This book had a lot going on. I felt like I couldn’t keep up with everyone. I was glad to get an update on what since happened since the last book, but I’m glad the series is over.
Wow..what a difference a few years make! All of our favorite characters we have come to love..and some, we hated are back.
If you haven't read Anna Black's other books I suggest you do so as this book catches us up on a lot of past characters. I suggest reading 'Luck of the Draw', 'Now you wanna come back '1-2, and 'Who do I run to?'1-2 before reading this book. Sounds like a lot but the books are all five star reads and you won't be sorry once you get started.
The drama is never-ending, as this read takes us through the ins and outs of what has transpired in the characters lives.
Devon finds it hard to move on from past sins; can he find his happy medium or will time open old wounds? He tries to juggle his love life while dealing with fatherhood.
Kennedy has to deal with a grave tragedy but with that comes a hard secret to swallow. Her best friend Cher also has her grief to bear but will she be able to or will fear overcome her?
Janiece tries to fight her own insecurities in her marriage to the sexy, K.P but trust is hard to come by especially when life has a funny way of repeating itself. Will she learn to have peace..or will her fears come true?
Janiece's sister, Janelle has to also deal with her past coming to light and even though she has moved on, will a chance encounter change it all?
Isaiah seems to be moving forward but sometimes the things we desire the most are not always in the works..or plans for others.
Through Leila's endeavors, many of these lives cross paths, but will her busy-body lifestyle be a pro..or a con?
I loved this book and I found it refreshing how all..and I do mean all of the characters were brought back together. I enjoyed catching up on them and where they are and what they all have gotten into now. Not many authors are able to pull off joining books through a lot of characters and have different issues going on as Anna Black has done here. The time frame for the plot was on point and it allowed the story to flow even though different things were happening at various times. Oh, did I mention the drama? Yes, it was on and popping but I'm glad in the end all the books got summed up and we were even able to get those last satisfying tidbits on all the characters' lives.
Anna Black has done it again. She has brought back all our favorite couples and gave us details on their life. This was a great way to tie all the books together to end this sequel. Im sad to see them go but im happy with the outcome.
I thought I wasn't going to life the book at first but, the more I read it the more I wanted to read it. The chapters flowed and it was good to see what would happen next to the characters. I hated for it to end and want another book about Deja.
I enjoyed the book as a whole. I wish it was more centered around Rayshon and Leila. Introducing all the others was good but they have their own stories. Im glad everyone got their happy in the end
3.5 actually. Nice wrap up of the storyline. Whoke reading though I kept getting the feeling that I wasn't privy to some background info. Turns out I was right because at the end of book 3 I realized "Who Do I Run To" and "Luck of the Draw" are part of the series. I won't go back to read them but recommend you do before read the "Now You Wanna Come Back" trio
