A decade of prayers reunited them. Only a miracle can keep them together. Olivia Swann Taking my sister on my honeymoon was never part of the plan. But neither was finding my now ex-best friend and fiancé in bed together the day before our wedding. Instead of dwelling on my failed relationship, my sister and I embarked on the vacation of a lifetime. I was ready to enjoy the exclusive resort and all it had to offer. What I wasn’t prepared for was running into the boy—now man—of my past, who vanished after giving me the kiss of a lifetime. Weston Lockwood It broke me to abandon the only girl I ever loved. But when my careless actions brought tragedy to our hometown, the only option was to leave her behind. Ten years have passed and in that time, I’ve built my empire, but Olivia never strayed far from my thoughts or prayers. When I found out she was engaged to my high school nemesis, I thought a second chance would be impossible. But when she showed up at my resort on her honeymoon without her fiancé, I knew this was God giving me the second chance I’ve been praying for. Will Olivia and West claim their happily ever after? Or will hurts from past wounds destroy their chance at forever?
Tawni is a Christian wife and mother, living life to the fullest with her family. She’s been writing since she could pick up a pencil which was also when God instilled a passion for storytelling into her heart. Every story she writes contains a guaranteed happily ever after. Real life has no guarantees of happiness, but she can control her fictional worlds. Sort of. Her characters like to take her on several roller coaster rides of uncertainties, daily. When she’s not writing, she’s tending to the house, playing with her kids, or on those rainy, lazy days, curled up with a good book and cup of coffee (probably with too much creamer.) As much as she loves telling love stories between a man and woman, she hopes you discover the ultimate love story of Jesus. Her goal with each book is to show her readers the fulfillment of what having a personal, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ is like.
I feel bad rating this low (2.5⭐️) because the story wasn’t bad!! It was so sweet and I love that the author incorporated strong faith into all the relationships (my favorite part!) and it’s clean!!!
The structure needs work. The plot felt very rushed and I thought there could have been more detail in between certain events. There wasn’t enough of the past included for me to fully understand Liv and West’s relationship in high school. The book could have been longer to incorporate more of those finer details. Overall, the intentions are good and I swooned at the second chance romance 😍 I would recommend this if you want a light-hearted, cheesy, Christian-romance short story.
Also…the sister’s epilogue at the end 😂 very curious what happened there! Thank you so much to the author for sending me this ARC!☺️

This was such a sweet, faith filled novella! I loved it!
Was it predictable and a little cheesy at times? Yes, but I think that's why I liked it so much! It was just a little bit of sweet, light fluff that brightened my dreary day.
I liked the love interests' chemistry, but Dana stole the show!
I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a fast paced, Christian romance.
I ALMOST stopped reading because first person present tense is not my favorite. 😬 I'm glad I stuck with it. This was a very sweet romance with low angst. I did get mad at the heroine for what I thought was a stupid decision, but she redeemed herself, so all is forgiven. I even told my 14 year old daughter she should read this one too!
Recommended for those who enjoy Christian billionaire romances, romances with a beachy feel, and childhood sweetheart romances.
This was such a sweet, quick read! I loved the characters, the forgiveness, the tension, and the setting. I also enjoyed the teasers about Dana, and I can't wait to read her book too!
Tawni Suchy weaves together a sweet and endearing second-chance romance in this heartwarming novella. Filled with swoony moments, a little mystery, faith elements, and sweet gestures, When Forever Comes shows us that even when our lives seem to be falling apart, God is faithful to work all things together for His purposes and our good.
I wanted to give this book a chance since it’s a Christian romance but unfortunately it was completely unrealistic and had little to no character buildup. I was disappointed :/
This will not be my last Tawni Suchy book, I love how her Christian fiction books are a lot more than one prayer at the dinner table, it’s filled with characters who live out their faith. ❤️
WHEN FOREVER COMES made me laugh, swoon, and melt at all of Weston's wonderfully romantic lines and actions! His love for Olivia was so pure and tender to witness, and I was so mad at her ex-fiance for how he treated her (and West!) Their second-chance romance was lovely and the flashbacks were a nice touch.
(4.5 stars because my pet peeve in romance books is physical insecurities in the heroine; I find it to be a little cliche and tiresome.)
Thank you to the author for my ARC; all opinions are mine.
Tawni delivers a heaping dose of swoon without the spice in this sweet Billionare Romance!
With a memorable cast of characters, a lush, tropical setting, and a slow-burn second-chance love story that weaves themes of grace and forgiveness throughout, this was easily the best novella I've picked up this year!
This book is a super cute and fun novella! I loved the faith elements throughout the book and the focus that God always has a good plan. I also really loved that the main characters wanted marriage and a family! It did feel a little rushed, and I think it definitely could have been made into a full length novel with more details. I would have enjoyed seeing more of what made the characters who they were. Overall, a sweet, clean, and quick read that I would recommend!
Christian premise + romance?! That was beautiful! The writing could do better, but I loved the idea❤️
“To the girls who think all the ‘good ones’ are taken, God’s design for your life is beyond your wildest imagination. His plan for you is personal and His timing is perfect.”
”Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.“ (Romans 8:18)
I don't think any Christian romance novel has ever made me squeal and pray for my future man as much as this book did. It was the perfect combo of fairytale dreams and romance. I loved how Olivia grew past her insecurities and learned to embrace God's grace. West was so sweet. Given his past guilt and all, he turned out as a fine man, a billionaire who believed in God at that. Dreamy Sigh... I'm looking forward to reading the love story between Dana and Rhett too. Thanks so much for this, dear author. This was amazing!
I really enjoyed each character’s unique life journey that lead them all to the same exotic location. They each had a bit of complexity that kept me engaged in the plot. The faith elements were sprinkled in nicely and felt organic. The romance was sweet, and clean with just a touch of minty goodness. I can’t say enough about the setting which was an enjoyable backdrop that made me want to book a vacation at a luxurious island resort. It really is a fun and easy listen. I’m looking forward to the sequel!!
This sweet, faith-filled story is a clean, fast read with tender moments between two characters who had a crush on each other ten years ago. Through a set of circumstances, they reconnect. This story also has the characters facing betrayal, insecurities, and a high school nemesis. I enjoyed the flashbacks. Such a sweet story.
I realized it was a novella when I finished the book, so now I understand why it was so short. BUT the plot did feel rushed and I was hoping for more background details. Significant events were strung together very quickly.
This is a fast paced story, but SO good. Tawni keeps faith out front while also bringing ALL the swoon. West is an incredible protective hero and I'm in love. Highly reccomend!
A fun, sweet, clean read about a second-chance romance with dual POV and flashbacks! If you’re looking for something outside real-life and easy to get lost in for 90 minutes, this could be the book to try! Doesn’t every one want “the one who got away” to conveniently have become a billionaire and still be full on in love with you 10 years later? 🤭
It’s short & novella-style so there’s not much room for character development or to really get invested in the story, but some of that is to be expected. And I don’t care for the “cheating troupe” to set up a story, but that’s a personal preference.
I thought the dialogue between characters was well-done and I enjoyed the personality of the sister, Dana! And it’s refreshing to read a language-free, fairly clean romance that has strong faith themes woven throughout. Apart from some swoony kisses and post-honeymoon morning, there’s nothing spicy!
I received a complimentary electronic copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed are entirely my own.
Tawni is a great and gifted author! I loved that this book was short and sweet! Seriously, you could finish this in 2 hours if you have the day off!
This book is fiction, but this particular type of fiction is really hard for personally me to enjoy. Because so much of the story was just unbelievable. I kinda wish she didn’t use the cheating fiancé because that would have made things just a little more believable.
Since the story is so short, it was tough for the characters to not seem annoying to me. The MC, Liv really had some insecurities that continued to pop up at the most unneeded moments.
Anyway, if you’re looking for a quick, clean, Christian read- this may be for you!
I received a complimentary copy but wasn't required to leave a positive review.
I liked this book a lot! It was my first Christian read and I loved the way she added faith into it. These 2 characters have a chance at love. I really love Wes but he seemed too perfect lol and Olivia loved her but her insecurities at times for the best of her but needless to say I’m glad these couples got and worked through the things and miscommunication that was happening. They stood in their faith and kept pressing forward. I will also take some lessons here and apply to my own life as well! Good read, very light! Definitely what I was needing! I received a complimentary copy but wasn't required to leave a positive review.
This is a great story! First time reading this author, and I want to read more in the future. I liked the point of view from the 2 main characters. This would be a great hallmark movie. Clean and sweet story. Highly recommend.
