent in AFR as a Flight Nurse jogged my memory about my purpose this lifetime- Peace, Love, Harmony Warrior, not to perpetuate war....
I recall several male, past lives, which revolve around revolutions, so perhaps I was also around at this time. From these lifetimes I realize, might is not right. I know there is a peaceful and spiritual solution. This is my work too!
Thanks to all the teacher doing the work to make the world better! Blessings Abound! 🌟💝🌹

I'm usually fascinated by books about reincarnation, particularly ones that are focused on a particular person's past lives, but this book just seemed to be a bit too out there for me. Mr. Semkiw's claim that he's the reincarnation of John Adams is just stretching it a bit, especially when he also seems to believe that Marianne Williamson was once Abigail Adams, Jon's beloved wife and "dearest friend". If that's that's the case, then why aren't they together again in this lifetime? Surely something so strong would have transcended time, wouldn't it?

He gives entertaining theories, but with no real evidence.

This book is certainly somewhat interesting for the extent of information that it covers.

Unfortunately it remains completely stuck in the physical reality of reincarnation, without ever even entertaining for the moment the other possibility, which suggests that only spirit is real and physical manifestation the second-order phenomenon, whereby the body and the world are seen to be projections in the mind, and thus reincarnation is merely a matter of experience, not of fact.

This book definitely made me think. Even if you're not a believer in reincarnation, I think it's important to expose yourself to new ideas. If you're interested in thought provoking books, try the books by Dr. Semkiw.
