Lucas Roth has worked hard to be successful, and has achieved much in the ten years since graduating college. Now that his career is established, he's ready for love. The problem is, the only man he ever loved, Jason, is the one he dumped ten years ago. Lucas sets to work winning his love back, but the years since school have been less kind to Jason, and he now hides a secret so damaging it could destroy them both.
Lucas and Jason had a relationship back in college. Lucas wanted it all, Jason was laid back. Lucas walked away breaking not only Jay's heart put his own. Flash forward ten years later, Lucas, after social media stalking Jay, wants him back and sets out to win his ex-loves heart. I was relieved when Jay made Lucas "pay" by taking it slow. What knocked me for the loop was the turnaround when I thought, ahhh, happily ever after. OMG! Knock me over and call me Lucy. Brilliant concept, and handled so well. Lucas really was a wonderful guy though he was hurting and poor Jay, thank heaven he really loved his man. The realism of the whole situation got to me.
Just finished reading this one. I really liked it. I honestly didn't expect much from it because its a short one, but wow. I really liked the characters and the issues they had to overcome. And I like the fact that it seemed realistic. When I read a sample on Amazon, I started laughing when I read that he stalked his ex on facebook. It really is a great one and really short and reasonably price.
