I have to say, I wasn't expecting much from this book, seeing as I only kind of liked the first book and was bored to tears by the second, but I've been perving on Chuck since go so there was no way I wasn't going to read it. I actually ended up really liking where she took Chucks story. It was kind of hard not to love him.

I'm going to try to keep the spoilers to a minimum but the reason for the 3 star rating instead of higher is due to two major events in the book that threw me.

So we all know that Chuck is sentenced to community service for having a firearm while on probation. The incident stemming back to the first book where he saves what's-her-face. For his CS the Judge decides it will be beneficial for him to pretty much be a nanny for his grandchildren who's father just died and whose mother is returning to work. I know, just go with it. Here is where we meet Chuck's heroine who has lost her foot in the car accident that took their father. She's having a hard time adjusting and pretty much refuses to rejoin the world. Every person in her life coddles her. Except Chuck, who refuses to treat her like anything other than a normal girl.

Both MC's are very likable. They're interactions are incredibly sweet without being nauseating. There are most certainly some steamy scenes and one in particular involving a sketch pad and some sexy drawing. It does have a significantly younger feel than the previous two books but that's to be expected with both MC's being in their very early 20's. Still nowhere near immature, though.

So, I'm still not quite sure what's the deal with Dickie and Chuck. There's a little more detail as to how they came to know each other but its pretty obvious there's a deeper connection there than even Chucks aware of. I was hoping more would come out in this one but it looks like we're going to have to wait till Dickies book to find out.

Ok, now on to my WTF's. They mention Chuck's "inappropriate behavior" several times throughout the book. Pretty much its just him saying what he thinks and, for the most part, there's nothing inappropriate about it. There is however the pony play at the family pool party incident.

The next WTF was the ending. Well, more the climax actually. This one is a pretty big spoiler so if you haven't read it yet, I'd skip this part.

Other than those issues I have to say that this one has been my favorite so far of the series. Definitely worth a read. If you like biker stories without a lot of the crazy stuff give this series a shot. They're fun and easy reads.

Book three starts where book two left off. Chuck was sentenced to 1000 hours of community service for having a gun and Judge Peterson has told him he will serve it watching his grandsons. So Chuck goes to his community service and watches the two boys, while playing with Matt and Ben he see's their sister hiding in her room and when he asks about her he finds out that she has been staying in her room after an accident took their fathers life and took her foot. Meredith can't believe her grandfather sent him to look after her brothers but the more he's around the more she is intrigued. Chuck finds himself easily caring for the boys so when Ben tells him he wants his sister to come to his birthday dinner he makes it happen by dragging Meredith down to dinner, when he see's her he can't believe she is so beautiful and Meredith can't believe how handsome Chuck is. As Meredith spends more time with Chuck she starts to realize that she wants to live and that loosing her foot isn't the end of the world and she starts to realize she has feelings growing for Chuck. Chuck and Meredith find themselves spending more and more time together but Chuck knows that she is off limits and that he will have to break it off with her. Then someone from Chucks past threatens to take Meredith from Chuck and Chuck will have to decide if he can finally leave his past behind. I liked this book more than book two and found myself sucked into this book within the first few pages. I always liked Chuck so I was glad to finally have his story. Chuck intantly stole my heart he was damaged and just wanted to love and be loved. He wanted a family to belong to and he found that in not only Meredith but in her family as well. All of the gang from book one and two are in this book so we get to see where they are now. It was refreshing to see that though Meredith came from privilege her family never rejected Chuck because he didn't, Meredith and her family were great characters that I grew to care about them easily. We again get a nice set up into book four about Dickie and I can't wait for his and Becca's story.

COMMENTS/NOTES: This story was about redemption Chuck's and Meredith's. After meeting they help each other change their lives for the better. I loved how close the family is and how they grow even closer once they realize what they have. I liked the little moments with Meredith and the virls(Dana and Lilly) and Chuck and Dickie-who seems like a great "father figure." There's also a nice setup for Becca and Dickie's story, can't wait

Chuck never expected anything good to come in his life. He has been let down by so many people so that when his friends are there for him he keeps waiting for the ax to fall. Saving a friends life has brought trouble to his.
Meredith lost so much and has shut herself away from everything for a year. Chuck brings out feelings she hasn't let herself express in to long.
This book was so good and I felt for Chuck. You just wanted good things to happen for him. I wish each of these books in this series ended with an epilogue. I just want to know what is going on with each of the couples a few years down the road. I hate the way that just stop abruptly.

Wild Ride is a sweet story with a few intense moments. This is story about not judging a person with the way they look but by how they treat people. Chuck is sexy, rough, raw , sweet and a talented artist. Meredith aka Edith is going through an awful experience that has left her depressed , wounded and lost herself. Chuck and Meredith will find strength in eachother, they will both learn new things about themselves and find love on the way. Happy Reading!!!!

This was such a beautiful story to read, I really enjoyed reading Wild Ride where we find Chuck handed community service by Judge Patterson, due to having a gun in his possession, all in his attempts to rescue Lilly at the end of the first book Rough Ride (which is my favourite urgh hmm). Little did Chuck know that the Judge was setting him up lol, he was told to carry out his service by assisting the Judge’s family with day care. Chuck meets Carla who appeared apprehensive in leaving her two young sons Matt and Ben in a felons care, but this was easily dispelled when she saw how the boys instantly bonded with him. Chuck learnt that the boys had an older sister called Meredith, who stayed upstairs and never interacted with the boys. His interest was piqued when he sees her at the window and their eyes lock. I have to say that was so cute and sexy! I really felt for Meredith’s character, it was an emotional read to see how she viewed her life, cutting herself off from everyone due to her disability, and the grief she still felt of losing her father. I loved how Chuck forced her to get on with life, starting with dragging her downstairs for Ben’s birthday lol! He made her start living again and feel like a beautiful woman despite being an amputee. The scenes between Chuck and Meredith were hot and sexually seductive, especially when he got his paintbrush and pad out lol! We see the rest of the characters flow through this, and Dickie was just amazing when Chuck’s past comes to haunt him and threatens his future, causing Chuck to rethink his love for Meredith and he pushes her away, luckily soul mates know when the other one is in danger. I loved the catch up with Lilly and Bobby, Matt and Ben were just too cute! A heart-warming book, which sees Chuck being adored and embraced by the Johnson family, along the way he loses his heart to a beautiful girl who hid behind the curtain, and gave her a reason to live and change her outlook on life.

Overall I enjoyed this book. Great continuance of the story since the first book.
In this book we learn about Chuck's rough up-bringing, but also see the soft side that up-bringing gave him. He craved an escape and his escape was art.
We also meet Meredith and learn that she became an amputee through a brutal accident that took her fathers life and forever changed hers.
Their love was sweet and drawn out just long enough. It was also very hot and steamy.
This book's hero was a little wishy washy. But not because of another woman, because he thought Meredith didn't deserve him.
My only problem specifically with this book was after what Meredith went through being kidnapped or held ransom (whatever), he just left after he saved the day. I hated that. I was hoping they were to the point he would rush to her and make her all better, and have this great reunion but he just left and zoned out in art. I also felt the story was a little too "made perfect" toward the end by this big art gallery in New York wanting to push his paintings and hire him and all that.
Anyway, 4 stars...obviously a good read. A little on the tooooo happily ever after (Whhhhhaaatttt???), but hey, I guess I'm just use to all these downers that have come out lately. I think I've been contaminated by them. Maybe I'll watch Care Bears for a while or something.

I like this Riding with Honor series...they are for the most part, guys who love to ride and who have a deep sense of honor (while maybe not fully living in the clean).

I loved these two crazy kids! Chuck was hilarious and full of life, like he has always been for the past two books, but even more so when he sees the amazing family and home of love that Meredith seems to be tossing away.

Chuck grabs life and Meredith by the horns and never accepts no for an answer. Meredith believes that if she can't hear or see her little brothers and life in general, that it will go away and maybe the loss of her foot and father won't hurt so bad. Then, when Chuck just picks her up and brings her down for her brother's birthday, BAM! Chuck says, ya, you lost your foot, get a fake one and move on!

Easy as that...and it is that easy when Meredith stops thinking so much about herself and sees the wake of distruction her loved ones have endured: losing their father and essentially losing their sister/daughter upstairs.

I loved as the family was integrated into this story. And, once again Gretchen STOLE every single scene she was in! Gosh, I lovers that little girl!!!

Great quick read, me

I like to read storys that have biker bad, plus people who have been in the foster care system. So this book. I liked. It goes to show you no matter what a crappy place you came from you can succeed and become a successful functioning member of society.

I also like Chuck character showed the Meriteth that she needed to stop wallowing is self pity and see how much she really had.

Lots of people don't have nice homes, parents, and good things growing up. I liked his funny sense of humor and how he longed for what she took for granted. He was a little spaz at times but I still loved him. I liked this story a lot.

Plus sometimes all it takes is a little hope to set you on your merry way to a happy life.

Id grow hairy legs any time for Chuck....lol

Turns out that I am a sucker all the males in the book. Chuck who seems to be care free has had a hard life. What with moving from foster home to foster home and then getting into a gang. Chuck violated his probation and gets sentenced to 1000 hours of community services. This entails looking after the judges granddaughter and sons. Meridith was in a car accident with her father a year ago and lost her foot. She is in a complete pity party and has given up on life until she meets Chuck. Once again this book is real life with real problems and so down to earth that makes the story so enjoyable to read.

Wild Ride is the third book in Rebecca Avery's Riding with Honor series. Each book can be read as a standalone book but characters are recurring through out the series.

I love this series. Wild Ride is about Chuck, the painter from the motorcycle shop, and Meredith, the grand-daughter of the judge. I do absolutely love the recurring characters and the glimpses into the lives of the main characters from the previous books. Chuck is my new favorite hero. I love how he brought Meredith out of her shell and had a pretty positive outlook on life even though he had a very crappy childhood. Love this story and highly recommend each book in the series.

I loved this book, along with the first two, and can't wait to read the rest of the series to see what happens!!! I like how the characters are from different backgrounds but find a way to make it work and support each other to become one big happy family! I read each book in a day b/c I couldnt put it down. Rebecca Avery has quickly become one of my fav authors and I can't wait to see where she will go from here!

Great book! They just keep getting better and better for me. Chuck has been sentenced to 1000 hours of community service because of the mishap in book 1. So where does he end up serving it? Babysitting the Judge's grandchildren, so the recently widowed mother can work to support the family. What happens next no one could have expected, especially Chuck! Great read, I give it 5 stars!

A great read mixing, action, emotion, psychology and art. I couldn t put it down, even manage some pages during work hours haha.
Two people surmonting the hardship in their life and coming of it together and stronger.
And my favourite part, a re acted of a scene from Titanic where he draws here nude on the bed. So hot and deeply sensual. Just beautiful.

I liked this book, but I don't think the author really knows how much guns cost. You can get a dirty gun for $25 on the street, a clean one for more like $100. No way would Chuck have been in such a bind in real life.

I'm giving this book 3.5 stars, but would love to give more! Chuck and Meredith deserve more, but the extremely abrupt ending, along with those continual editing and writing style issues, keep it from happening. Character development, however, is definitely improving as the series progresses.
