21 books78 followersI'm in my late 30's and was born in Salford, Manchester. I started writing just almost 3 years ago. In January 2012 self published Louie Has Landed 'The Early Days' and in February 2012 Louie Has Landed 'The Second Encounter' was born for others to enjoy the good times and the bad times which relationships can bring.
This series was a story told from the heart and I had no idea what I was getting into with the whole author business; all I knew that I had a story that was crying to come out of me, and it did!! I told my stories the way it was and who I was back then, I took the bull by the horns not worrying about critics and what other people would think of me. They where about me and the feelings I had at that time, but once I started writing I couldn't stop and my writing then became a passion and a gift that I never knew I had. I had authors praising me for my work and being able to hold a great story together that's very open and full of so much passion; they felt everything I wanted the reader to feel. It wasn't about grammar or what mistakes any critics would pick up on, it was my heart and being able to hold a great story together. This was a huge achievement of its own for me.
When I first started to write these stories, they were meant to be one full story, but unfortunately the heart just kept writing and by the time I had finished I had to make the story into two books because of the maximum word count that you was aloud to upload at the time. I had only gone over by 16.900 words, 'Oh dear' I then had to go back two the drawing board to make them into two great stories.
My main focus has been on the dialogue and keeping the story flowing at a much faster pace and getting everything as perfect as it should be. I have surprised myself with how far I have come and how much I have learnt and improved dramatically along the way.
How I became a writer is in my stories, and when the readers read that, they where impressed with the talent that was there. Yes the stories needed some TLC, but for me reliving it was hard enough to go back to, but I am delighted to say that I did take the bull by the horns again, and I now bring you the full story in one fantastic novel. Louie Has landed 'The Early Days' and Louie Has Landed 'The Second Encounter' has been reborn to bring you 'Passion' and anyone who reads it will see there is plenty of that in this fantastic story, but all in a good way of course.

Entries were collected for erotic short stories containing a 'Turkey Slap'and the best of those stories were added to this free book for our reader's pleasure. Please enjoy and then check out each author's. My short story won a place in this ebook, this gives my readers a taste of my fiction mind other than my none fiction mind.
My next projects are well on the way, one is ficton and the other is again none fiction. Escape is a great thing and that's what I do when I write, I feel writing my experiences and how I've dealt with them, may open a lot of reader's eyes as it has been doing.
My writing has led me to cross paths with some great people and I've made many great friends who I've learned a lot from. I'm always open to new inspiration and I can take constructive criticism. I've tried to expel the negative influences that dragged me down over the years and to always try to stay positive.
I enjoy going to the gym weight training, this always helps me to take my mind of things and concentrate on my body other than my writing and work.
It's amazing that people have connected to the realism and the truth behind my stories. My story is gritty, funny and real. I've tried to keep the dialogue as authentic and as truthful as possible.
I've learned so much from my journey and I hope to continu

Passion is the combined books, Louie Has Landed – the Early Days and Louie Has Landed – the Second Encounter. It is written at a faster pace making the story that much more exciting with never a dull moment. I loved this story as it is a true story of the author’s love affair with a woman he met at a club. This is a story of love and deception. The author did a great job of describing his affection toward this woman, Sarah, who probably also loved him but was a chronic liar and so wrapped up in deception. She was quite a master at it. Even though Mark had feelings in his gut that Sarah was telling lies, he forgave so much since he was head over heels in love with her. This book is a page turner and I had a hard time putting it down as I wanted to see how this relationship ended up. The author has painted vivid pictures of his characters and you feel a personal connection with them. You really do want to smack the heck out of Sarah and hug Mark. It is difficult not to get emotionally involved reading about a person’s life when he so realistically puts his feelings on the line. It is so well written that you share in his happiness, his turmoil, his anger, and his sorrow. What this woman puts him through is more than the average person could or should endure. This is a story of love and deception written from a man’s point of view and the author’s personal life lesson. He did it freely and honestly, opening his life and emotions for everyone to read. I applaud his courage. This woman that he gave his heart to broke it so severely that it would have destroyed most. But instead, he accepted that people enter your life for a reason and even those who hurt you can turn something in your life into a positive, which this woman, despite all her deception has done. There are events in your life that make you stronger having gone through them. There are people who through their negative actions get us motivated.. I highly recommend this book. It is different than others, and well worth reading and you will value the experience you get out of it. This is a very promising author and I would welcome the opportunity to read more from him. Keep writing!

This is a story rewrite of two of this authors first books, Louie Has Landed The Early Days and the Second Encounter. It's a story of the author and the relationships he's had with women. It's full of love and deception at its highest level. The feelings he had for these ladies and what they put him through was intense enough to wanna write a story. I can't imagine what he was feeling reliving it through words written for everyone to read. I'm sure it was his outlet as it is for most authors. After going through a up and down relationship that was abusive at times, you have a hard time trusting people. Mark meets Sarah at a pub he was at with his friend, he thought she's was beautiful. He couldn't help but look her way every now and then. There eyes caught and Sarah walked over to Mark and there banter between them was a hit from the beginning. They exchanged numbers and texted. Mark couldn't keep his excitement about Sarah to himself. His friends reminded him what he just went through and to take it slow with Sarah. Will Mark listen, find out by downloading your copy today. While I found the story very intriguing and full of fun, crazy at times and couldn't wait to turn the page to see what's happening next, I could only give it 4 stars because it has editing issues. That didn't take away any of my pleasure while reading this awesome story. Thank you Kevin for sharing what was a hard but true life for you with all of us. I would recommend this read to anyone who likes a fun at times sad, crazy kind of read.

Passion by Kevin Swarbrick, written in the form of constant conversations with friends, lovers et al. Not even a couple of seconds chat with a barman goes unreported. This constant "natter" detracted from the Passion promised in the title. Mark and Sarah meet in a club, and Mark is immediately besotted. He fails to notice all the signs that Sarah is using him and ignores the warnings from older and wiser friends.
A story based on the true story of perhaps the most important relationship of the author's life, I wanted to like it, to feel strongly about the characters, to be involved in this intimate soul baring diary/blog/novel - but continually felt on the outside urging him to get over it.
It takes courage and self-belief to write about your feelings and failings, your hopes and dreams and ultimate good (and bad)choices, and Kevin Swarbrick is to be commended for that, and I look forward to seeing more of his work (although stronger editing would improve the experience for the reader.)
This book was gifted to me by the author and this is an honest review.
