I haven't read volume one of this series, but the brief summary of the story so far at the start of this volume made it easy to jump right into the story.
This was a really fun story and I loved the art style. The character designs are really nice.
This is a world full of demons that Qwan goes round eating. This volume gives a lovely little back story for Daki, showing how she was raised in a forest of bugs.
I would definitely consider picking up more Qwan volumes in the future.

The second volume of Qwan continues the excellent art of the first, and focuses the plot quite nicely. I became attached to these characters, winced when they came to harm and rejoiced in their victories. Shimizu's storyline is more polished and easier to follow than in the first volume's, too. While the first volume only received four stars from me, this one deserves the fifth and a favorite nod. Looking forward to the next two.
