In the comfort and safety of Seth’s California mansion, Elizabeth found a sanctuary from magic and romance. But she can’t hide forever. A phone call from Texas draws her out of her self-imposed isolation, and she is forced to seek answers to all of the questions in her life. Instead, she only seems to find more questions.
In the face of so much uncertainty, Elizabeth feels like she can’t breathe, like she’s drowning under the weight that has settled onto her shoulders. All she wants is a quiet, normal life...and the possibility that she may never have that could prove to be more than she can bear.

I've happily devoured the entire series over the past week or so, and it's been a real joy. Time to start recommending the series to friends and pulling them into the series' magical world, too.
2nd read, November 2016 - once again, 2 AM, a finished book, and the joy of having read the entirety of a series that pulls me right into its world. :-)
