This book is not the most well written, it almost seems as if you are reading fanfiction but if you are a fan of the series I think you can get through it and maybe have some fun with it to near the end. Ymmm Chocolate

You can really picture it as manga. And anime. They are just the same XD lol.

About the same level of quality as the previous Gravitation novel, which is to say it was cutesy but not terribly great. The extremely animated behaviour of the characters, as usual, does not translate well to text. The hijinks of this plot were slightly more entertaining than the previous novel, but the resolution left much to be desired.

This novelization shares the same issues as the first. Many timeline inconsistencies, and poor characterization. Manga Yuki, and even his animated counterpart, are both more likeable than the Yuki of this novel. He has his soft moments everywhere else but in the novel we only see his cold side, his sexual side, and then he’s cold again. There’s no glimpse of the softer side of him, like the hints given in other adaptations that keep you from wanting to strangle him lol

Overall, this is basically just an officially published fanfiction that sounds like it’s written by somebody with only a wikipedia page worth of knowledge of the characters and plotline.

Cute story but I could not follow all of it. Still not sure why Yuki treated Shuichi the way he did but do we ever understand Yuki!

As someone who has read all 13 manga and watched all of the anime, I absolutely loved this book. I would definitely recommend it to any Gravitation fan. I thought it translated nicely into a novel. It's not really a novelization of the manga, but more of a side story. If you haven't seen the anime or read the manga, you probably won't enjoy it as much, or at all.

Poor writing, but I understand it was translated. I wouldn't recommend it to people who don't know the series very well or at all.
