The third-person telling of this short story just didn't work for me. Actually, the story itself did nothing for me. I was removed from the characters in a way that felt bizarre and the dual voice didn't help. I had this idea that we were going to discover that this was all in the wife's mind, or even that perhaps there was no couple and this was all being imagined in some woman's mind. It felt very creative writing assignment-ish, as if the sex was meant only to shock.

This was a free download from amazon and as I have just finished the last page I think my mouth also closed for the first time.
I haven’t read Natalie Dae before and boy did this book take me by surprise.
How do you begin to ask your husband that you want something different? Not just straight forward sex but hard, dominating sex, to give him permission to let his inner beast out and change him from that sweet tender husband to someone who was pushed to the edge of his control
Erotic doesn’t even begin to describe this story. It is told from the first and second perspectives – her and him - husband and wife whilst they are in a role play. I loved the way Natalie Dae lets us into their innermost thoughts – her letting him know what she wants and him reacting to what she is asking him to do.
This short story is wicked but still manages to capture the emotion between husband and wife. Natalie Dae has a very descriptive and unique writing voice. The husband and wife characters are vivid, the scenes are vivid and the sex was hotter than hot.
Powerful writing that has left me wanting more from this author.

We've all been in relationships where we're too scared to say exactly what we want in the bedroom and this couple are no different. Despite an active sex life, this married couple finally open up to each other and explore their fantasies.
Although the sex is great, the wife longs for her husband to take control and push the boundaries of their lovemaking, an idea that he finds a little hard to comprehend at first. She wants it hard and fast, to be used and abused and treat like a whore. He sees her as his precious, fragile little angel whom he doesn't want to hurt. After a slight build up, they embark on their wildest fantasy and both are surprised by their enjoyment of it all.
I really enjoyed Hard! It's such a simple story and one many couples will probably be able to relate to .....I know I can! The sex is hard and raw and written in a way which allows you to visualise every action as though you're in the room sharing the experience with them.
If you're looking for a quick read that gets you a bit hot under the collar, then this is for you! ;)

When she wants it hard he gives it to her. He is afraid of hurting her but in reality he is so turned on he thinks he won’t be able to stop.
If you have read MORE by Lily Harlem then you will love this book also.
Another short and sexy read about getting what she really wants in the bedroom.
Definite quick read but left me wanting more.

Hard is a short story by Lily Harlem and Natalie Dae. It's smutty, erotic, kinky and exciting. It's not for everyone due to its brevity and the fact that it's written in second person. But if you don't mind that, then this erotic quickie will definitely get you hot under the collar.

Why is rough sex considered so out of the normal? When she says harder, she means HARDER! This is a lovely little erotic piece where a husband and wife are finally on the same page. Quick and easy arousing read for a bit of foreplay.
