I generally like Clair Poulson's writing a little more than this. I kind of felt like the bad guys were caricatures of mobsters. I had a hard time believing they'd go after Adriana because she 'probably' knew something from her father. I also had a hard time believing the romance between Adriana and Brad Osborne. There was a lot that was just a bit too far off to seem believable. It's still a decent story, but I never quite fell into it like I have some of his other stories, though. On the other hand, I did like the very end. I did not see it coming.

My husband and I read this together and really enjoyed this book. It had enough suspense and the mystery unfolds well. Love the surprise ending.

When I heard my mom recommend this I started to read it and I loved every page of it. I loved the way it was set up and how it almost made me thing of what was going to happen and then it its what I thought was going to happen.

Adriana Chambers thinks nothing about stopping to help someone. Who knew that a kind gesture would become part of a murder investigation. With each new piece of information, Adriana and her family's lives are threatened. Detective Brad Osborne vows to keep her safe. He'd like to keep Adriana for himself.

This was a fun book and a smooth read. I enjoyed that it was more G rated than most of the others I have read. The author is a Devout mormons and it comes through in his prose personally it was refreshing and good for introducing young readers to mystery thrillers. Wonder if my kids will take the hint.

Love a good suspenseful book that keeps you guessing what will happen next. My only problem was I could put it down. The story was engaging, but so many characters left me zoning out at times. I chose to listen to it on audiobook and didn’t care for the voice used - his female voice was nasally and annoying. Overall, it’s a good clean read.

It was a little disappointing if real life is like this story because the other police didn't believe him. The characters in the story had figure out who did it, not the police. So I hope the story isn't real.

The storyline kept you moving along and characters developed throughout the book. I knew who the players were but not how it came together so it kept me going until the end. Liked the Epilogue which provided a nice "moral of the story is. . ." moment.

The book started slow which made me apprehensive. However it soon picked up and became a page turner! So glad I stuck with it. Definitely worth it. Loved the twists and turns. The ending was not what I expected, in a good way.

I usually like Clair Poulsons books more than this one. However his books are easy reads and sweet. If you are new to his books don’t start with this one.

what a twisted web of greed and betrayal this book is and the innocent people that are captured by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Author does a great job of being realistic in portraying the characters and police. kinda scary that police take the easiest path of convicting someone with out always looking beyond the obvious.

Adriana Chambers was only helping a stranger change his tire and ended up being caught in the middle of a murder case, with threats made to herself and her family. She didn't know all the circumstances behind her father's abrupt divorce from her mother or his change in his behavior, but she was soon to find out. Detective Brad Osborne was assigned the case and instantly the two young people connected. As the case of a murdered neighbor and ruthless defense attorney connects more dots to Adriana's father being involved, so does her resolve to protect herself and find the truth. This puts her in danger many times. She has to stab a man who is holding a gun to her mother. she is shot at after exiting a restaurant. She holds herself together to testify to the truth about Jerzy's innocence and all the related happenings. Brad keeps digging for more info as his partner and lieutenant try to wrap the case up as a slam dunk with Jerzy as the murderer. What really is going on is a turf war between two rival crime bosses with enmity for each other. One to help convict the other and see him in prison and the one to strengthen his case to be acquitted. Ugly business of cut throat killing to keep from being killed. At least there is the silver lining of Brad and Adriana getting married and Mr. Chambers sorting out his mess with his wife. Jerzy also sorts out his ways and helps Brad finally get the murderer of the lawyer.

I really liked the plot and the pluck of Adriana in caring for herself. I wish Poulson would give more details in some of the part, which tend to be covered quickly in a this-is-what-happened type of way, rather than with dialogue and description. Totally clean with a few twists and more complicated plot than many LDS authors.

The thing about Clair Poulson books, is you stay up all night turning pages as fast as you can. In this book appropriately titled Framed, you are instantly interested in Adriana Chambers a beautiful college student stops to help a very unlikely stranded motorist with a flat tire. When she leaves him to run home and grab a screwdriver to help get the hub cap off, she returns only to see him driving away with the tire repaired and was that someone else sitting in the passenger seat? Adriana quickly discovers that she is right in the middle of a murder investigation and she may be the only witness that can keep an innocent man from going to prison. With the help of handsome young detective, Brad Osborne, the race is on to prove innocence and keeping Adriana alive, someone does not want her to testify! Clair Poulson does it again as master storyteller of intrigue and fast paced action, you are sitting on the edge of your seat right up to to the very last page.

This was my least favorite book by Clair Poulson. I was anxious for it to end, not because I couldn't wait to find out how it would end, but because I already knew, and I just wanted it to be over. My husband and I listened to this audio version of this book, and didn't care for the narrator as much as others we've listened to. It did help pass the time as we drive back and forth to Show Low, about 30 minutes away, three times a week for dialysis. It wasn't terrible, but just not intriguing or very interesting.

I loved this book! If you like mystery and romance then Framed is the book to read! Clair M. Poulson really understood how to make a mystery book intense. This book is about a beautiful girl who was attending college. In her attempts of being a good samaritan she gets intwined with a murder mystery. With the help of detective Brad Osborn, she is saved from the murderer and the murderer gets what he deserves. But if you want to find out who, make sure you don't guess who's just framed!

A friend recommended this author to me and I will definitely be reading more of his books! I love mysteries and I especially appreciate when they are not overly gory or too adult in nature. The author is LDS (mormon) and the main characters in this story are as well. It's handled more as background content and is not the main focus of the book. This was a stay-up-too-late page turner for me and I was pleased to even be surprised by the ending.

This is another great Clair Poulson book. A young woman sees a man struggling to change his flat tire. She stops to help him, but doesn't have the tools that she needs to change the tire. She goes home to get a screwdriver to help him, but when she comes back, she sees him driving away. Later the man is charged with murder, but he is actually framed.

Interesting storyline, but I think I've decided that I rarely like female characters from this author. For whatever reason, they seem completely unbelievable to me. Too much crying and running to the man for help. A little of that is fine--too much of it really starts to get on my modern sensibilities. :)

I read his first few books and enjoyed them, but this one and the one before (Vengeance) I just can't get into. Rather boring, too slow moving, and cumbersome descriptive sentences. Also, way too unbelievable. And if I really don't care about the characters after 2 or 3 chapters (and I even gave him 6 chapters!), the book is not for me!!

Good Samaritan

Adriana is driving home and comes upon a man struggling with changing a tire. Even though she is a woman, she is a proficient tire changer, so she stops to help. This begins her innocent involvement with organized crime and meeting and working with a handsome policeman, Brad. I enjoyed this ever-changing story with a surprise ending.

I didn't think this one was nearly as good as many of his other books. I got so bored after 60 pages and was annoyed with the silly dialog between the two main characters. I skipped to the end and read the last five chapters.

I liked this book, but it wasn't like his others. There was something missing (maybe I missed it) If he was going to get the two main people together, he should have focused on that a little more. It just wasn't what I expected from Clair Poulson.
