A few inaccuracies are prevalent throughout the books, but overall a decent introduction to some of the saints in the Catholic Church

Well organized and concise history of a lot of saints--not just the more popular ones.

I gave this book to my mother as a Christmas present a few years ago, and it has been out, "on the coffee table" since then. She and I have used it on rare occasions to look up specific information. It is a small book, with one or two pages per Saint, lavishly and beautifully illustrated.

I attended a lenten retreat earlier this year where the topic was the Saints, and because of that and other reasons I have recently become more interested in learning about the lives of the Saints. The Church New Year was September 1st, so I decided to read this book this year, starting on September 1st (St. Symeon the Stylite) and following the book through the Church year, 100 Saints in 365 days. Look for my final review in twelve months!

Picked up this book a while back at Barnes and Noble. I love it's use as a referece material. I have by no means read the entire book, but I use it often when I want to learn more about a particular saint, their symbols, and what they are the patron of. Beautifully crafted with full color pictures.

Very informative! Many of the members of the Church Triumphant included I had never heard of, and I certainly learned a lot from this book.
