This is I think, the final book for Gabe and Dom. I really enjoyed it and I'm a little relieved. I was very uncertain how their story would end because I could not see Dom ever allowing his moment of weakness where he shows Gabe how he really feels to last more than that night. These two make me tired. Gabe's innocence is wonderful at first but then you just want to scream at him for being so damn naive. Stephen Dominick is an arrogant, controlling ass at best. I know underneath it all is a very fragile man, that has erected walls to protect and conceal his insecurities and vulnerabilities, but I just want someone to kick his ass most of time.

Dom and Gabe's public lovemaking in a gay club made the tabloids so Gabe decides he has to leave. Dom finds Gabe packing and is afraid that he may loose Gabe forever. He fears Gabe has still not forgiven him for what he did. Gabe invites Dominick to leave with him just to get away from the paparazzi for a few days.

The wonderful thing that occurs in this book is Dom relaxes and enjoys the time with Gabe like a normal person. He begins to share some true feelings about some of the things he did to cause Gabe pain. He actually shares how afraid he was at the thought of losing Gabe.

This part of the story made me laugh. Dominick is a sophisticated, billionaire who owns a mutlti billion dollar company. Gabriel is a college student who struggles to make ends meet but does it proudly. Gabe insist on taking this trip on his dime like normal people. So when Dom is forced to shop at Wal-Mart, eat at a diner, and stay in a regular inn I can almost see his disdain.

Well, finally some real talking and feeling! I'm giving it 4 stars because is the best in the series, but overall, the 6 books combined (plus the 2 prequels) are not the greatest thing to read. Why? Because there was too much mental abuse and not enough character development in the beginning. Because the sex scenes were waaaaay too long. Because, even though the writting improved some over the course of the stories, the repetition of frases and lines felt like they where trying to fill a cuota of words per story and it was tiring to read.
I think, with the proper adjustments, this could be a good story in just one book instead of making it into so many short ones just to get one more dollar... But, alas, I wasn't the editor in charge of this proyect, so...
