But I like to explore the unrealistic end of the scale in my writing.
Please don't read my stories expecting realistic scenario's, they are pure fantasy - products of my over-active imagination. I don't propose to be the greatest writer ever to grace paper, I do try my best though. Sometimes I accept it's perhaps not pulitzer prize material.
However, I do have a vivid and twisted imagination... And I think I understand the submissive male mind... (My boyfriend is about as submissive as they come.)

I have a bit of a mixed review for this one. The story is scorching hot, incredibly kinky and seriously pushes the boundaries. I would love to go to Matilda's club, I'd actually love to see my fella, fully feminized and taken on stage by a dominant guy. This isn't high literature though, there's not massive depth to the characters, just enough to give you a bit of a feel for them. There's also some blatant self-promotion in the story, as the characters talk about reading Sabrina's other books in the story! Which was a bit distracting and spoiled the immersion for me. The main thing that stood out though was the unashamed, abject kinkiness. Sabrina has a wild imagination and dares to write what others daren't even think.
I do have another gripe, and it's a pretty major one. I have two reviews for this, one for the download of just part 1 and one for the part 1 of the entire trilogy download. Now my fella got part one on a free download, and liked it so waited until the trilogy was out and bought it all in one file. The version of this story that is downloaded on it's own is inferior, it's riddled with errors and typo's. It's still steaming hot sexy, but there are so many errors it's distracting. You have to go back and re-read bits twice. Most of these problems have been fixed in the same part of the trilogy, so I would give the part 1 only download a '3 star' and the same part in the trilogy a 5 star. It really is good, as is the rest of the trilogy, but I strongly recommend getting the whole trilogy in one hit.

Marcy seemed to have enjoyable it, she only complained about the taste.

I´ve enjoyed "The Game" very much.
It is a very good piece of work. The characters are interesting and very real. The desire for new experiences is well described as the doubts and fears of any unknown situation. Miss Mountford skillfully achieves to take the reader into the new world that the characters are discovering.
Even I´m not fond of homosexual scenes I must admit I ejoyed the first game very much. The scenes where the slaves are being prepared for the show are really good, I´ve enjoyed them both a lot. And I experienced that wonderful feeling that, at the end, I really want to keep reading what happen with the main characters; specially Grace and Marcie... I might have found a lesbian new realationship there between lines.
I liked how talented Miss Mountford included her other stories into this one, it´s a nice twist.
I definitely recommend "The Game". Read it and enjoy it.

The more I read of this authors work the better it seems to get - all things that excite me personally seem to be bread & butter to SJM, this story of a couple, a friend they meet at a club & the games that follow kept me turning page after page long after I thought I'd become irresistibly aroused & soon had me way beyond boiling point but unable to stop reading ad I was so fascinated by what the delightfully deviant characters would get up to next - I ordered another SJM novel as soon as I finished!!!

This book would be better if the author told us what the characters were thinking, not just about what was happening. If you don't care to know what the characters are thinking and just want to read about the kinky, dirty activities you've fantasized about seeing happen at a BDSM club then this book is for you!

We open this story with Marcy and Jessie reading erotica and getting all hot and bothered. They switch dominant and submissive roles, neither is interested in their own gender and they plan a double-date with Grace and James. But James cannot come.
Right away, Grace invites them to a fetish club. They meet Matilda, who recognizes Marcy and Jessie as submissive and proposes a game of chance, the loser gets spit-roasted on stage. Jessie allows the odds to be stacked against them in the wager.
What bothers me in this scenario is that no safewords are allowed or provided. Good for fantasy but not realistic in a public play space. Aftercare is provided.
The next weekend, another wager is proposed and neither Marcy nor Jessie is willing to bow out. Now, there is a free club membership in the offing, to be the star attraction. Believably, Marcy suggests Jessie is a chicken when he attempts to demur. The wager is on.
Jessie reflects, “in the space of two weeks they seemed to have suddenly gone from living a fairly vanilla lifestyle, only fantasizing about fetish and bdsm and such things-to recreating Sabrina Jen Mountford’s ‘The Male Bridesmaid’ or worse…”
The author is blatantly using this book as an advertisement for her other books, but this does not detract from the story.
