We all want to improve our health. Usually the problem isn't in understanding what needs to be done--it's in finding practical, easy ways to make it happen in day-to-day life. Admittedly, it's difficult to stay focused and committed to radical lifestyle changes in diet and exercise, but everyone can do one thing each day to improve his or her health--especially when it can be a different thing each day. Don't let another week of failed goals and resolutions slip by. This handy guide, presented in a pick-and-choose format, contains 365 simple ideas that can add up to make a big difference in how you look and feel.
Daily healthy tips. From the perspective of a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I liked it because if at all else I can do that ONE things that day to be healthy. Overtime some of these things become habits.
My mom and I call this our "Healthy Living Bible". It has so many (365!) simple ways to make healthier choices. I found my favorite granola recipe in here. It includes everything from exercises to do in your home to getting your kids to make healthy food choices to reducing stress. It's a winner!
I am really enjoying reading this. First of all, you can read one page at a time, which is quite convenient! Second, it has some really great thoughts, facts, and ideas. For example, did you know that one bottle of sweetened juice can have up to 8 teaspoons of sugar? When the ideal amount of sugar per day is 10 teaspoons, this is a LOT!
I really enjoyed this "Simple ways to improve your health one day at a time" and offers 365 tips in an easy to read manner...overall health, not just diet and exercise, but also social, emotional, and spiritual health.
Loved how down-to-earth and simple she makes it to have a more healthy life - it's arranged in one page chapter "tips" that are easy to read just a few here and there. Very good information and ideas.
I like the book because the advice comes in baby steps and everything is simple, with a little bit of spiritual and scriptural support in between. Being healthy is something I really need to work on.
This book has some really awesome, easy ideas for becoming and staying healthy. You can read one tip a day, but I just read the whole thing in a few days and will probably go back through it.
I really liked this book, because Melanie gives simple one page, healthy tips each day of the year. So you can read one a day or one a week to work on. It's really good.
I am not done...since you read just a page a day. But it is good and I like the approach she uses. It's a realistic and easy going approach to making changes towards healthier living.
This was a very good little tip a day book for health. Since the author lives just down the street from me I thought I should read it. It was motivational and written in an upbeat style.
Read this book slowly. It has a ton of information and if you read it fast you will never get all of it. It does have a ton of good ideas and I might try a few of them and see how they work out.
