Infinity has been kidnapped by her tiger shifting ex-brother Mason who’s drugged her so he can take her for his bride. Infinity now has no memory of the last couple days or the man she’s falling in love with. Now Infinity is waking up in the Tiger Shifter palace with no escape in sight. Boulder is looking for his mate Infinity and he’ll do anything to find her. When secrets about who Boulder and Infinity truly are come to light it’s about to become crazy.

I loved the first book in this series, but this one was a major disappointment. Infinity did nothing but whine and complain. I was also seriously irritated that after infinity learned everything the author decided to have a twist and made her forget everything. The whole story was interesting but drawn out for a little too long.

Boulder was probably the only good character in this book. He’s all Alpha male, loyal and sexy beyond belief. He takes real control and doesn’t whine about his lot in life, unlike some characters.

Honestly I enjoyed the story but not the main character Infinity. The fact that all she did was complain about every little thing and we had to relive her whole character development from the first story was absolutely annoying. I will definitely read the next book, but I hope the next book is a lot better.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Infinity has been kidnapped by the next Alfa tiger-shifter, her so called brother Mason. She has been taken to his compound in Colorado, because he believes she’s his one true mate. She will give him the power and pride he needs to rule as Tiger king on the High Council.

Infinity wakes in a strange suite, not knowing where she is or remembering how she got there. The last time this happened was when she had taken too much Rejuvenator, but she had been clean for 6 months now. There was no way that this was the reason. She couldn't remember taking the drug or anything else for that matter. She goes to the door, tries to open it, but discovers that it’s locked from the outside. She starts banging and screaming for someone to let her out. The door opens and in walks a young woman. She explains that Mason is taking care of pride business and that her name is Skylar.

Skylar is a half-breed, human/tiger-shifter. Infinity is trying to make sense of things, and is realizing her dreams were actually real. She wants to talk to Mason, and thinks he is crazy if he believes she is staying here. Mason comes in telling her that the wolf-shifters have killed her mom (Kara) and that she is only safe with him.

Infinity doesn't believe him, and has a feeling that what he has said is not true. She can't explain why, but the thought of Boulder hurting her mom or herself just didn't seem right. Mason has some broth brought in for her to drink. Her sense's go off, but she is not sure why, and drinks it anyways. She is in and out of a sleep, and while sleeping her dreams are showing her what the future will bring.

After a few days she realizes that Mason has been drugging her, so she stops drinking the broth dumping it in the toilet. Not knowing what is going to happen, but knowing she has to get out of there and find Boulder. She hears the croak and flapping of Ravens. After going out onto the balcony, she sees the ravens transform into beautiful Valkyries. The Valkyries explain what is going to happen and that she must be brave and ready herself for the powers that are to come. Infinity is not sure she is ready for this, and can't help but wonder why Kara kept all this from her? If she had known all this, then maybe she would be ready. She knows for sure that she loves Boulder and will become his mate.

This is the second book in the Valkyrie Soaring Ravens Series. I loved it just as much as this first one. I could not put it down. Wanting and waiting to see what happens between Infinity and Boulder. Do they get to be together and claim the destiny that is waiting for each of them, or do the Others step in and stop it all from happening? I recommend reading the book to find out. I cannot wait for the next book in the series to be released!

Awesome series

Love this series (you must start with #1) book 2 is actually better than book 1! Much more involved, more action, and the plot definitely thickens. I really like that the main character is kicka$$ but not infallible, and sometimes she just plain old makes mistakes. She's definitely finding herself (or finding out what she is) in this one. I'm dying because I don't see a part 3 yet.

Ever wonder why stories with supernatural being seem to be all the rage nowadays? Ever wonder why vampires and werewolves just can't seem to get along, no matter what universe they are in? Ever wonder if the explosion of supernatural beings battling it out under humans' unaware noses is a social commentary on something larger? This story won't answer any of these questions, but it will help you wonder...

LONG STORY SHORT...
Vampires + werewolves + lies + immortal beings + tiger shifters + fae + ravens + singing superstar + lust + visions + a whole bunch more = one heck of a sequel to Infinity! This sequel continues the story of Infinity, superstar realized supernatural being who has three other supernatural beings all bent on claiming her: two for power, one for love. Which one will succeed...and will this start another war to which the Fire and Ash war pale in comparison?

Just as its predecessor, this intriguing story is NSFW and 18+ (especially the ending....hubba hubba). The silky smooth writing style will bring you on an intoxicating whirlwind that will leave you demanding more when the infuriating cliffhanger ending occurs.

On a scale of 1 to 5, I give this work a 4.

LONG STORY
The Good
We've seen a plethora of vampire/werewolf stories lately....but how many of those stories include a rich singer, tiger shifters, fae, creepish ravens, and immortals amusing themselves with the mess that mortals have made?

One.

Well, maybe two. :) Although in fairness, this book is the continuation of a story, so....

One.

Again we find Infinity as the main character. She's a superstar realized supernatural creature who has been kidnapped away by the nefarious Mason - a man (cough *tigershifter*) who is after her for the power that he will be able to claim as her mate. Too bad that a kick a** vampire also wants to claim her for the same reason. Will Boulder, Infinity's true mate, be able to reach her before it is too late? Will their love start a war? Will Infinity be rescued, even as she begins to realize the truth about her heritage?

The prequel ended on a maddening cliffhanger. I was rather glad that I was able to pick this book right up and begin reading instantly. Sadly, the final book in the trilogy has not yet been published, so I'm over here cooling my heels while trying to wait patiently for the next book in the series to be released. Gotta know what happens!!!!!!!

Much of what I said about the first book is true about this one as well. This shouldn't be too surprising - same author, same story and all. Venez here continues her rather unique book in the middle of a genre that is being done to undeath, and it is still rather intriguing. I liked this book more than the first one - not sure if it was because it flowed together a little better, or because I felt more strongly tied to these characters since I knew them better, but I liked it better. Can't wait to see what is in store for the next installment!!

Oh, and still quite a chick flick - gotta love the intensity of some of these scenes (even if the science doesn't always make sense). :)

The Bugly (bad/ugly)
Um, same quibbles as for the prequel to this book (minus one):

1) It is still too confusing to figure out who is talking at the beginning of a chapter. There should be subtitles to the chapter notation or something, anything indicating who is talking so the initial "who the heck is this?" work on the readers' part can be avoided.

2) Seriously, humans should not be this dumb....

3) This book really needs a chart in the back that shows who is what: species, rank, position in the Council, etc. I was getting really confused about who was what and where and why.

Infinity Unleashed is the second book in the Valkyries: Soaring Ravens series by Sedona Venez. Fast paced from the very first word, the book doesn't slow down even when it's over.

Infinity, a half-valkyrie/half wolf-shifter hybrid, has been betrayed and kidnapped by the tiger-shifter Mason, a man she once swore to love. Thinking her friends and mother are dead, she doesn't remember what happened to her once she wakes up in Colorado at the tiger-shifter compound. What she does know is that Mason is absolutely crazy. The man has tried to control her for some time now and thinks she is his mate. Something she wants nothing of. All she can think about is a wolf-shifter named Boulder. She feels a strong connection to the shifter and knows he feels the same.

Boulder knows that Infinity is his one true-mate, the only woman for him. Once she's been kidnapped he does everything in his power to get her back. He teams up with Infinity's mother, Kara, and goes to the New York Other Council to nullify it's pact with the tiger-shifters. Agreeing to the nullification, the council creates a 9-person group, a la The Fellowship to get Infinity back.

However, not everything goes as planned. There are members of this group who cannot be trusted. One wants Inifinity all to himself, and will do anything to get her.

Infinity Unleashed is a good book. The characters are pretty fleshed out and are likable. I did not read the first book so I was confused at times, but I thnk the author did a good job of getting the main points across from the first novel. Infinity and Boulder make a great couple even if they weren't together much of the book. Mason is someone you'll love to hate.

What I didn't really like though was it was repetitive. A lot. The author would make a statement through a character and then not two paragraphs later the same statement would be repeated. This would happen throughout the whole book. It was quite annoying to be honest. I also didn't like the way the POV would change. The books starts out in first person with Infinity. As the book progresses it changes to third person if it's Boulder. When Boulder was with Infinity it got even worse. The POV would all be in third person but the POV would change between the two every other paragraph. If you're not paying attention or get easily confused, this is not something I would suggest reading.

The second book in the fast-paced Valkyries: Soaring Ravens series by Sedona Venez. Infinity is a half valkyrie/half wolf-shifter hybrid who has been betrayed and kidnapped by the power hungry tiger-shifter: Mason. The man she once thought she loved. Waking up in the tiger-shifter compound not remembering what happened and where she is, Mason feeds her stories about her friends and mother being dead; as well as slipping in he wants her to be his mate, during the full moon, of course.

Infinity may believe her friends and mother are dead, but there is one thing she is absolutely certain of: Mason is crazy and she needs to get out. But how? Boulder will find her... right?

Boulder is a wolf-shifter to whom she feels an incredibly strong connection to and knows he feels the same; after all, Boulder is her true mate.

Boulder does everything in his power to get Infinity back, even resorting to teaming up with Infinity's Valkyrie mother, Kara. However, not everything goes to plan as there are members within Boulder's rescue team who are not to be trusted, but who? All Boulder knows is that one wants Infinity to himself and will do anything to get her.

I enjoyed this book as the characters were well explained due to there not being too many main characters. Infinity and Boulder made a lovely couple and the author wrote their love story in such a way that I found myself empathizing with them as the book progressed. Mason was just one character I grew to love to hate.

There is one major downfall to this story though, I found it ever so repetitive with statements being repeated within the same chapters. I got the point, Boulder and Infinity are true mates and Infinity needs to be rescued from the evil clutches of Mason, I really didn't need to be reminded again and again. I would have enjoyed there being more action within the story i.e. fighting, but that is my own personal taste.

As much as this book was fast paced, I found that it went no-where; yet still found myself wanting to read the next book.

After reading the first book in this series, I was kind of expecting the sequel to be better. I liked the first one well enough, but I also felt like it was setting down a foundation for the rest of the series, and since the first book is out of the way, this book would be all kinds of awesome. I ended up disappointed in that aspect.

I liked Infinity Unleashed. I did. But it was below my expectations. The book wasn't as fast-paced as I thought it would be, and I did find myself getting bored at times. I'm also not a fan of how much time apart the two main characters spent from each other. If it's a romance, I expect some actual ROMANCE to happen--not just sex. Though I have to say, the sex scene was one of the better parts of the book.

I did like the little bits of romance we got--the concern and sweet thoughts. I also liked the subject matter, again. The world Sedona Venez has created in this series is so interesting, that was probably the most redeeming quality of this novel. That and the POV switches. I liked how we got first person from Infinity, but then we got third person from other characters. I always enjoy being in other characters' brains.

The pacing was the largest issue for me. The story felt like it dragged in some places, and it got hard to remain IN the story. I also felt like there was a lot of stating the obvious. I understood what was going on, yet the characters repeated it over and over in different ways. It was unnecessary. I was also disappointed that Torch wasn't in on the true-mate thing. It would have been fun having two alpha wolves all fierce and protective all the time. I have to admit, however, that just Boulder as our love interest worked out quite well, too.

The ending of this one was awesome. The last 30-ish percent was fantastic. I was flipping out and all excited and genuinely entertained with the story. And now I am DYING for the next book. Because I need to know what happens next! NEEEEEED.

Overall, Infinity Unleashed may not have lived up to my expectations, but it was still entertaining and I am definitely looking forward to continuing this series.

If you've read my review of Infinity (Valkyries: Soaring Raven #1) you're probably surprised that I rated this one so highly. After reading Infinity Unleashed, I was pleasantly surprised as well. This story picks up where the first book left off. Infinity's been kidnapped by her "brother" Mason and she's learning that her life isn't as normal, or human, as she thought. Additionally, she's also discovering that everyone that she's cared about in life has lied or wants something from her, and that she's been manipulated since birth. These discoveries are all taking place while Infinity is stuck in "hostile" territory where everyone hates her but a man who claims to love her.

There's still a lot of back-story that's being introduced, and destinies that are being unraveled, but it's told in a way that is interesting and pulls you in as a reader. This time around Infinity was a much more tolerable character as the events from the last book have sobered her up and made her take things more seriously. My personal highlight continues to be Boulder who is steadfast in his determination to get his true destined mate back. Even though that means facing his own destiny.

I'm still waiting for Infinity to break out in some serious badassery, and unfortunately the story ends on a cliffhanger. My only wish is that when the third book releases it show us the side of Infinity that everyone seems to fear. I'm feeling hopeful after reading Infinity Unleashed and honestly I didn't want it to end. I'm not a fan of the cliffhanger, but if this story continues to get better and better with each release I'm willing to forgive.

I'm giving this one 3.5 stars. It is definitely worth reading, but since it picks up where the first book ended you might want to check Infinity first to fully understand what's going on. That said, Infinity Unleashed was definitely a step in the right direction and I'm anxiously awaiting the next in the series.

The story begins with Infinity being kidnapped by a man she thought she could trust but learns he is pure evil named Mason. She is drugged and led to believe that her mother is dead and the man she has come to love Boulder is the one responsible. But Infinity knows something is not right...she can't remember what happened to her or her mother and her visions tell her things are not as they seem. The more she remembers the more she knows she has to get out.

Boulder is furious that Infinity has been taken from him shortly after discovering she is his true mate. Now, he can only think of one thing...getting to her and making her his so he can fulfill his destiny.

This was a really different but great read. I was sucked in right from the beginning although I was really confused at first. This is the second book in a series and I haven't read the first so it took me awhile to catch on to what was going on. But once I got it, I didn't want to put it down and stayed up late to finish the story. It kind of feels a little like the middle of a story rather than a complete book.

My thoughts:

Quick hook or slow starter? 5 (I was hooked from the first chapter)
Character development: 4
Level of Romance between characters: 3.5 (more action than romance in this one)
Passion/Heat level: 4 (there is some serious heat both in conversation and in the actual deed.)
Angst/Heartbreak: 3.5 (no so bad until the end then oh man!!!)
Cliffhanger?: Huge! Drops you right off a cliff...hopefully won't have to wait too long for the next one.

Overall...I liked it but I think I would have loved it if I had read the first book before this one. I felt like I was walking into the middle of a conversation and it took awhile to catch on. I would have rated it higher but I loath cliffhangers and this one has a doozy so I am once again left waiting for another book to continue the story. Can't wait to read it though!!

Infinity Unleashed is the second book in the Valkyries: Soaring Raven series. If you read my review of the first book, Infinity, then you know I wasn't sold on it. Which means I wasn't excited to continue my reading. I must admit that Infinity Unleashed was much better than the first. Although, I still wouldn't consider myself a fan.

It's pretty action packed from page one. Infinity has been kidnapped by Mason and taken to the tiger-shifter compound. Her memories have been wiped due to being sedated and drugged. She's told that her friends and family are dead. She is to become Mason's mate and rule the tiger-shifter community. Or something, it's all quite confusing.

Boulder is determined to find Infinity. She is his true mate and he will do everything in his power to bring her home safely. I want to like Boulder, I really do. But he is so cave man. My woman. My mate. I protect you. You are mine. I am yours. Blah, blah, blah. The only sexual scene in the whole book is during Boulder and Infinity's mating claiming thing. I swear if I read the words, "I am yours and You are mine" one more time, I was gonna barf. I got it the first time it was said, you don't have to keep reminding me.

The cussing was right on par with the first book. Excessive. I reached the point where in my head, I completely skipped the bad words and the story sounds so much better! So much cussing is not sexy, it's trashy. I think this was the one thing that bothered me the most with Infinity and Infinity Unleashed.

Overall, the story line is fantastic. I really do love it! It's just not fun to read about when it's in such poor taste. I honestly don't think I will be continuing with this series. I still wouldn't recommend these but I also wouldn't say don't read them either. Try them out for yourself! Just because it didn't float my boat, doesn't mean it won't float yours

I wasn't particularly affected positively by this story.
It's the second book of in the trilogy Valkyries: Soaring Raven by Sedona Venez.
Doesn't help that I didn't read the first book, but I struggled enough in absorbing all the information about Infinity, her true nature, her past and the implications of it.
Everyone want hero dead or in their power. The reality created by Ms. Valdez is complex, full of immortal creatures and political interests and power and because of all this things I was a bit bored during the reading.
For more than half the book there has been no contact between Boulder and Infinity, which are the predestined mates and this is actually one of the points that I liked less.
I was more struck by Kara, Infinity's mother and Cortez the vampire with whom she is always in constant conflict.
I'm sorry but this story is not my cui of tea.
Thanks to Netgalley and INscribe Digital for book.

Infinity Unleashed continues the complex story of Infinity and Boulder as they try to save their world –and each other—before it is too late. Sounds like a common plot, but while it may have a few expected ideas involved, Sedona Venez has also thrown in more than a few fresh ideas, too.

I read book 1 (Infinity) when it released last year, and enjoyed it. Now Infinity Unleashed left me on yet another cliffhanger, but as much as pisses me off, I have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed the ride. Now I must know what happens next—mission accomplished, Venez, I'm dying for the next release!

This series has it all; a fresh storyline, new twists, an more than just shifters and vampires. It's rare for me to read PNR lately, but when I do the book has to offer something new. Venez has accomplished that and more with both of these books.

I have to admit, at times Infinity annoyed me, but I love Boulder. A sexy ginger shifter—who can possibly resist that?!

I do recommend reading this series in order, to avoid being lost. Remember hat both books end on cliffhangers; depending on how you feel about that, you may wish to wait until the entire series is available and then start it (I didn't, and I'm okay with that.) If you are looking for a new paranormal series to follow, this is it.

Shifters and vampires and valkyries, oh my! A compelling paranormal with a good dose of steam, Infinity Unleashed is perfect for any PNR fan!

I got an ARC in exchange for an honest review (This is also posted at Toots Books Review blog)

Infinity Unleashed by Sedona Venez
After being kidnapped by her once crush and now pain in the ass manager and “brother” Mason, Infinity doesn’t only feel confused and angry. She realized her life has been full of lies since she was a baby. Kara was forced to take care of her and Mason is a tiger shifter sent to get her affections and favor. She even had a member of the witch tribe as a dear friend and family member that wanted some retribution for her witches. In a world full of lies, corruption and deception, who can you trust?
In Infinity Unleashed, Sedona revels to us the biggest secret behind Infinity’s existence. She is much more than what she seems and her very existence could mean saving the world or destroying it. A choice must be made but…what is the right choice? The darkness in her calls for Alik but with him come destruction and death. With Mason…well there is nothing that attaches her to him but some memories of better times, which were nothing but lies. But with Boulder, he compliments her. He is her balance, her happiness, her everything. In his eyes, she doesn’t represent power or obsessive love but real love. She is his true mate but…that could endanger his life and there is no way she is going to lose more loved ones.
A choice must be made…but who should she choose? What path is the right one?
The right choice may break her little by little
but the wring one may destroy everything and everyone…

Infinity is now unleashed

I don't like giving negative reviews on books. I hate it..but honestly giving this book two stars was generous. Let's dive into it,shall we? I'm for different. I'm for sci-fi/paranormal,romance..etc. When it comes to reading I'm pretty open. Surprise me. Make me stay up all night just to finish. Give me quotes that speak directly to my heart. It took me way too long to finish this book. A good book..I read in one day.
I understand that this is book 2 in the series and most of the time to really grasp the story and attach to characters you are suggested to start on book 1, but sometimes we jump in mid series and eventually catch on to what's happening. There was none of that for me. I stayed confused the entire book. There was way too many things going on to keep up in my opinion. Infinity herself couldn't even stay focused. She flip flopped with her emotions constantly. When reading other reviews I saw 4 and 5 star ratings! I was wondering if we all read the same book? This was like a fan-fiction gone bad. I'm not a prude by any means, but the cursing was like a teenager trying to sound grownup. Just because you use bad language doesn't make readers take you seriously and find you intelligent. Some obviously loved the book, but I won't waste any more time on the series than I did forcing myself to finish this book. It simply was not for me and I wouldn't refer it to anyone.

Infinity has been kidnapped and drugged by Mason. Mason believes that he and Infinity are true mates and when the full moon comes up he plans to mate her and get control over her powers. Meanwhile Boulder and the rest are trying to find her. When Infinity comes to her senses and realizes that Mason has been drugging her she stops taking what they are giving her. Shes becoming more clearheaded and realizes that there are gaps in her memory and works hard to get it back. Just walking out of where Mason put her is not an option so until she finder her way out she begins to learn more about herself and her role.

I thought this book was pretty good. It was unique and I haven't really come across a new adult book that have paranormal. What I didn't like was that everyone seemed to want Infinity. The story line is interesting and I loved that there was more then one point of view. My only problem was that it seems as if every person wanted her as a mate to get ownership over her power and it was rather annoying that everyone wanted just her. When I read books with a love triangle is okay but this book book is more like 3 or 4 guys like her and its too much. I loved the attraction between Boulder and Infinity. Overall I really enjoyed this book. Oh and as a warning this book does have a cliffhanger.

Infinity Unleashed picks up where Infinity left off, if you have not read 'Infinity' I recommend doing so (Although bare in mind, it isn't as good as this book but will give you background that you will find helpful).

I am pleased to say Infinity Unleashed was much better than Infinity. The story and Infinity's journey is better thought out, more structured and I find we weren't told a lot of mindless information we didn't need like in the first book.

Infinity grew on me a little more in this book too, I found she was more likeable and at times, more relatable. As you know, I am not one to give spoilers, but this story isn't just a paranormal book, we have romance and some really hot scenes too which make it a read that will keep you interested.

I read this in 2 sittings (Namely to needing sleep), although I'm not as into my paranormal romances now as I was, this was a refreshing chance and I thoroughly enjoyed it. At times I found Mason more interesting that any of the characters, just because he isn't stable, but this story was made for me by Infinity and her quirky personality and how the story played out.

I gave Infinity Unleashed by Sedona Venez 4 stars, for those who like a paranormal romance with some hot scenes, check it out.

***I've got this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. ***

There is everything you need in a paranormal romance (or even more)...
I really liked it!

Infinity has never known what is she capable of...never really known about her family and her future. She just loves music.

Mason the wannabe next Alfa tiger-shifter kidnapped her, and took her to his compound in Colorado. He would like to mate her, because he believes in her power.

But her true mate is Boulder, and of course he fight for her.

Boulder will find me. I didn't know how, but I felt it deep in my soul. Boulder...the one man that made my body quake with just one look. It was madness. There was so much I didn't know about him.

And the story become more and more excited. I like the different POV's Infinity, Boulder and Kara, this really make the story more enjoyable.

That's where most men failed. Accepting the real me. But after years of hardening my heart, and sealing it behind a steel cage, I was ready to give myself to him freely. Knowing, that he planned to take everything I offered with both hands, until all I thought of...and wanted...was him…

I'm glad to find this book, and read it, it's really a great work.
My only problem is that damn cliff-hanger :))

I need the next book because I am so curious!

Good book… different from the usual paranormal/fantasy that I read. You’ll want to read the first book, before you read this one. But, even if you didn’t, the author does a good job with both the character and plot description.
I loved that the story is set around Infinity, who is part Valkyrie. It was a nice change to have a main female character that’s something different from a witch or a vampire. Yet, all the creatures in this book want her as their mate, so that they can have control of her powers (which will only come to her after she has taken a mate). She is quite the desired woman! Though, Infinity wants only her true-mate (Boulder). I loved his character too! My FAVORITE part of the entire book was the interactions between Infinity and Boulder. And I won’t say any more than that, because I definitely don’t want to give away any spoilers!
Of course the end of the book is a cliffhanger, which sets up for book #3. I was a little sad that it ended right when things were getting really good!!! But now that you’ve read my review ahead of time, you’ll know to be prepared for the cliffhanger and have book #3 ready to start reading, right after you finish this one!

Book 2 starts off where book 1 ended and let me tell you Infinity doesn't disappoint with her bada** attitude, "eff you. I was going for your eyes. Give me a few more minutes, and I'll make sure you'll never be able to procreate again." I eyed his manhood pointedly." Mason I thought he was... well he's bossy, and mean, and I don't like him and when he's being nice it means there's something he wants, "you left me no choice, Ice Princess. You threatened to harm the family jewels and I can't have that. I need it in top-working condition to create all those babies I intend on having with you." he snapped." Boulder my heart is with him he's so protective, "he wanted to hurt them like they hurt his woman." And it's good to know that Infinity still can get a rise out of him (physically that is), "Infinity's sweet voice wrapped him, making his inner beast crawl. He couldn't help the smile when she called him by her nickname for him. Big Red. He would show her the meaning of big in a minute." Ready for book 3!

Book 2 is just as captivating. We are given insight to many of the details that have destined Infinity and Boulder to be together. Even though she is being held captive by Mason and his crazy pride. She finds herself struggling with what is really happening, what she is imagining, and what is destiny unfolding. Factor in the influence of the Immortals and Balancers and you find Infinity fighting for her own sanity and control of her future. She learns the history that has led to everyone wanting to own her because of the power she posses as both salvation and destruction. What is Infinity willing to sacrifice in order to fulfill the prophecy? Can she survive long enough for Boulder to get to her or will Mason or Alik claim her first? How much can she take before it is easier to let the darkness take over?
The story and the characters keep getting better and better. My problem is Sedona Venez is the queen of cliffhangers which may do me in before book three, comes out in August.

Infinity Unleashed is the second book in Sedona’s Valkyrie series. I highly suggest reading Infinity first as it offers more background into the characters themselves that you’ll need to fully comprehend the importance of their decisions.

Infinity’s lie is about the get even more complicated. Being kidnapped is just one piece of the puzzle. Will she be strong enough to handle what’s to come?

Boulder has issues of his own to sort out. He has a fine line between claiming what is his and not letting those he calls his family down. His emotions are all over and sooner or later he will have to choose.

I liked the first book in this series but Sedona managed to make the second even better! She dangles tidbits in front of you filled with nail biting suspense/action. I was on the precipice waiting to see what would happen Next.

If you love suspense, action and unique characters, I would definitely recommend reading the Valkyrie Series.

After reading the first book in this series, I was pumped and ready for the second one. What I wasn't ready for was all the action that started right away. The story continued to send the reader on a roller coaster ride and dangle little pieces of information in front of you, only to make you breathless for more. This book also had much more sexy scenes, which I LOVED!!

Infinity is with Mason the tigershifter that kidnaps her and wants desperately to escape. However, she still doesn't know the big secret as to who she is and how much power she might have. As she learns new information from hushed conversation she knows she needs to escape.

An amazing chemistry between Infinity and Boulder her security detail at her concert captivated me the entire time. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the next ball to drop.

A must read series in my opinion.

A great continuation from where book one of the series left off. I'm a bit grrr about the way it ended. But all in all I found it to be an entertaining read that most fans of the genre will enjoy.
Also, I recommend reading book 1 (Infinity) before starting on this one so you'll understand and enjoy it more :)

Infinity is being pulled, tugged, manipulated and virtually brain washed to pieces because so many desire her for what she's to become. But what about her? What about what Infinity wants?
That's answered and more once the higher ups get involved and shed some much needed light on the situation.

I absolutely adore Boulder. He's the man and a perfect match for Infinity! I look forward to what's in store in the next of the series.
A 3.5 rating rounded to a solid 4.

Infinity Unleashed is the second book in the series. When Infinity who is part Valkyrie is kidnapped by Mason the next Alpha Tiger-Shifter she hopes Boulder will come and find her. Mason wants Infinity as his mate because once she received her full power he can use it to rule the High Council.

Infinity hopes Boulder her true mate will come rescue her. As the truth and secrets are reveled she doesn't believe Boulder would ever hurt her or her mother who was killed. Boulder doesn't want her powers he truly loves her. Choices will be made and decisions decided. I recommend reading book 1 first in the series and I cannot wait to read book 3 and find out what happens!

Hmm...this book made me think. For much of the book, we are learning things through Infinity's mind/dreams as she is learning them. It is hard to determine what is real and what is not.
We meet more secondary characters as well.
Boulder is enlisting everyone he can to find Infinity regardless of the consequences. She is his mate after all...
I love how The Immortals got Boulder and Infinity together. They are fighting for each other and against everyone it seems. There are so many people/groups/politics involved in this world it will make your head spin. Lol.
It's a great ride though, in my opinion.
Again, we are left with a major cliff hanger, so be prepared. :)

Another great book from Venez! I'm hooked! Can't wait for the next book! I do have a few issues with the story....it was rather upsetting that all the men in her life were just interested in using her as a glorified sex toy and baby incubator! Infinity is the most powerful being in the world for goodness sakes! I can't wait for Infinity to unleash her inner "badassness" and kick some shifter and vampire ass! The next issue is...since Infinity is Glen's daughter, that makes her and "Big Red" second cousins, right??? I'm kinda freaked out by their relationship but I was cheering them on anyways...does that make me a weirdo?!? Well, despite my mixed feeling Venez has got herself another fan!

Though I read this book first, it was fairly easy to keep up with what was going on. The chapters are clearly labeled as to what is past and present. Great plot of good vs evil, well written, yummy and kept me itching for more. Poor Infinity, will she ever get a break? And Boulder....ummm...Yum!!
Cliffhanger Alert...but honestly I don't see how else it could have ended to open for book 3.
Language, adult situations... Definitely an ADULT read!

My only complaint is that the book is not clearly labeled as a second book in a series on Amazon.

Really liked this book. I haven't read the first one yet and wished I had and I will be soon. Awesome story of shifters and valkyrie(don't mind spelling :/)with vampires and Fae. Loved the idea of a true mate being a stronger bond than that or a regular mate. The heroine has all the men wanting her and she only wants her true mate, Love it!

Crazy

Part 2 of Infinity was crazy. Infinity's world comes crashing down. She finds out that everything that she has been told is a lie. She gets kidnapped by her "brother" Mason but that is the start of the catalyst that destroyed everything that she knows. Can infinity survived this or is she stuck in hell she has been pushed in.
