“Shoot First Ask Questions Never” was the first book that I read by author Fanita Pendleton. The storyline was mediocre based on the excitement and praise that people had provided before reading. Maybe I was missing something throughout the book. The title for me didn’t fit the story since not much shooting was done until towards the end of the book and even then before shooting someone was asking questions. A few times I found myself skipping pages because it was either long drawn out flashbacks or descriptions. I understand having a few but when they take up numerous pages, it gets away from the storyline. The descriptions of the characters were unrealistic i.e. how many people are going to be Navy Seals? Why would people with law degrees and PhDs want to be in the escort business? It seemed too far-fetched to be believable. It has some humorous and exciting moments but I not enough to keep my attention. Currently, I am not sure if I will be reading the rest of the series based off of this one…

Loved this read....Lord these twins are off the chain. Loved the action and suspense with how things were carried out. Uncle Dollar needs to chill, GOD needs to hurry and get back on his A game. Love the spark between him and Atty Tonya Green. Will big sis forgive and forget or will there be more wars. Lord please hurry and drop part 2 I can't wait to long. Excellent read.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! There were a few misspelled words, but not enough to detract from the story, or the amount or stars that Ms. Pendleton earned for her writing. I found myself pulled in, rooting for my favorite characters, and not wanting the story to end! I have already told my mother that this is next on her reading list, so you KNOW that it was good!
