In this riveting eighth instalment of Nanny Piggins' adventures, she sets out to thwart Mr Green's political ambitions by running for mayor herself. Her mission? To proudly fight for Liberty, Equality and Cake!
Is democracy safe? Probably not Nanny Piggins has a radically different campaign, which includes a diabolical fun run, being trapped in a sabotaged life, faking seismic activity, safeguarding the local vacent lot and beating the world pole-vault record.
Love the book. At first I didn’t think it would be so interesting to me since I don’t like fiction comedy books, but it was hilarious!! I loved it! All the talk about cake made me hungryyyy! I wish I had a nanny that was a pig. AMAZING!
This random chocolate loving pig, taking on politics in this volume, makes me and my students ridiculously happy. Hooray for Nanny Piggins! I'd vote for her.
Still this series continues to be a family favorite. I continue to be impressed with her amazing masterful way to fix her conflicts… genius. I also continue to laugh every single time she talks about Boris the Russian bear being so emotional like all Russians… great joke.
