Aaron and Michelle descend on Paris, and their misadventures spawn my favorite book in the Nightlife series so far!

(Beware of spoilers if you nave not read the previous books in the series)
She loved the tower. It seemed an affirmation of French culture. A glorious three hundred and twenty-four meter celebration of the phallus. Nous avons le plus grande pénis.
Oh yes, this series is getting better and better with each book! This is deliciously twisted Urban Fantasy for those who enjoy a book with bite.

The Nightlife: Paris provided all the backstory I've been craving on the mysterious Michelle. We learned how the French femme fatale became a Vampire, how she survived Nazi occupied Paris, and all the reasons she crafted a strict set of rules to live by.

Rules she broke when she turned Aaron Pilan into a Vampire, thereby changing both their lives in the process.

Aaron Pilan
His dark brown eyes reflected the knowledge and experience of a man twice his age. He had loved and lost. He had experienced the harsh realities of enslavement, yet loved his captor. He was one of the most formidable examples of masculinity and strength, near angelic in his abilities, yet he would never be a free man.
This story picks up right after the devastating loss of Anastasia at the end of Nightlife: Las Vegas. Aaron is carrying a heavy burden as he processes the death of his beloved wife and pet. His only consolation is the unconditional love and support of his master, Michelle.

She has been a constant companion and mentor from the moment he awoke to his new life in New York. There's no question of who holds the balance of power in their relationship. Aaron may be loved and adored by Michelle, but she can end him at any moment, and he knows it.

As Michelle shows Aaron all the decadent pleasures of the Paris Nightlife, she begins revealing more information about her mysterious past... Eventually Aaron realizes that there's so much about Michelle he didn't know, and he must come to terms with the demons of her past...

This series might focus on Aaron's story, but Michelle was the star of this book...

Michelle de Mornac
She kissed away his melancholy. Her loving hands, soft lips, and perfumed scents were an addiction for which he had no cure. He could lose himself in her for eons without knowing the passage of time. Who could complain of spending their life with Michelle? Men would give fortunes to be with this woman. Why couldn't he just be happy with her? Who could expect more?
I began this book with a crush on Michelle. She's an incredibly badass female character capable of fucking her lovers to death... Literally. She's a vicious, powerful goddess wrapped up in a gloriously perfect blonde bombshell package.

My admiration for (and infatuation with) Michelle only increased as I read her backstory in this book... She truly is one of the most badass bitches I've ever encountered. As a few new faces were introduced to us in this book, I was startled to discover that Michelle was not The most badass bitch on the planet... That title most assuredly goes to Urvashi...

Urvashi
A thief of identities, a mimic shape-shifter. He wondered what she really looked like. Or perhaps she had been stealing the lives of others for so long she no longer had an identity of her own.
Urvashi is a shape-shifting fallen Angel who stumbles across Aaron and Michelle in Paris. She is a master manipulator who has played puppet master for centuries. Urvashi's motives and intentions are murky at best, and I'm sure we'll be seeing more of her in future books.

The Nightlife: Paris was definitely a study in character development. Aaron and Michelle struggle with their Master/slave relationship in a way which hadn't been touched on since Micelle had to use her compulsive powers in New York.

While Michelle and Aaron work to strike a new balance in their relationship, the pair are being watched. Urvashi isn't the only one stalking this pair of predators through the streets of Paris...

It seems wherever these two go, they leave a trail of blood, entrails, and broken hearts behind...

They left the states to start over, but it seems trouble will always catch up to them...

Travis has created a vampiric renaissance unequalled since Salem's Lot. His two main characters, Michelle the master and Aaron her predatory mate are brilliantly written with gallons of gore and development in the lust department as the pair leave a swathe of blood-drained bodies wherever they stay. The sexually casual way the vampires use their prey with descriptions that leave the reader breathless with anticipation are nothing short of genius. Improvisation is the name of the game as Travis creates a masterful technique of modern words and language including French - which was easy to follow I might add - and embraces the genre injecting it with fresh blood to give rebirth to a drained subject.
And with the clever use of a lengthy flashback to the romantic era of a war-torn Paris to explain the vampire's heritage this reader was left in no doubt this book surpassed all expectations with it's fluent dips into sexual fantasies to please all tastes not demure. The story never drops in pace as we are dragged breathless through one catastrophe after another as the vampires are hunted by an unseen foe until they are separated by circumstances beyond their control, then we really feel how much these creatures can love and yearn what once was. This is a FIVE STAR GOREFEST EROTICA MASTERPIECE.

I fell in love with The Nightlife New York, The Nightlife Las Vegas and Blood Slave, but as hyped up as I was to read this book…nothing could have prepared me for the love I have for The Nightlife Paris! If you haven’t read these books, what are you waiting for? They are amazing and The Nightlife New York and The Nightlife Las Vegas should be read before reading The Nightlife Paris.

Now that I have said that, after reading all of Travis Luedke’s books I still felt so unprepared for feelings I had after reading The Nightlife Paris. This book was full of raw emotional turmoil and intense action; I was captured from the start and did not want to put it down. In fact, I didn’t put it down.

I couldn’t get enough of Michelle and Aaron in the first two books. I fell in love with these ultra-sexy vampires in New York. Then, I felt my heartstrings being tugged at with the emotional loss of Anastasia in Las Vegas. I was full of anxiety waiting to find out what happened with that creepy investigator who already knew too much… but I was not expecting what happened in Paris.

Aaron and Michelle flee from Vegas after the mayhem and their loss, to Paris. Once in Paris, Aaron is desperate to acquire another “pet.” Michelle struggled with this, knowing that there should not be another blood slave in the picture for them. Michelle wants so badly to heal the hole that has been left between her and Aaron after the tragic events of Vegas. While trying to make Aaron recognize that a new blood slave is not a good idea, she has to do what she has been avoiding. She must share her past with Aaron in hopes that he will understand.

Travis Luedke takes these two characters on a historic journey through the German occupation of Paris during World War II and the life that Michelle led and how she became who she is. I was not prepared for this. Intense was probably the only word I could come up with that would do this journey any sort of justice. It was a dark, brutal and twisted time in Paris and then you throw in vampires and all bets are off.

I don’t want to give away too much of what happens after the journey through Paris during the war as I don’t want to ruin it. But that creepy investigator does the unthinkable and leaves both Michelle and Aaron in a place that they haven’t been in since that fateful first night in New York, each of them alone.

I still cannot get enough of these characters. I fell in love with these two all over again in The Nightlife Paris, but more than that, I fell in love with the deeper connection the two of them shared. By the end of the book, it was so much more than Aaron and his master and it was deeply moving. If you are looking for me to go on and on about the amazing vampire sex, I am not going to do that, it did seem a little toned-down in this book compared to the previous two. However, it was not lacking great steam by any means. This book was more raw and full of aggression and fear, but it did not lack that steam I have become accustomed to in The Nightlife Series.

This book took me to a new level in fictional appreciation. I loved and adored this book so much. I felt so much passion for the characters while reading this book. The Nightlife Paris was well crafted and brilliantly written. Travis Luedke has really done a superb job taking two characters on such an amazing journey through these books and I am anxiously awaiting the next stop in London.

On a side note, great job with the third and first person transitions in the book Travis! It was well written and seamless! In fact, I only really noticed it the second time I read it. Also, I have to mention the editing in this book. I have read several books recently and begged for them to end because of the poor editing, this was so not one of those books. The attention to detail in the editing process in this book was phenomenal.

Travis Luedke… I don’t know how you do this with each book, but please don’t stop! I cannot get enough of the characters, the drama and action and of course the steamy scenes! I highly recommend The Nightlife Paris!

Wow! It is obvious to me that Luedke has become more comfortable with his characters and the idea of revealing them to us in depth and detail. I never thought of Michelle or Aaron as two dimensional, but in The Nightlife Paris they step out of the pages as flesh and blood, so real that you can almost smell them. However, smelling them may not be such a good thing as this story is as gritty, bloody and fascinating as the rest of the series, but better!

I will not offer a synopsis of this installment as I feel like the reader needs to experience this one without knowing what is coming. I will say that a large portion of this story is Michelle's history, which we know from book 1 is dark and cruel. However, the depth of her suffering and lengths to which she had to go to survive was almost shocking in its stark depiction.

This segment of Michelle and Aaron's tale is dark and graphic, but with mesmerizing descriptions and a morbidly compelling storyline, I felt this was the best of The Nightlife Series by far.

I was provided an advance copy of this book without charge for an honest review. My opinions are my own and have not been influenced by any payment, agreement or other compensation.

This is the third book int he erotic, vampire Nightlife series.

Having lost his wife in Vegas, Aaron is heartbroken. Michelle attempts to assuage his pain by visiting her home/homeland, but there's a fundamental problem with that: Paris is where Michelle was made a vampire. She's got a lot of badass memories from her time as a sexual slave to her sadistic master, and later as a Nazi hunter in WWII.

So, not all the best things to cheer up a guy.

Half of the book is Michelle recounting her history--a tale filled with pain and sorrow. Aaron becomes angry that Michelle won't let him take another bloodslave. He wants someone to be close with, besides Michelle. He loves her, but he wants more. Hearing her tale of woe, Aaron becomes convinced that creating a "harem" of bloodslaves would make sense--he could tend to all of them, and modern medicine could keep them alive for months or years. This way he could have relationships and kinship with others.

They argue and Michelle leaves--only to be captured by Mike Jamison. This dude has followed them across the world int he hope of becoming a vampire. He (quite literally) steals Michelle's blood while she sleeps and injests it. Roiling with blood fever, he's at Michelle's mercy when she awakes to learn of his treachery.

Their encounter leaves Michelle and Jamison nearly dead. Aaron is enraged he couldn't save his master/lover. He's agonized when her psychic link disappears--and almost goes feral with grief. He is "rescued" by Urvashi, a fallen angel--who now controls him.

So, one master to another, but he still longs for Michelle. He cries out for her while asleep, and when joining with Urvashi, much to the angel's chagrin. Then, when he goes to clear out the room he shared with Michelle he learns a life changing secret--and now he has to convince Urvashi to take on another vampire.

Again, there is no shortage of sex in this book. The pace is brisk, with interesting turns. I felt a little vexed with the long tale of Michelle's years in Paris around WWII, but it was still interesting. And, sets the scene for lots of tension in the next book. M/F encounters only.

This is the third book in The Nightlife series, a wonderful series that I have to say is becoming one of my favorites. It has everything I like: an interesting plot, paranormal creatures, real ‘non sparkly’ vampires, hot and sexy scenes and leaves me panting for more!

Vampire master Michelle and her fledgling Aaron Pilan, leaving behind the slaughter in Las Vegas taking a nightly transatlantic flight to the city of Light and Love, Paris.

In Las Vegas, Aaron made the costly mistake of taking a bloodslave, Anastasia, married her during a crazy night. Her death has separated them, Aaron’s dark predatory side feels the need to have another bloodslave, because he misses Anastasia.

Michelle tries to show the nightlife of Paris and everything seems to flow quiet wonderfully, until she opens her mind, heart and soul, showing him through her memories, her bloody, dark, gritty tale of survival under the German occupation of Paris during the Second World War.

All the revelations cause the final confrontation between them, plus the Investigator that knows too much and followed them from Las Vegas has his own plans and attacks them when they are the most vulnerable.

The lnvestigator is not the only one that follows them around and wants something from them, no of course not, in Paris resides a mystical, beautiful and very jealous creature that if it had put its eyes on you then you’re lost.

What is this creature, what are the Investigator’s plans, what happens with Aaron and Michelle, and much more you can discover behind the breathtaking Eiffel Tour cover of The Nightlife Paris.

The Nightlife continues in London. Expected publication date: August 2013

WARNING: 18+. Sexual content. Savagery. Blood. Gore. War content.

Son, the devil is in the details. It’s the little things that count. You get them right and everything else falls into place.

Well, isn’t that the damn truth! I’m not sure the characters in this series got that memo…

Decidedly darker and somewhat disturbing, THE NIGHTLIFE: PARIS takes the series for a turn towards the dark side and I loved every minute of it! As a lover of the series, I have been pleased with all installments, but THE NIGHTLIFE: PARIS is definitely my favorite to date.

THE NIGHTLIFE: PARIS begins with Michelle and Aaron fleeing the debacle that was Las Vegas and all the chaos they left in their wake. Shortly after their arrival in Paris, Michelle decides it is time to share the story of her life with Aaron and how she became the Vampire Master she is today. Make no mistake about it, her tale is dark and somewhat sad, but it sheds a necessary light on why she is the way she is which I believe is important for not only Aaron, but also the reader.

Although a large portion of the story is about Michelle’s journey, several new storylines unfold; setting the stage for another promising installment that is sure to follow. New characters are introduced that will certainly bring another level of pandemonium to the series. I can’t wait to see what author Travis Luedke has in store for us!

You know, sometimes you pick up a book by an author you read frequently and know what you are going to get, a good story that may or may not sound like the same basic story you have read before, but with different characters. Then other times, you find an author like Travis Luedke who rolls the dice and takes a chance; with each new book there is a TOTALLY DIFFERENT vibe and so far, it has been working for him! So, if paranormal romance packed with action and chaos tickles your fancy, then you really must read THE NIGHTLIFE SERIES. The series is best when read in order, which is how I recommend you read them, but the books could be read as standalones and still be enjoyed.

I skipped The Nightlife: New York, though I really am going to have to go back and read it, and really liked The Nightlife: Las Vegas, and I loved Blood Slave, so I was thinking going into this I was going to like it a lot. But, it has historical content, and that usually doesn't do it for me, so I was slightly skeptical. Well, make me a believer, why don't you?

So, I really enjoy Michelle. She's a Vampire, she's a slut, a whore, and she doesn't apologize to anyone for it. She does apologize for being a murderer, but that's ok, it seems worth apologizing for. I enjoy how she lives life with a gusto, and tries to minimize the damage she causes, but when it goes bad, she isn't afraid to get her claws dirty.

Then, there is Aaron, who has grown on me. Originally, I wasn't all in on Aaron, though I did enjoy him with Anastasia in Vegas, but he's not bad. He's not as interesting to me as Michelle, but he's getting there.

The plot follows our hero and heroines journey of discovery of each other, and an investigator who is intent on stealing immortality for himself. We get Michelle's pulse-pounding backstory, which I must say had me fanning myself for air, because um, can't someone chain me up in a dungeon and ... anyway, it was hot, and tragic, and sexy and nasty all at once, and I loved every second of it.

This book was outstanding. I'm putting the author on my autobuy list.

I originally became a fan of Travis' with his first book in the series The Nightlife, New York and was enamored with the characters. The story immediately drew me in and I was hooked on the series. That said, this story was a bit more difficult for me to get into.

The novel opens with Aaron and Michelle fleeing from Vegas after what had happened to Anastasia in the last book. Aaron desires another 'pet' and in doing so causes a conflict with Michelle. Michelle then explains to Aaron the tragic events of her past and what she had to endure to become who she is. Once she recounts her story, the creepy investigator from book #1 resurfaces and his plan comes to a head forcing Michelle and Aaron to deal with his agenda. I don’t want to give anything away as I encourage anyone who loves a sensual suspense-filled novel to find out for themselves what happens, but I can say I look forward to where Travis takes the story in the next installment.

Overall the story was good after the first 30 pages or so, but I was distracted by timeline issues, minor grammatical problems, and dialogue confusion throughout the novel. Though I must say, Travis' eloquent phrasing quickly drew me back into the story, so I can't say the few issues I found made me want to put it down. Travis has an uncanny ability to articulate some of the most provocative scenes into a tastefully sensual experience for his readers. Most of my friend’s being female, I can see how they would react to his genre would be nothing less than ecstasy.

I would definitely recommend the series to anyone who enjoys a provocative, lustful, suspense that keeps you guessing until the very end.

THE GOOD

The Nightlife: Paris is the third book in a series focused on vampires Aaron Pilan and Michelle. It is, by far, the best written of the series. I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books. The third blew my mind.

It grabbed me from the first page. However, what makes The Nightlife: Paris so engaging is the reveal of Michelle's back story. Luedke changes Point of View to first person. We see the world through Michelle's eyes as she meets the monster who turns her into a vampire. Her past mixes brutality and hope, violation and eroticism. We see Michelle's humanity and monstrosity. We pity her, cheer for her, and scream at her for bad decisions.

Hyperbole drives me mental. I hate reading reviews like "Best book ever written" and "Just as Good as Tolkien." I don't believe them. However, I realized halfway through The Nightlife: Paris that this was indeed one of the best written vampire books I've ever read. I have no problem putting it side by side with Interview with a Vampire and I Am Legend. It truly is that good.

THE BAD

When I finished reading The Nightlife: Paris I LITERALLY screamed. I was having so much fun with the book I couldn't believe it was over. The new book is scheduled for release in September. That's too far away for my liking.

CONCLUSION

Buy this book and read it. Buy it now.

Whatever preconceptions you have about Nightlife Paris, throw them away. This third book in Travis Luedke’s Nightlife series is an exemplar on character development and taking a series arc to a whole new level .

The graphic and brutal nature of some of the content does curtail the erotic nature of this novel, but there are still plenty of sex scenes to scintillate and tease, and these two vampires certainly know how to attack their loving with violent enthusiasm.

It is the story that proves most absorbing.

Michelle’s life story is truly painful to read. It hooked me in and nailed me to my laptop as the author relentlessly explores the psychological roots of this woman’s character and choices. Aaron’s reaction to her story is shocking, and Michael Jamison (their stalker from Vegas) takes full advantage of their situation with unexpected and extraordinary consequences.

No reader can possibly predict what happens in the fallout. The twist in this tale is superb and opens up a myriad of possibilities. The teasing hints for the series ahead will keep you waiting eagerly for the next book set in London. I can’t wait!

Thank you, Travis. It's been a pleasure helping to beta this story.

This is the third book in this series but the first one I read. This can be read as stand alone and I do not think I missed any world building because this book made sense from the beginning. I will be going back to read the others in this series; book one is The Nightlife: New York and is always free if you decide to start at the beginning.

I love this Vampire world! It is sexy but sometimes brutal and these two Vampires prefer to give pleasure rather then cause pain and suffering. However, this was not always true for Michelle.

Michelle is a very old Vampire she was turned at the beginning of WWII by an evil Vampire, and her back story was bloody and brutal for her and for her blood slaves. I really liked this glimpse into the past it really makes you understand Michelle's current views on blood slaves.

Aaron is a strong willed man stuck under the power Michelle has over him. He loves Michelle but does not like being ordered by her. Can Aaron and Michelle find their happiness in their Nightlife world? I loved the twist at the end and look forward to the next book in the Nightlife series.

WOW. One word and that describes Nightlife Paris, it totally blew me away. Its so much darker, edgier, full of sadness, anger, jealousy and love. Aaron and Michelle have developed a lot in this third instalment to the point where Aaron isn't the same man he once was. We get to find out about Michelle's past which is hard to read, in parts its horrific and how I felt about Michelle in the beginning is different now. It is rather hard to write a review without giving anything away. But with new characters and Aaron and Michelle growing and becoming stronger, Nightlife Paris is one to definitely read. There's so much I want to know about I can't wait for Nightlife London. Emotional roller-coaster that will have you gasping. Its kick arse and sexy. I'm a blood slave to this well written series.

Oh Travis...what have you done? I know what you did...you wrote a fantastic series of books about vampires, sex, drugs, and the like. Who doesn't want sex, drugs, prostitutes, dirty cops, and oh yes, sexy vampires in their books? You are NUTS if you answered NO to that question!! It wasn't rhetorical!!

I am writing this review on the series as a whole vs book by book.

This series is about, yes, everything I mentioned above but so much more. These books were seriously written as if written by a woman! And I really do mean that nicely..did you have a woman sitting next to you when you were writing Travis? LOL

The characters that Travis created for this series are historical! There is so much going on all the time! He is not lying when he says it's never boring! Between the corrupt cops and the prostitution and the start of the life for Michelle and Aaron in the beginning of the series, there is never a dull moment. There is something very unique about the way Travis ties everything together without there being SO much going on that you lose what is happening.

As the story continues on to Las Vegas, you begin to see more about the characters. Travis uses the next book for character development; not only how they relate to each other but how they relate to the people around them. Travis adds in some very interesting differences between what we consider "normal undead" vampires and his "living" vampires. I didn't want to put it down and couldn't wait for the next one.

As we move to book 3, we learn more about Michelle and what her back story is. And let me tell you, grab a tissue. Let me warn you, this book is very dark. So not only does it show that Travis has done a phenomenal job of writing Adult Urban Fantasy up to this point, but he almost if not just a wee bit, steps into Horror and I LOVED it!!!

The last book is more of a stand alone book and even though it was written very well and had a very gripping story, I kind of was lost in it as I had already fallen in love with the characters up to this point and this was something totally different. It is very fast-paced and keeps you interested.

All in all, Travis, your books are exceptional. You haven't read Adult Urban Fantasy if you haven't read these books. They are gripping, emotional, steamy, adventurous and fast-paced. They will keep you on the edge of your seat.

5 out of 5 stars!!!

Another great book in this omnibus! This one is my second favorite so far, book #2 being my favorite. I thoroughly enjoyed Michelle telling her story of her wretched past, such a sad and vulgar one, too. It was great seeing Aaron love her so much still after she finally opened herself up to her history. Julian was a maniac, repulsive, heartless asshole that abused, raped, and used Michelle among many other men and women, and then murdered them. I thought to myself, 'How did she ever end up getting away from him?' Later on in the story, when the truth was revealed, I was shocked.

It would've been really interesting for Michael to be incorporated more into the story than what he was, but that's ok. I found it surprising when he stole Michelle's blood- never in the beginning of this book, or in the last Book did he ever express interest in becoming a vampire. I knew he was following them to learn about their lifestyles and so on, I was baffled when he pulled the stunt that he did. Nothing short of genius, that's for sure.

Luedke, yet again, does an amazing job writing this book. What a page turner! Who doesn't love sexy, intriguing, lusty, vampiric romance with sex that every grown person with a pulse and a normal brain dreams of. I have said this before and I'm sure I will say it many times over and over again,I have a real respect and appreciation for indie authors. It takes a lot to write such phenomenal books such as the Nightlife Omnibus. I know good editors aren't free and it takes many man hours, rewriting, reading, brainstorming, etc to come up with one book alone- let alone a series of them. Two thumbs up, Mr. Luedke, don't quit doing what your doing- you have sheer taken that others dream of. I love reading your work!

I love the Nightlife series because it it always something a little different while at the same time being familiar. The locations change but you can be sure that or two trouble magnets, Michelle and Aaron, are going to be in the center of something. The writing always pulls me in from the beginning and holds me until I finally reach that last page. There are several things happening in this book and they are played out perfectly by our two favorite people along with someone we met briefly before and a mysterious someone shadowing them. A lot to think about and absorb, which was great for me since it gave me some insight into Michelle and her motivations.

Aaron and Michelle have gone to Paris, Michelle's home and a place she always returns to. They are unaware that they have been followed from the States and the massacre in the desert by Michael Jamison, a detective who has figured out what they are and is plotting to be turned himself. Michelle and Aaron are a bit at odds because Aaron wants another blood slave to replace his Ana and Michelle does not want to risk it again. When they finally go to Michelle's ancestral home and Aaron learns about her wealth as well as the story of how she was turned he acts out and drives her away. By the time he realizes how bad he treated her it is to late.

This one does not have as much sex or violence as the previous books but it does give a story that is sad and heartbreaking in places. It made me feel for Michelle and dislike Aaron for a lot of reasons for being so insensitive. A good entry and just makes me ready to move on to the next story. They are going to be doing some damage next time, Michael is loose and causing havoc.

4.5 Stars!
18+ content, violence and gore.

I liked this one best of all the Nightlife series, actually the best of all the Travis Luedke books I've read so far (I've read Blood Slave too). I really enjoyed the peek/throwback in time to World War II.

This book starts right after Aaron and Michelle leave Las Vegas because of the slaughter that happened there and the death of Anastasia, who had been Aaron's playmate/blood slave/wife.

In Paris, Michelle reveals her past, and then we're transported back in time to Paris when Michelle was born in 1915, and growing up the beloved daughter of a landowner and winemaker, living in a mansion. Then World War II came around, and things changed...

The story of how Michelle became a vampire is sad, how she was tortured by the sadistic Julian. However, she got her revenge!

An investigator has been trailing after Michelle and Aaron since Las Vegas however, and he causes havoc in their lives, as he lusts after their vampire powers and wants to become a vampire.

Another character/goddess is introduced who unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your fantasy) resembles Kim Kardashian. Things change again for the better for Aaron after this.

I am not usually into characters where the heroine is the dominant in the relationship. I really enjoy my Alpha males. However, I thought I would give this series a shot, cause it sounded really intriguing.

Aaron is actually a really fun snarky guy to read, I preferred his POV most of the time. I was really rooting for him and Michelle to work their unconventional relationship out. I am a total sucker for HEA.

Each book takes you to a new local with this couple, their relationship progresses throughout the series and takes many twists and turns. Mr Luedke has created a full and colorful world! I love the attention to detail and continuity he shows through the series. So many wonderful supporting characters and dynamic plots. The pacing was beautiful, quick and active story line.

Yummy steamy action, your girlie parts will be screaming after a few scenes!! Oh boy, these supernaturals know how to do the hot and heavy!!

This is one of those series where you follow two characters through several books. That is not typically my favorite thing, I like getting new love stories and updates on past characters. Still this is a entertaining read that had me jumping for the next book.

Warning, these are not fru-fru happy stories. Vamp life is dark and dirty at times. You will encounter the seedy underbellies of the cities more often than not. Oh, you might also want to have a box of tissues hand for when it gets emotional.

While Vamps are not my favorites I really enjoyed this series and can't wait o check out more from this author!

My Rant: I was not prepared for Night Life Paris. This book completely made my heart ache for the characters. In this book Michelle Aaron are morning the loss of Anastasia. Thats not the only tragedy that we have to witness, we are taken into Michelle's past. Horrible past and you see that the exposure of these incidents are so raw that it changes the characters and they unite more. Just when you think they could be at peace a new villain steps in and now Aaron and Michelle have to protect themselves from him. In this novel we are taken on a roller coster ride of emotions and events that keep you hooked into the story. This book is quite the page tuner and you don't get tired of reading of Michelle and Aaron because you are growing with them . This book takes the cake and I think that this book will be my favorite of all the books in the series because of the heartache and the raw emotions. Travis writes this book with such a flair that you cannot let this book or the characters go and that says a lot for me. The storyline to the previous books were great but this book completely is greater. I am addicted to this series completely addicted and I am moving on to my next fix.
FTC Disclosure: I received this book for free from the author, editor, publisher, or Promo Host. This is my honest opinion about this book and I did not receive any monetary compensation for writing this review nor was I obligated to write a positive one.

The Nightlife: Paris takes our vampires, Michelle & Aaron straight from the carnage of Las Vegas to Paris. We see Aaron struggling to deal with Ana's death & his feelings towards his vampire master, Michelle. She has put her foot down on the subject of NO MORE BLOOD SLAVES. In this third installment of Luedke's Nightlife series we get up close & personal with how Michelle was turned. We see why she is the way she is. It truly was not easy for her at all. Having an abusive & mentally deranged Master & all of it set in WW2. We see why she has told Aaron that they cannot have any more Blood Slaves. After hearing Michelle's story & her reasons, Aaron feels betrayed & even disgusted with Michelle. He leaves but little do they know someone has been hunting them, in search of what they have, Immortality. A mess later, Aaron & Michelle's bond is severed. Aaron is lost, oh, but how he is found by an ancient goddess, who unwillingly gave her blood through his bite. He's different now. And while he does find Michelle, this isn't the happily ever after you're expecting. Nope, not at all. They're on a mission to find and kill the idiot who severed Michelle's and Aaron's bond and all the while, the goddess isn't done with Aaron just yet. This book was heartbreaking, sexy, bloody, and fangtastic. Just another page turner leaving you on the edge of your seat, wanting more as always.

After the events in Las Vegas, the third installment of the Nightlife Series, by Travis Luedke, has vampires Michelle and Aaron in Paris. While Michelle is excited to show Aaron her homeland, Aaron seems as though he’s teetering on the edge of madness after the loss of Anastasia. Michelle finally tells Aaron of the cruel way in which she became a vampire and was treated horribly by her master. While it would seem that sharing her love of and life in Paris would bring them closer together, Paris brings only pain to the two of them, both emotionally and physically.
In The Nightlife: Paris, it was refreshing to see that Aaron genuinely grieved Anastasia’s loss, rather than just treating her as though that relationship was disposable. It made Aaron more likeable, which balanced out nicely with the difficult time he was having controlling his emotions and urges in throughout this book. It was also interesting to learn how Michelle overcame the desolation and despair of her vampiric beginnings to become the woman she is today with Aaron, a strong, confident, and competent vampire. Just when you think that the book couldn’t be any better than the last Luedke throws a curve ball at the reader and it gets even better. The Nightlife: Paris will definitely not disappoint.

I was provided a copy of this book by the Author for an honest review.

O.M.G. I just finish reading this book, and I have to say that I am so in love with this series, but what can I say I love anything and everything that has to do with vampires, I am gone keep this short since I don't want to give anything away.

The story continue with Michelle and Aaron, they just got themselves tickets, to go to Paris to get a new start, and to forget about everything that had happen in Vegas, before they bore the plain Aaron wants a piece of the woman, that sold him the tickets, but Michelle is against it, she know that he has needs, but she also know that they don't bring them home with them, in the mean while the have an investigator as a stalker, he follow them to Paris from Vegas, he wants to capture everything that they do, in the mean time Aaron is seeking to find another blood slave, but Michelle is still against it, that when she open up to him and tell him about her past, and the investigator will surprise you with what he does in Paris.

I really am enjoying reading this series, and I am loving the characters, I said it before I am saying it again, Author Travis Luedke THANK YOU for this awesome series I am loving it.

After everything that went down in Las Vegas Aaron is struggling. The loss of Anastasia, Michelle's secrets, and trying to control the "predator". Michelle feels as if she is losing Aaron so she decides to show/tell Aaron her story...her dark sadistic story. Aaron is shocked and appalled at how Michelle lived it pushes him further away. With everything going on between them they do not realize someone is hunting them...watching them...wanting Michelle's blood for himself.

I don't think I can take much more Travis Luedke! Will Michelle and Aaron ever get a break! If it's not one thing it's another with these two. Between almost dying in the desert, losing Anastasia, and leaving a blood bath in Las Vegas; Aaron and Michelle are trying to move on. What they don't know is that they are being followed by a private detective set on catching Michelle and taking her blood. The tension between Aaron and Michelle is heartbreaking because there is so many secrets between them. After reading Paris I have found a new respect for Michelle and all she has gone through. I have become addicted and want more from Michelle and Aaron.

In The Nightlife: Paris, Aaron has left Las Vegas with a broken heart, and Michelle seems to decide that it is time to start telling him about her past, but will he still look at her the same way once he realizes what she was in her past?
What neither Aaron or Michelle knows is that they were followed from Las Vegas, by a man that really wants to get a hold of Michelle at ant cost. He wants he blood, and he'll stop at nothing to get it.
As Michelle tells Aaron her life story, he is shocked and horrified by the things that she has done in her past. Can he ever reconcile the Michelle he knows with the Michelle she used to be?
When Michelle is taken and Aaron comes to find her she is dying. Can they survive death and separation?
When a new person finds Aaron, his life takes a complete turn as he is mourning for Michelle.
Can they all learn to live together, can Michelle survive what the man from Las Vegas does to her?
You have to read this to find that out.
This part of Aaron and Michelle's story was much darker than the other stories in the series. Kudos to Travis for putting some history into this story as well.

*This book is not for young readers. There are some very graphic and crude screens so it's not for everyone. If you like Erotic Paranormal then you will love this book.

Michelle and Aaron escape to Paris after leaving Las Vegas and the brutal death of Aaron's bloodslaved wife. Now in Paris we start to really see Michelle's background. I was heartbroken by the struggles during WWII in Paris under the German occupation and anyone with a heart would be too. I couldn't put this book down because I just had to see what would happen next. Keep a look out for the investigator/watcher, he is waiting to make a move... I can't believe this part but I won't give out any spoilers.

I cannot predict anything that Travis Luedke writes. Thanks for your wonderful, dark, gritty, unpredictable, and erotic books!

Who doesn't love that je ne sais quoi that post war Paris has? I certainly do and Travis Luedke certainly delivered in this third installment of a fantastic series. More gore , more blood, more thrills. Brilliantly narrated , Aaron and Michelle leave not a stone unturned in the highly sexual and bloody world they are in.
Being this the third book I have read from this author, I can confidently say the writing style is consistent, unique, engaging and well-researched. It makes for a very vivid reading, the type where you feel like you're spying on the characters as they go about. The steady character development is truly fascinating as well.
Brilliant writing by an author that has breathed new life into the genre and made it even bloodier and better.

I did read this book out of order from the others in the series, but it was great! I am always looking for action packed books like The Nightlife: Paris gave me. It was very easy to go along with Michelle as she was telling about her past. Not trying to give anything away but this book does go into a great detail about her past it made sense to me when I started to read the other books, some of the details may be too much for some people to handle.

If you are looking for something to keep you on the edge of your seat and filled with the promise of action and romance then this is the book for you.
