Most women would love for Luke Walters to ask that question. But when Misty Handlin can’t seem to find the right answer, Luke offers a new proposal.
"Go sow your wild oats this summer, then give me your answer."
Knowing she’s struggling with the unanswered questions regarding her first love, Misty decides to do just that. Maybe some time with the man who stole her heart all those years ago will finally quell whatever is holding her back from Luke.
Kellin Patel was forced to leave Misty behind when he was twelve years old. While the U-Haul pulled away from the only place that felt like a home, he wasn’t sure if he’d see her again. As the years went by, and time never seemed to be on his side, he finally began to accept he would never have another chance with Misty.
Now, all grown up, Misty is back and looking for one last wild summer with Kellin. Though their lives have continued to move in opposite directions, they’ll realize one thing has Always remained the same: They’ve both been holding on to the memory of first love and unspoken regret.
Who will Misty choose to spend Forever with?

Unable to accept a marriage proposal, Misty is given the summer to go wild before she settles down. She decides to go back to the boy who stole her heart, Kellin and demand answers.
I love this series but I struggled with the first half of the book. It did get a bit better but then that had to happen at 78% *facepalm* I didn't like the direction of the story.
Maybe if I read this book when I was in my NA mood last week I might have enjoyed it more. Not that it was bad, I know they are young but ex drama, mistakes, misunderstandings are not the type of books I enjoy. Sorry!
The most gorgeous writing and the deepest love I have ever read. THIS is why we authors write. To create something this beautiful. Once I finished it, I literally bawled which, believe it or not, says more about the story, the characters, the depth, the angst, the love, than it does about me right now. I love Cheryl's series Dirty so much, but a girl can love different styles. Where Dirty was gritty and raw, unapologetic in its ugly, passionate reality, in Always Forever, Cheryl is back to her New Adult roots. SPOILER: There IS no better HEA than this. There is no better love—Mr. Dee, do you love me this deep? Please tell me you do! :))
And at the tail end of it, when I was actually a bit grieving with the loss of the novel almost being over, she threw me a bone: a promise for another story I'm absolutely giddy about. #stopsrambling
Cheryl McIntyre is one of those versatile authors that has the ability to make the reader cry big fat ugly tears, experience unimaginable heartbreak, pace around in frustration - and most importantly, she has the ability to make you fall in love. And that’s exactly what I did with this book, I fell head over heels in love minutes into the story. Always Forever focuses on the lives of Misty and Kellin. They first meet each other as children and then spend the next several years weaving in and out of each other’s existence. Each time they cross paths, they get that one step closer to almost making their feeling for each other a reality - however fate intervenes and it slips from their grasp everytime. I’m a firm believer in love and I believe that everything happens for a reason, that we have to make the most of each opportunity as its presented to us. For Misty and Kellin, their last attempt at turning their friendship into something more ends in catastrophic results. The two drift farther apart, and the years pass again.
Set to enter her last year of college in Ohio, Misty has worked hard the past 3 years to let go of Kellin and the pain he caused her. Finally moving on with a great guy, she finds herself in love with Luke. A handsome, successful boy a few years older than her - he’s ready to settle down and move on with the next phase of his life. And he makes that quite clear when he proposes to Misty after just a 10 month relationship. Now, you’re probably thinking - what’s the problem?! He’s rich, successful, hot - and he wants to marry her! All that is perfect on the surface, but Misty’s heart and head are singing two different tunes. Sensing her hesitation, Luke suggests that Misty spend the summer “sowing her wild oats.” To return to him before the school year begins again, ready to start their life again. Misty knows exactly where she will go. To Chicago. To find Kellin..
Kellin Patel has learned to live with regret. He made a colossal mistake 3 years ago and it cost him an amazing girl he was halfway in love with. Flitting from one relationship to the next since then has diminished his self worth, left him wondering if he would ever find the love and romance he is desperately craving. Burned from his latest relationship failure after having just found out his girlfriend cheated on him, he has about given up hope. Deep down he has been punishing himself for years over hurting Misty and breaking her heart. When she suddenly pops up out of the blue in front of him, not only is he shocked to see her, but his heart leaps at the chance to redeem himself and win back the girl he’s always loved. When Misty and her best friend Sadie agree to accompany him on camping trip - it’s like nothing could go wrong. It seems they are both set to get what they want, Misty - a chance at answers. Kellin a chance to win her heart once and for all.
I loved the romance of this book. They way the two intertwined throughout each other’s lives appealed to me, even though they never had the best outcomes. When they finally reunite and embark on their camping trip, its like all the stars aligned. Unfortunately, they are both so stubborn - they don’t realize that what they want is staring them in the face, quite literally in those small tents. I wanted to grab the two of them and smash them together, screaming at them to get their heads out of the sand.
This story is true love in its finest form. When Kellin learns of Misty’s pending engagement, I actually could hear his heart crack. The more they are together, the more they both can’t deny that the feelings are still very real between them. The countdown to the end of the summer is maddening, with us left wondering what Misty’s choice will be. Can she trust her heart to Kellin again? Or is her future better set with Luke?
But this is a Cheryl McIntyre book so we know that we will see the heartache again...and we do. Just when I thought it was all set to work out - a huge bomb is dropped. One I didn’t see coming… One that shatters the world of all parties involved and leaves us wondering how they can ever find their happy ending.
If you love a angsty romantic read, this is a book for you. If you’ve followed the series, you’ll be happy to see the reappearance of some of the other characters, however this book can be read as a stand alone. I recommend reading the entire series as its just that damn good.
As for Misty and Kellin - what will their Always Forever be? Eternal heartbreak? The love of a lifetime? Pick up a copy and let them tell you their story.
Misty is twenty one, in school and is now breathing easy because she has just finished her finals and is looking forward to a break from college over the summer. Her boyfriend Luke is a great guy. He's almost 30, is a financial trader and is financially secure. He surprises her one night with a marriage proposal and one seriously large piece of finger bling. But Misty can't bring herself to say " Yes." When she tells him she has to think about it, he asks her if it's because she feels she still has some wild oats to sow. Her hesitation makes him think this is what it must be about. He thinks she should spend the summer getting it all out of her system, but come back to him after the summer is over and they can start their life together. I found myself thinking what man wouldn't mind you sleeping with other guys over the summer just as long as you come back to him???
When she lets herself think about what is really holding her back, she is honest and admits she never got over her feelings for Kellin Patel, Mason's brother and Hope's brother-in-law. (these characters have been in all the previous books) She makes plans to spend the summer at their place, she just hates leaving her best friend Sadie, who is a real pistol and has no filter when it comes to speaking her mind!
A few years earlier at Hope and Mason's wedding, Kellin just about destroyed her heart. She was thinking that they would finally be getting together and become more than friends. They have been in and out of each other's lives for a long time, but have never crossed that invisible line. Kellin misunderstood something and set out to hurt Misty by sucking face at the wedding with another girl. Misty saw them, felt her heart crack, sucked it up for the wedding and never saw him again.
Meanwhile, Kellin's girlfriend, Kelly, has just broken up with him. She was cheating on him with her ex. They had been getting ready to take a vacation that Kellin has been planning for years; camping from state to state, with no thought but hiking, fishing and swimming. He and his roommate Roh were going with her and one of her friends. No way can he afford to go now. So his heart is hurting and he is out the trip he looked forward to going on. When he meets up with Misty at his brother's, he is shocked to see her. When she hears about his predicament, she offers to go, along with Sadie. Not sure who is more surprised, Kellin, or Misty that she offered.
The four of them set out and it's awkward and tense. Their past is always with them. Kellin admitted to himself a long time ago that he made a big, immature mistake with Misty that he didn't know how to fix. He has had a series of relationships that have failed since then.. It's only through games of Truth or Dare that the past is discussed and their old feelings come to the surface.
But as wonderful as it seems things are going, these two have relationships that are still very much present. When Luke comes to her and tells her he doesn't think this idea of his can work without slowly killing him, Misty is forced to look at both men in her life. When Kellin's ex comes back with some interesting news, everyone's life is rocked.
This is a great addition to the Sometimes Never Series. There were some angsty moments, and I honestly am not sure that I could be as understanding as Misty was about Kellin's situation. But fictional characters have more tolerance than I do!
They are both good people, and deserved to find their long awaited HEA's.
"I lost you once when we were kids," I utter. "I lost you again at the wedding. I didn't want to get my hopes up just to lose you again."
I seriously do not know how this woman does it. Always Forever was probably my new favorite book of Cheryl's. Every book is more amazing and beautiful than the last. It's so hard to pick a favorite. But I 100% without a doubt know I want to be part of a Kellin and Roh sandwich ;-) I loved getting to see some of our favorite characters from past books and meeting new ones. I loved Kellin. The name alone makes me love him and he pretty much put my other fictional book boyfriend Kellan Kyle to shame... he gave him a run for his money and he did NOT disappoint. Roh, oh Roh.... he kept me laughing the entire time and I seriously am in love with him. And Sadie, I truly hope we get their story next! and Misty I loved. She was adorable and such a wonderful character. I love a second chance at love kind of book and this was everything I expected and so much more. It made you laugh, happy, sad, it was truly raw and beautiful. The writing was impeccable and flawless. And the plot alone is very intriguing and that alone captures your attention and does not let go until the very last page. I had to actually slow down, I didn't want to finish and then I couldn't help myself. Sigh. I will be re-reading this by the end of the week. The scenes were amazing and touching. Her saving milk for him, the nerf wars, it was just simply a beautiful phenomenon.
The book starts off and Luke is asking Misty to marry him. He gives her one summer to make sure he is what she wants and to settle any unresolved feelings. And Misty knows in order to move on she needs to take that chance and get over Kellin Patel. Kellin is going through a tough time and recently breaks up with his cheating girlfriend and Misty shows up and they decide to take a camping trip with their friends Sadie and Roh. The entire encounter is amazing and hilarious. The two are getting to the bottom of things that happened in the past and trying to be friends. But circumstances are against them and the pull is strong. The two start to fall all over again so Kellin makes Misty another proposition. To stay the remainder of the summer with him. And she does, but soon things start to go wrong. Can they finally have a chance at happiness or will unforeseen events and circumstances keep them apart yet again? you will have to read to find out.
"You run, I run with you."
"And she's your ex. I whacked it- past tense- to fantasies of your now ex girlfriend."
"I lied about the toilet seat thing, so it's okay. We're pretty s***** roommates too."
"You said you fell in love with her again. Love doesn't work that way. It doesn't run out and need refilling. It's like a well. You draw from it. But the supply is endless."
"My four-leaf-clover?""Hard to find, once in a lifetime, once you have it you hold onto it, etcetera."
"We all get old, fat, and wrinkly- if we're lucky enough to live that long. And then someday, we all die. I want to get old, fat, and wrinkly with you- my best friend."
I have loved/stalked Cheryl McIntyre since I first read Sometimes Never, and with every book she has released, I've loved her more. Her writing style and knack for story telling immediately hooks me, and keeps me entertained from the first page to the very last, and the family of characters that she has created in this series is one that feels like a part of me, and one I never want to have to let go of.
I have been waiting so long for Misty and Kellin's story, and as soon as I started reading I was filled with this intense emotion. Not because the story at that time was particularly emotional; but because over the years, I've seen these characters grow, and to be back with them at this point in time brought tears to my eyes.
Now, although i had a slight meltdown at the start, the rest of the book I had pretty much a constant grin on my face. I'm pretty sure I've never smiled so much whilst reading a book as I did throughout Always Forever. I read, I laughed, I loved, I highlighted, and I repeated this cycle continuously until the very end.
This book absolutely can be read as a standalone, but being completely honest, you would miss out on an incredible series if you only read this one. The journey of the Sometimes Never series is one that should be experienced in it's entirety for you to get the full impact of each set of characters story like I did. I promise you won't regret it!
I think it's safe to say that although I have loved every single book in this series, Always Forever would have to be my favourite. I'm STILL grinning whenever I think about Misty and Kellin's story, and I'm completely swooning over Kellin Patel all grown up!! Oh my, that guy certainly takes after his big brother in winning over hearts and taking over book boyfriend lists.
Now that I'm another book down in this series I'm filled with a sense of melancholy. We have a novella for one of my favourite characters, Guy, that has already been released, but then after that? I have no idea whether the author plans to write any more books for these characters, but I will hope and pray that she does. I would love (and I mean LOVE) to see Sadie and Roh get a story. And I mean, the twins have to grow up at some point, right? I'm kind of grasping at straws a little bit here, but work with me Cheryl!!
But until the day I hope for comes, you can find me living in the land of blissful ignorance, where I refuse to acknowledge the possible end of one of my all time favourite series, and continue to get lost in every single book that this amazing author releases.
OMG-----I LOVEDDDDDD this book. I was just going through some that I read, I keep a log of them all so I can watch and hope for others in the series. And I came across this one yesterday, I started it then. I am so glad I did, because it was awesome, just like the rest were.
I just loved Kellin and Misty's story. And all the other characters from the previos books being in there was awesome, and a bonus.
I loved all the charcters in this book; even Luke. He was such a sweet, understanding, gentlemen.
This couple was long over due, getting together. I am so glad they finally found eachother and happiness. That is true love.
Can't wait for the next book to come out.
Honestly--not sure I will ever be able to look at Nesquick again, without a smile on my face. Because I went to the store today, saw it on the shelf, and this book came flooding back, lol.
Thanks Cheryl McIntyre for another great story, that captured my heart!!!
Always Forever is the 4th book in the Sometimes Never series, however, it can be read as a stand alone book.
We met Kellin and Misty in Sometimes Never. Kellin was Mason's brother and Mason's girlfriend, Hope, was Misty's foster sister. Kellin and Misty hung out when Mason was hanging out with Hope. But then Kellin, at age 12, was forced to move away with his mom, leaving he and Misty broken hearted. This is where we left off on Sometimes Never. (Not to worry, new readers, we get the back story in Always Forever.)
Always Forever begins with a proposal from Misty's boyfriend, Luke. Nine years older, Luke is established in life and knows what he wants--and that is Misty. However, Misty is not sure she is ready to get married. Luke assumes it's because she is so young and tells her to "Go sow your wild oats this summer, then give me your answer." Thus leading to quite a camping trip with Kellin, his best friend, Roh, and her best friend, Sadie.
What I love about Cheryl's books is her character development. And it's never just the main character(s). She always makes her secondary characters feel like the main characters--if that makes any sense. I loved Kellin, but I LOVED Roh! I really "liked his brain." The emotion Cheryl delivers in this book is amazing--as it is with all her books. But the desperation she portrays for Kellin is off the charts. But Cheryl always has a way to balance the serious with humor and Always Forever is no exception.
One more novella to go--Guy's story--and this series will be finished and I will be very sad! I have it on good authority though that Roh will get his own book. I know Cheryl has other books in the works but I cannot wait. Anyhow, if you are a fan of the Sometimes Never series, you definitely want to read Always Forever!
I loved all of Cheryl's books and this was no exception. She just has a way of writing that pulls you in and you end up never wanting to leave.
Kellin and Misty met each other when they were twelve and thirteen and they've loved each other since but life got in the way and split them up. It was completely heart breaking getting inside their minds and knowing getting together isn't going to be easy.
I absolutely loved everything about this book. From Hope and Mason's wedding, Roh and Sadie, the camping trip, all the small things in-between and then the ending. God, that ending had me smiling like an idiot. I love HEA and you get that here. There are some scenes that had me tearing up because I just wanted everything to be okay and I loved them too. Everything here just works.
This book was soo cute! I loved everything about it. I wish it was longer because I couldn't get enough of kellin. The writing was very good and the story was cute and refreshing compared to the other books. Overall, awesome book :)
I love this series...love watching all of them find their ways in life and love. Every couple..every friendship..but Kellin and Misty were my favorite..great read!
Sometimes Never is one of my favorite series ever. I absolutely love Cheryl's storytelling about these young adults and the triumphs and tribulations they go through in their lives. Cheryl can tell a story that will absolutely crush your soul and then slowly mend it back together page by page.
I have been waiting for Kellin Patel's story since we read about his brother Mason's story. Of course we has to fast forward a few years, because Kellin was far younger in Mason's book. Now Kellin is a grow man and has crossed paths with Misty.... again.
When Kellin and Misty first met they were 12 and 13. Young love, first loves. And then Kellin broke Misty's heart. She was a mess and always cared for Kellin. Misty also happens to be Hope's foster sister. I guess this doesn't help matters, because they had to see each other over the years, since Hope and Mason are a couple.
Now Misty is on the verge of accepting her boyfriend's marriage proposal, but there is something that is holding her back. Her boyfriend suggests that she take some time to think it over. Misty hears that Kellin is going camping in a summer long road trip with his friend. She takes this opportunity to go along with her friend.
The friendship between Kellin and Misty is rekindled. But the more time they spend together, the more they become like a couple. There is feelings there that run so deep, neither is willing to admit it. You know these two belong together, hell, the universe knows it as well. That is why they ended up back in each other's paths when it came down to it.
This was a great continuation of the series. I am so glad Cheryl kept it going!!
3.5 stars rounded up to 4. I wanted to like this book more than I found I did after reading it. The h has been dating a guy for quite some time. He wants to get married but she has some second thoughts. She has a past love that she has never been able to forget. Her current boyfriend tells her that he and she should take a break for the summer and she should go out and sow her wild oats and then come back and marry him.
Well, my thought would be if anyone needed to sow wild oats they probably weren't ready to get married in the first place. But, anyway, the h is determined to track down her old boyfriend and get him out of her system. Yeah, sure.
Of course, the old boyfriend only rekindles every feeling she ever had for him. He finds out about her "sew her wild oats" situation so a lot of the book is he and she thinking about how they only have a few more weeks left, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. The H is banging the h thinking she is going to marry someone else, and the h is banging the H knowing that she has already taken care of the situation but not letting the H know. Kind of icky. But I was happy for the HEA.
When I first starting reading this book, I admit I was lost. For the life of me I couldn't remember who Kellin or Misty was and I have read all of the Sometimes Never series. So, I went back a look at a couple of pages of Sometimes Never and remembered who they were.
Some spoilers in my review (be warned)
At the beginning I cried along with Misty when Kellin broke her heart. I couldn't figure out what in the hell Misty did to piss him off. When I found out later that it was a misunderstanding, I wanted to slap Kellin. What he he'll is wrong with guys talking to each other instead of assuming anything (you know what they say about assuming...lol).
I loved this book and glad that Misty and Kellin got their HEA. Now I can't wait for Guy's story in the series. :)
Once again, stupid, big grin all over my face!! I loved Kellin and Misty's story!! They are too cute together, and aside from bad timing, they really had no other issues! I loved them getting to know each other again and I like that since Sadie was in their little camping trip she made sure to get their dirty laundry aired early! I liked that there were very few secrets between them! Just a really cute second chance at first love story with a nice happy ending!! What's up with Roh and Sadie?? That would be a fun story to read... Just sayin..
I love this series so much. Each book has been unique with a beautiful love story. Unfortunately, this one just wasn't for me. I didn't connect with Misty at all. One of my pet peeves is couples not communicating, and problems arising from that yet their actions say it all. This wasn't for me but I will always buy from this author!
Again a lovely love story. Kellin and Misty fell in love the first time they met back when they were 12. It takes a proposal from Mistys current boyfriend for her to realise that she never got over Kellin. Can they rekindle their first love? Will it be all they hoped? Lovely to see some characters from the first book in the series making small appearances in this story too.
This is definitely a must read! I have loved this series from the start, but this is by far my favorite book! Kellin is on the top of my hot book boyfriend list!
This is such a good book. It's a beautiful story about love, not giving up,and following your heart. I was sucked in to this book and held on to every word. Awesome love story that makes you feel..<3

Mag's 4 Star Review:
Let me first start off by saying, there has not been on single thing written by Cheryl McIntyre that I have not loved. Not liked, but LOVED. Her books have the ability to mess you up emotional, mentally and most defiantly physically, especially with all that Nesquik making going on. While reading her books they own, consume, and eat away at me until they are all I think about. I cannot express how much I love her characters and the emotions they portray and Kellin and Misty were no different.
Misty and Kellin have a very complicated and long relationship full of heartache and disappointments, but fate has a way of bringing people back to each other when they need each other the most. Misty is faced with a decision that, for most, would be an easy one getting married to her current boyfriend of ten months, but for Misty there are lingering doubts of a boy who wiggled his way into her heart and hasn't left. Setting out on a mission to find out what she truly wants, Misty is forced to face her real emotions, the ones locked deep away.
Kellin has always had a thing for Misty, ever since she was schooling him in basketball and before he was forced to move away from her. Many years and stupid decisions later, Kellin comes face to face with Misty for the first time in a long time and he soon realizes his feelings haven't left or went away. If anything his feelings have only grown over time.
This book is a beautifully emotional journey of two kindred spirits finding their way back to each other and finding the ways to work past their stubbornness to attempt to be happy. One of the many things I love about the Sometimes Never series is the reoccurring characters and we got to see some friendly faces from the previous books in this one, which is always nice. Kellin and Misty have a special place in my heart, because I feel like I have watched them grow up. They were twelve when we first met them and now we see them at twenty-one and finding out who they really are. I highly recommend this entire series to everyone looking for a beautiful reads that will leave you wanting more!
Misty has just been proposed to by her boyfriend Luke. It should have been an easy question to answer but something is holding her back .. or someone.
They agree for her to go and have the summer to think on it. So she goes to family with the intention of seeing Kellin; the one she loved but he broke her heart
This is Misty and Kellin’s story, who we have been introduced to in earlier books in this Series. It can be read as a standalone.
Meet Misty Handlin. She’s a 21 year old college student who rents an apartment with three other people. She comes from a huge family and she’s currently in a relationship with 30 year old Luke Walters. Luke is very wealthy, owns his own condo, various cars and has numerous boy’s toys to his name.
When Luke proposes to her after only 10 months of dating with a huge sparkler from Tiffany’s (sigh!), Misty freaks out and starts thinking that if she accepts his proposal, she may be missing out on her once in a lifetime true love. She does love Luke but believes she is too young for marriage.
Luke, seeing her reluctance to accept his proposal, gives her his own proposal. He tells her to take the summer and sow her wild oats then come back and accept his proposal.
Misty agrees to this proposal and heads back to Chicago for the summer to try and reconnect with Kellin Patel, the man she was once prepared to give her virginity and life to years earlier.
A lucky turn of events see her, her best friend Sadie, Kellin and his best friend and roommate Roh set off on a driving and camping holiday for 15 days together. During this time, the truth of past actions comes out and sets the course for the remainder of their trip and the rest of the summer.
This was such a heart-warming and feel good story and I spent the majority of the book with a smile on my face.
Always Forever sucked me in right from the start and didn’t release me until I finished the very last word of the book on the same day I started it! I couldn’t and didn’t want to put it down. The author’s writing style flows is flawless and makes for an easy read.
I am a huge fan of this Series and Always Forever did not disappoint. I highly recommend it!
I was given a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review. Reviewed by Tanya.
I don't think I can properly express how much I love Cheryl McIntyre and the Sometimes Never series. This has been one of my favorite series and continues to get better with each book. I have loved each character and every storyline. Each new book becomes my favorite and that streak continues with this story. Kellin and Misty have a complicated history that started as a childhood friendship. After being separated by a move they manage to reconnect and begin building an even stronger bond, but one night ruins everything. What should have been a happy reunion turns into heartbreak. Once again separating the two and forcing each to go on without the other. As the years pass and their lives take them in different directions, they still can't help but think about that night that everything went wrong and how it ruined a beautiful friendship. When Misty is faced with a decision that will affect her future, she decides to take the summer to clear her head and maybe figure out what happened. The summer takes an unexpected turn when Misty and Kellin find themselves on a camping trip with friends and a game of truth or dare brings the past to light. As the summer progresses they find the bond they shared so long ago is still there and is growing stronger. As their time together comes to an end relationships from their past and present intervene and threaten to separate them again for good. I absolutely love this book and how the story plays out. I loved getting to see a little bit from the characters in previous books as well and getting to experience all that is Roh and Sadie. This is a fantastic addition to an already amazing series. Fantastic job again Cheryl McIntyre!! I highly recommend this book and the entire series.
This was a quick, easy read, it took only a couple of hours. I didn't like it as much as Mason/Hope or Chase/Annie, but it was better than Park/Lucy.
I had such a hard time with the premise of this book. Misty has a (seemingly) great boyfriend named Luke, he's about 10 years older than her and wants to get married and settle down. She's hesitant, so he suggests she take the summer to "sow her wild oats" and then they get married. Cue my WTF face! There is NO WAY I believe any guy would be ok with that. And why would Misty be torn about a guy who suggests that? I'd be out the door pronto.
Kellin and Misty were BFF's hoping for more when a stupid (and I mean really stupid) misunderstanding happens. So for three years they've been left with "what if...". I did like how they talked about what happened and sorted it out right away. The attraction is still there for both and I did like them together. But about 75% into the story another problem arises to tear them apart. Instead of talking about it like the mature adults that they seemed to have become, there is running and sadness.
I really liked the supporting characters, Sadie and Roh. They added much levity to all the drama.
I love this series and I love Cheryl McIntyre's writing, no doubt. Unfortunately, this installment didn't hit the mark for me.
Although, I agree Misty and Kellin had some nice chemistry, the Angst meter was just too off the charts for me in this one. And what's worse was that the reasons for the actions of our main characters made them come off as just...stupid really.
I dunno perhaps if I were 13 years old I would've gotten off more on what went on here, but they just struck me as immature.
Things started out promising but slowly deteriorated from there. I lived through it well enough, but this one goes to the bottom of the Sometime Never totem pole.
Misty and Kellin were the least of the characters in this series and I found it a little hard to connect with them in their story as a result. They were like twelve when they first met and fell in love and then all sorts of life dramas keep them apart for the next eight years, as well as keeping them in touch to some extent.
They sort it all out and then live happily ever after.
I did like the "relationship" between Roh and Sadie in this one though. Would have liked a closer, more detailed "peek" at that one!
Probably my least favourite in this series but I have read four consecutively now. Might have overdosed myself :)
ugh ugh UGH!!! I looked past all the high school cliches, spin the bottle, truth or dare...I looked past the whole will you marry me, I'll even let you sow your oats first (NO GUY WOULD SAY THIS). But then the inevitable twist at the end happened, that every author seems to use when they run out of twists (and this already happened in this series) and I just couldn't look past it anymore. This book had jumped the shark. As disappointed as I am, I just love the characters she creates and the writing style of the author and if there is another book I will probably read it :)
