Over the years, we have used this wonderful resource to work through many qualities/habits. It has been so helpful to have stories, poems, verses, and prompts gathered into one place, easy to locate and read together.
As this is intended for implementation over the course of many years of education, I haven't read through the entire book (books, actually, as it is split into two for ease of use); but have read enough of it to know that it is worth purchasing and using in one's homeschool (particularly if Charlotte Mason's educational philosophy is the basis for one's style of homeschooling, although I'm sure any type of educator would enjoy using this).
It pairs with "Laying Down the Rails" by Sonya Shafer, which compiles Mason's writings on each habit.
