Suffering from post traumatic amnesia, Sabella Hall begins to remember her abusive father and discovers an amazing ability. She is sought out by the leader of The Vu, a clan of those with gifts such as hers. As she journeys through using her gift, finding new love, experiencing betrayal, and remembering her past, she faces off against a shocking adversary.
Hannah is a full-time musician/creator when she's not writing. She's an accomplished violinist and author with an insatiable love for the color purple.
The Vu is an exciting story with plot twists galore. I enjoyed reading it, but at times I felt like it was moving too fast. I would have loved to see more development of the relationship between Sabella and Jonathon. I liked the whole cast of characters- they were entertaining and relatable. This book has it all: action, suspense, romance (a love-triangle) and heartbreak. A fun, fast read.
Sabella Hall doesn't remember her past. And there's a good reason she doesn't. She's been abused by her own father as her mother does nothing to stop or protect her. Sabella begins to remember her father and discovers she has amazing abilities, just like dear old dad. In walks Jonathan, the leader of The Vu, a clan of those with gifts such as hers. Remember the reason why her past was forgotten? Sabella learns that it was done by her father, who now wants her dead, but before that wants something from her.
This book is really fast paced, maybe too fast, even though there's a good 300 pages to read. I wanted more about Sabella and Jonathan, along with the other cast of potentially great characters.
I was given this book as an ARC and have just read it. I had read what the book was about and was looking forward to reading it.
I think it was interesting, the concept very good, I can only give it 3 stars due to the fact its not really my kind of genre. If it is your, then I urge you to read it as its well written and flows well.
