When her mother and older sister go away for the weekend, and she has an out-of-town guest, nine-year-old Chris is determined to stay out of trouble--but finds that she is problem prone.
A prolific writer of over eighty books, Catherine Woolley published so many children's books that her publisher recommended using a pen name for some of her works. Ms. Woolley's Ginnie Fellows series was and continues to be a reader favorite across generations.
This was a great little comfort novel. I loved following Chris in all her adventures, and couldn't believe they all happened over the course of one weekend! I never felt bored or as though I was forcing myself to finish. An absolutely wonderful read!
