In my opinion, this book was a bit of a downgrade from the previous ones in the series. It definitely wasn't awful, and it was an enjoyable book, but I had some definite problems with it. These were; the way that Londoners were portrayed as speaking Cockney all the time (seriously, people haven't done that to that scale since like, the 19th century) and the way that Ivy's sudden popularity was portrayed (it was unrealistic and just agravating). I also thought, for the most part of the book, Jackson was acting really weird, and although we did find out his motives for his behaviour in the end, he did THE WORST job in the world at keeping it hidden (I thought he was supposed to be an actor!). Plus that scene at lunchtime in the cafeteria where Ivy bumped into that bunny, for some reason drove me crazy. I know that there has to be some kind of conflict or problem to solve, but asdfghjkl I just hate that scene so much!
Anyways, onto more positive thoughts, I did like that in this book Sophia had a main storyline, and the way said storyline was resolved, plus the incorporation of the new character Will was awesome too. And I can't deny that although all the Olivia and Jackson stuff could sometimes be a little silly and melodramatic, it was pretty cute. Recommended to MSTV fans, but definitely not one of my favourites.
