In a world that has lost itself, Caleb must wade through the debris of the life he is thrust into, and find the makings of a purpose he could never imagine. I am a 27 year old writer, with an Honours degree in English, from Auckland, New Zealand who has been writing on and off ever since the age of five, when the rest of my primary school class used to come to me for spell checking!

I am inspired by all forms of art, literature, music, film and philosophy. In literary terms I am especially inspired by the works of Shakespeare, Milton, and modern authors such as John Marsden and Stephen King. My own writings primarily deal with the hardships of the human condition, alienation and attempting to find strength and truth in dark times.

I am the author of the two part series entitled The Golden Children, and The Nexus Saga (a dark sci-fi saga currently in progress. Books One and Two are available now).

Interessante.

Get to the point. I don't mind some suspense, but by the end of the book we still have no idea who anyone is or why they're doing what they do. At best we know that of the main characters, one works for an organization that no one knows about but somehow everyone recognizes and is instantly terrified of their "gold cards", another is " different", one more is "troubled" and has experiences that another can but won't explain, and two are dead. I'm not rushing to read book two.
