Well-organized, good overview. Requires an understanding of core legal concepts such as constitutional law, as you'd expect from a topical course taken later in law school. In our class, we supplemented this book by reading some more general cases on government employee issues (e.g., when discussing first amendment rights of public school teachers, we reviewed first amendment rights of all public school employees; these cases weren't part of the book).
