Volume 7 of Strike the Blood is a bit of a filler book that gives the series some more background about some characters, and setting up the future of the series.
Because of this the story jumps around a little bit to before Volume 1, to present and then back to a year before Volume 1. I didn't mind to jumping around soo much as to the order of the book, and felt that it could have be ordered differently.
Overall this was a filler book to get the series moving in the next volume, but well worth the read for fans.
