I read Learning about Charity from the Life of Princess Diana for one of the biography/autobiography books. This book about Princess Diana tells of the great things she did for children and charities before, during, and after her time as Princess before her life came to a shocking end. The book shows real photographs of Princess Diana with her own children and other children that she volunteered her time to help. This book has a lot of information about Princess Diana and her inspiration to everyone. I didn't realize what a giving heart Princess Diana had before reading this book and I was very impressed with how much of her time, energy, and resources she gave. This book also has a table of contents, glossary, and index. When new words are introduced in the story, they are bold and have the pronunciation in parenthesis to help children pronounce the words. It would be a good book to introduce the vocabulary that are in this story.

I thought this book to be more for younger children doing a project on Princess Diana. The text is quite big for them to read. I also like how it had a page for text and then the page next to it had a picture that related to what the text said. Another thing I thought was great, was that the picture were actual real photographs. They weren't cartoon or anything. It allowed to students to really see how she made such an impact on all the people in her charities in the short amount of time she was alive. It also had bold words for students to look in the glossary to see the definition of if they didn't understand the meaning of it. Even though it was a short read, Caroline Levchuck did a great job of incorporating all of his life in perfect order.
