Well religiously minded people might like it but I think the title is a misnomer.

You are not going to read his book then go on to memorise the entire bible in no time flat.

Actually I predict that the large majority of people who read this book won't go on to memorise anything, including anything in this book.

I am not saying the book has no value at all, but the title does not reflect the context.

The author tells you what mindset to approach your attempt to remember with, to pray about remembering, but I figure you are expecting something else. Like some kinda technique.

I have read a few other books by this author which I liked. This book is not uninteresting. It is worth the dollar, which is the current asking price.

but the title infers more than what you will get.

This was an ebook that I got from the Kindle store simply because of the title. Actually, the author doesn’t suggest a technique for memorization. He simply says that we need to allow the Lord to direct us to a passage, then pray for the Lord to enable us to memorize it. This humble admission of our need will allow us to absorb the Scripture and it will be readily memorized. I don’t want to doubt the author’s sincerity in saying all of this, but I will have to reserve final judgment until I have given it something of a field test.

On the positive side, the book was easy reading. I worked through it in perhaps two hours and really do think that it was worth reading. Still, I doubt that I will be recommending it to a lot of my reading friends.

More than memorizing

Lots of biblical encouragement about the love of God for us, His desire to be in relationship with us, and how this relates to memorizing His Word and the necessity in spending time with God and seeking His wisdom to grow in mutual intimacy with Him. Simple steps for memorization with the help of the Holy Spirit, and easy to understand and implement. Recommended reading for every Christian.

Very pleased

This book really spoke to me on so many levels. I will definitely recommend this book. It really help me to return back to what’s important to God. It’s not about what I can do for him (works), how I please him in a surrender and submitted life by faith in him. Thank you for answering the call, so I could be reminded on how to please God.

Nothing to do with memorization

This book had nothing to do with memorizing anything. It was simply a sermon. I have no idea how this altar justifies this title.
