Mickey acquires an unlikely ally, whilst Amanda discovers Jennifer’s long-standing alliance. A face from the past seems set to thwart Alex’s plans, and Linda wants an explanation. Mickey makes a phone call whose effect is to prove more far-reaching than he could have imagined. His third psychiatric consultation leaves him far from reassured; meanwhile, the net is beginning to tighten around him.

Michelle seeks relationship advice before making a momentous decision, and Amanda’s auditionee makes a quite unanticipated impression. Jennifer has an epiphany, whilst elsewhere, an entirely different kind of revelation takes place. As the wedding rehearsal gets under way, the time has come for some home truths, some tall tales, some soul-searching, and a final gambit on which everything rests.

Alex takes a ride to an unintended destination while Mickey has a very one-sided conversation with Linda. Jim comes up with one last plan, but if Stone’s discovery comes to fruition, it may already be too late.
