Bought this book at Cairo airport before my flight to Dubai for 70 L.E since the bookstore guy recommended it for me. Was it worth it? The amount of time spent reading: NOT since I finished the book in a couple of hours during my flight. However, I love Amy Mowafi's witty style writing (made me laughing during the whole flight from Cairo to Dubai to Indonesia). First impression from just the first chapter of this book: SHE IS totally NOT ARAB (which I found out later she has a strong British background). You will love this book if you are interested in high society (female) Arab-Egyptian culture through western perspective by an Arab-Egyptian "Made In Egypt". Amy Mowafi's vision is not new but is revolutionary and courageous (to be applied) in Arab countries such as Egypt and Emirates.
