"Time with Pete" is one of my favorite books to read my three kids. The reader follows Pete from the time he wakes up (7a) to the time he goes to bed (8p), including Pete's morning routine, going to school, favorite subjects in school, lunch time, recess, after school routine, dinner time, chores, and bath. I like how the book uses both a face and digital clock to reference the time. The story flows nicely with lots of rhyming. The illustrations are great too -- ants, mice, and caterpillars that are "hidden" and fun for the kids to find. I cannot say enough good things about this book! I started reading this book to my first baby in 2008, and continue to read it to all three of my kids on a very regular basis.
