About the Author
Corey Miller, PhD, was born in Utah as a seventh-generation Mormon. His ancestor was a polygamist and one of Joseph Smith’s bodyguards. Miller is president and CEO of Ratio Christi (ratiochristi.org), a campus apologetics evangelism ministry on 150 campuses. He has four graduate degrees and has taught nearly one hundred college courses in philosophy and religion, including at Indiana and Purdue universities. He is the author of Is Faith in God Debates in Philosophy, Science, and Rhetoric; Leaving Why Four Scholars Changed Their Minds; In Search of the Good Through the Eyes of Aristotle, Maimonides, and Aquinas; and Engaging with Mormons. He and his family reside in Indiana.

Ross Anderson, DMin, was born in Utah and was raised LDS. After leaving Mormonism as a young adult, he pursued a Master of Divinity degree and a Doctor of Ministry degree. Anderson has served as a church planter and pastor in Utah for four decades and is currently a teaching pastor at Alpine Church. He is the executive director of Utah Advance Ministries and the founder of the Faith after Mormonism project and the Culture-Wise podcast.

About the author

Corey Miller, PhD, is the President/CEO of Ratio Christi (2015). While he grew up in Utah as a sixth generation Mormon, he came to Christ in 1988 and he has since been a youth and college pastor, a Bible college and university professor, campus minister, lecturer, and first and foremost an evangelist. From 2009-15 he served on staff with Cru's Faculty Commons ministry at Purdue. He is an Adjunct Professor of Philosophy and Comparative Religions at Indiana University-Kokomo. He is variously published in journals. He is co-author of Leaving Mormonism: Why Four Scholars Changed their Minds (2017), co-editor of Is Faith in God Reasonable? Debates in Philosophy, Science, and Rhetoric (2014), and author of Moses, Maimonides, and Thomas Aquinas on the Good Life: From the Fall to Human Perfectibility (forthcoming 2018). He holds masters degrees in philosophy, biblical studies, and in philosophy of religion and ethics. His PhD is in philosophical theology from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Miller lives with his wife Melinda and three children in Indiana. He is passionate about defending and proclaiming the truth of the Gospel in winsome and bold ways.

Valuable resource on approaching people at your door. Does come from a Calvinistic/Baptist lean, but offers some important suggestions. It has taken me to realize for many years that a logic-based approach of arguing doctrine or Bible contradictions simply does not work (as the authors in this book point out). The mormon worldview is not really tied to the kind of evidence-based thinking that Christians generally are.
