A boy and a stray horse meet up to become a dynamic duo with a happy ending. This book was the winner of 1955 William Allen White Children’s Book Award following Little Vic, the 1954 winner, which was another boy and his horse story. I think I’ve now read enough horse and jockey books for the time being.
