I don't know about the rest of the readers, but I couldn't get into this book, it sounded phony and stilted from the start, as if the author had wanted to write a Regency novel, changed her mind but had modern people sounding like they were from Regency times. And the descriptions of anything and everything were BORING; this is a novel not an auction catalog! The description of the h in particular (as an apparent paragon of perfection) was just plain ridiculous, the H's introspective thoughts and comments made him sound like he was AI and the chemistry between the H and h was ZERO, which also the rate of my interest in the story, so it was a DNF for me!

A sweet contemporary romance. Distant cousins, one in America & one in Scotland. The hero in Scotland is sent to Victoria in America to bring "Victoria" back to restore the Storm fortunes. There are snags along the way but all is made clear.
I needed a book like this to read at this time. :)
