I found this book in a secondhand shop almost thirty years ago(as a university student). Many of the recipes are our family staples now. Romeo had succesful classic Italian restaurants in both LA and New York and it is easy to see why he had such success, including the casting party from _Gone with the Wind_. There are some clear classics here and I highly recommend this book.

This is the best cookbook I've found in a long time. What it lacks in enticing photography, it makes up for with singing prose from Salta and a few absolutely killer recipes. Try the risoverde. You will thank me.
