Seen Trilogy by Cynthia Sax Collage

I have decided I like these little sexy reads that I can put away in about an hour. They give me lots sexy times, emotional attachment and keeps me wanting to know what will happen. If Anna will get her HEA.

I'm his nymph and he's my muse, my source of inspiration, the reason for my joy.

He Touches Me starts off right where we left off in He Watches Me. Anna is still on her road to self discovery and sexual fulfillment. In this installment she advances from just being watched by her lover to being touched.

"You see me, Blaine.""All of me."
"I'll always see you."

The emotional attachment has bound Blaine and Anna together where it's easy to feel the love from the pages. It's not just chemistry now. Anna has found herself a second job to help her make ends meet and it just so happens she gets a pretty good view and has transportation perks.

Blaine lowers onto me, laying siege to my body, claiming me. Skin meets hot skin, his hard shaft pressing against my pussy lips. I've never been this close to a man, this close to Blaine. I've never trusted anyone this much.

Life is moving forward slowly but there are still creepy people lurking *cough Michael cough*. Anna is slowly but surely transforming from a moth into a beautiful butterfly, and she is still trying to land the ever elusive meet and greet at Feed the Hungry. Ups and downs with Blaine, but she is breaking down her walls slowly.

You're mine to cherish, to protect, Anna. I'm never letting you go."

This series is steaming up my Kindle!

If you had "seen" me while I was reading this series, you would have seen me with flushed cheeks and trying to hide the Kindle I couldn't put down, but didn't want my kids or anyone around me to see what I was reading... Just a magazine on my Kindle guys, move along, nothing to see here!

This series is HOT and the covers are absolutely an indication of how spicy these books are- (like eating a super hot habanero pepper with no water anywhere near you hot)!

I don't typically read/review a lot of erotica, but I had read a few rave reviews about how great this series was, so I had to check it out for myself. This was as addicting for me as 50 Shades of Grey was...the first four times I read it (I love my 50). This book does contain a lot of "mature" content, but it also has a story woven in that will keep you turning the pages and leaves you with HEA! Gabriel is near the top of my list of super hot heroes.. I highly recommend this series and give it 4 HABANERO PEPPERS instead of stars and recommend you read it with a tall glass of ice water handy!

Second book still interesting, but also a bit confusing as to who the main character is. One minute she’s trying to be part of the wallpaper and the next, she relishes attention from others. Hmmm…

He Touches Me is Book 2 in the Seen Trilogy by Cynthia Sax. You are welcome to read my review of Book 1, He Watches Me, here.

I found Book 2 to be quite similar to Book 1 in feeling and in plot. Nothing has really changed for Anna and Blaine and they're still doing the same things. It's difficult to describe exactly what is good and bad about this book so let's just jump right in so I can figure out, shall we?

Anna is still weird little Anna. She's still flat broke and it still makes me nervous for her. When your heroine has to choose between lunch for a week and bus fare, I think you've gone off the tracks somewhere but I have no idea why. Anna is also still an exhibitionist and if it wasn't obvious before, the author rubs Anna's lady bits in your face to make sure you get that. Whenever Anna and Blaine are engaging in heavy petting or fingering (that's about all the action you'll get in this one), she's imagining that someone else is watching her. Someone in the bushes, someone down on the street, the driver of the limo...ok, sweetie, get a grip. Speaking of getting a grip, Anna is a little bit self conscious about her body. She mentions her small breasts several times over the course of Book 1 and Book 2 and here in Book 2, I noticed that she mentioned how baggy her clothes were. I originally thought it was a way to become invisible, like she prefers, but now I'm thinking that she's skinny. This is backed up by the fact that she's thrilled when there's a marketing pack of hazelnut spread and crackers hanging on her front door and she considers that her lunch for the day (yikes!). But then, she mentions her curves and I'm thinking, "What curves?" So I'm a little confused as to what Anna looks like. She still has confusing thoughts about the hot guy at work (Michael) but she's developing some kind of friendship with "Goth girl" at her work. Later, she realizes that the utility bill at the house she's house-sitting is so high that it will wipe out half of her paychecks for the month even though she turns nothing on - no A/C, no TV, nada. So she heads out in search of a SECOND job, which is where Blaine comes in again...

Blaine is still quietly, mysteriously sexy and I dig him even more. And no, its NOT just because he's described as having a huge manhood! LOL! Blaine hasn't changed much in this installment. I felt he was still something of a dominant, which I had hoped would be explored but it's clear that there won't be time for anything in-depth. He's still extremely busy with his company and sometimes, I even felt that he didn't have much of a role in this book. He was there, trust me, but not quite enough. As I mentioned above, we finally get a glimpse of the treasure he's hiding behind his zipper. Well, a literary glimpse, anyways! :) Of course, this is all through Anna's eyes and she has NO experience with men so her perception may be skewed. Something that I really liked was that Blaine kind of loses his control just a teensy bit with Anna. Anna loves it but it seems to scare the shit out of Blaine and he does the required retreat. I was a little confused about that part because it seemed like he bolted out of town, using work as an excuse but it also seemed (to me) like he would be back. Anna takes it like Blaine is done with her forever and she's devastated. When he does come back, it all felt overblown because I didn't know if I should have been worried that he would be gone for good (like Anna was worried) and that I had missed something or if my reaction (thinking he would return) was correct.

Together, Blaine and Anna are hot. Again in this installment, there is no sex, unless you count dry humping, in a limo...without clothes on... Oh nevermind! I'll never be able to explain it! On one hand, it was crazy hot (naked dude, hello!?) and on the other hand, it was a little lame (adults, dry humping?). I would say that this novella is crazy sensual but maybe not sexual. There's plenty of masturbation (again) but not much else. One thing I definitely didn't love was the author's use of "pussy". Its used frequently and in many variations (pussy lips, pussy juice, etc). I found it a little distracting but I hate to complain about it since what the hell else can she say?? I think it was noticeable because of a phrase that was used that was really similar to one used in Book 1. It was something about Anna's pussy juices being speckled on Blaine's cuff and I'm thinking, how does pussy juice get speckled and how did it get all the way up on his cuff?? I guess I don't want the answers to those questions, not really, so it wasn't a huge big deal but it took me out of the story a little bit.

For all of the pussy talk, I still found this novella a little tame. Of course, I don't love novellas and these three novellas in the Seen Trilogy could have been put together for one novel but who knows what drives these decisions? I'm happy that I have the third installment because I finally see something external about to happen that is going to be really bad for Anna and I'm pretty sure I know exactly what it is . The fact that I can guess where this is heading is NOT a problem for me because I don't pick up these books looking for mystery, if you know what I mean. Even though I may think it's tame, it still has plenty of heat and I think a lot of people would enjoy this, especially those of you who are new to erotica or erotic romance. I don't think you NEED to read Book 1 before reading this but if you like a slow burn, Book 1 and Book 2 will be MUST-READs for you!

I liked this book a little more than the first one, because I felt like she opened up to other people a little more than before.

I still feel like Blaine is hiding something or that he isn’t completely honest towards Anna, but I guess we’ll see in part 3.

I love a bit of kink. I love it even more when two kinky characters find each other and their kinks just fit. Exhibitionist meet voyeur...what a perfect match. She loves being watched and he loves watching. And damn, so did I. The Seen Trilogy pulled me and my kink loving self right in.

The whole voyeur aspect of the trilogy was kind of naughty and exciting. A lot of the story takes place in and around his pool, where he first spotted her skinny dipping, and you're always left wondering who else might be watching their time together and I loved that. Yes, it turns out I have another kink. *hangs head* ::snort::

So Anna and Blaine. He's a billionaire control freak and she's an "innocent" virgin that keeps herself hidden and unseen in a crowd. But ah it works. Really. She's very curious and adventurous about her sexuality but just hasn't had enough trust to actually seal the deal with anyone. But something about Blaine speaks to her. I liked the connection between them and their blunt honesty with each other. And of course, I always love a hero with a bit of Dom tendencies in him.

Each installment brings them a little closer-- watching, touching then finally claiming. The steamy bits were interesting since for an entire installment only watching was allowed, there's a LOT of self loving on Anna's part going on--and it's pretty steamy, huh! Sometimes wording made things a little awkward but I still enjoyed all the naughty bits. I know it may be a weird thing to like--but really now...we're talking exhibitionists and voyeurs so I'm good with my little weirdness on this one-- but Sax added in things now and again like how when Anna's finally sucking him off she took a bit too much and her eyes ended up watering. Weird to like, maybe, but that bit of reality totally worked for me.

While it's not always smooth sailing-- insecurities and fears do rear their ugly heads--you can still see them changing with each installment and I enjoyed seeing who they became. Learning to take control or let it go, opening up to someone who could hurt them, making friends for the first time, etc.

Overall I enjoyed my first time reading Sax. I loved the actual storyline. And I enjoyed Sax's voice and getting to know the characters. Neither of them have had it easy, they've got some odd kinks going on but they're good people and you want to root for em. Or, at least, I did. Personally, I'd suggest not reading the trilogy right in a row if rehashing bothers you like it does me. There was quite a bit in the second and third installments which left me on the frustrated side since it was info I had just read. I think, really, I'm just not a serial novel reader. But for a quick, spicy read with a nice kinky kick it definitely fills the craving.

Overview

OVERVIEW

His touch enflames her desires.

Anna Sampson has allowed billionaire businessman Gabriel Blaine to watch her, all of her. And looking is all he's done—until now. After giving him permission to touch her, Anna realizes she won't be satisfied until she has all of this handsome and secretive man.

Soon she tempts him, shreds his control, and pushes him too far. Blaine's reluctance to take her virginity frustrates Anna. He fulfills her fantasy, but what is their reality together?

My Thoughts

Well, we're getting into the meat of the story a bit more which is nice, especially given that there's got to be something a bit deeper to Blaine - and his past and what that means for his relationship with Anna.

We've gotten to the point in this where Blaine is going to trust himself to 'touch' her but not really engage in more than just touching. We've taken the jump from voyeur to active participant here and it's interesting to see where things go.

In this 2nd installment we also see Anna struggling a bit more given that she doesn't make that much money and she's living in a mansion. she finds that she has to get another job and that makes things tough since it means that she'll have to work a night job and that it'll bit into the time that she has with Blaine. Of course, being a billionaire, he has a way to solve this and it's interesting to see where that goes.

There's a comment that Blaine makes though that really throws me and makes me wonder what we'll see in book 3. He says to Anna 'do you ever wonder why they chose you to house sit among all of the other applicants' - and then after he says that, he makes it clear that he'll always protect her. Personally i find this to be interesting, since we know that Anna has a past - really that it's her father's past that she's hiding, but i wonder if she's being set up for something?

The other little twist that i can't to see how it plays out is the relationship Anna has with Michael. We know that she thinks he's really cute - but he's not Blaine so there's no line to cross there. I have a feeling though that Michael and Blaine know each other and that's going to get dicey at some point. in any event, i'll have to read on to the final installment and see where this story takes us.

Cynthia Sax’s He Touches Me picks up where He Watches Me left off and it’s the second novella in The Seen trilogy.

In He Touches Me, we get to know Anna and Gabriel a little more. I failed to mention that narration in He Watches Me is first person via Anna and it continues throughout the series. I like Anna and her perspective. Anna comes to grip with the reality that she likes to be watched and I feel that a series in her narrative adds to the voyeurism aspect that she enjoys very much.

Character development continues and it’s interesting to see both Anna and Gabriel establish a relationship. Their night time swimming ritual Anna established with Gabriel, still continues but this time there’s a bit of action on his part. He’s not ready to sleep with her because he’s trying to earn her trust. Both of them have trust issues and Gabriel doesn’t want to pressure her into doing something she’s not ready for. We also get to know Anna’s coworkers from He Watches Me a little better. She becomes friends with the goth girl, Camille, who is surprised to see Anna still working at Feed Your Hunger because she still hasn’t made any in-house meetings. Then we have Michael, the son of a Hollywood actress and he becomes interested in Anna. While Anna might be attracted to him, she can’t bear the thought of being unfaithful to Gabriel.

Anna also realizes she needs to find a second job in order to pay the utility bills which were much higher than she anticipated. When she informs Gabriel that their night time ritual would need to be postponed he suggests setting up a meeting with his assistant. I know you’re probably rolling your eyes thinking he’ll get her hired, but actually he leaves the hiring decision to his assistant and doesn’t interfere. I won’t say if she gets the job or not, but again I like that Gabriel respects Anna’s boundaries.

Cynthia Sax’s He Claims Me is a sizzling read! If you have a few hours to spare I highly recommend it. If you haven’t read the first in the series, He Watches Me, do read it first because it sets up how Anna and Gabriel met.

This is the second book in the Seen Trilogy and it takes us right back into the lust filled world of Anna and Blaine. I wish we would hear Blaine’s thoughts and feelings. I find his Character SO interesting and a little back story on both of them would be great.
In this book, Anna is struggling to cover the electricity bills and eat at the same time. Anna feels that the sensual midnight swims with Blaine might be over. Anna is struggling to bring donations into the non-profit she works for, the two men in her life comes to her rescue, but that just makes her more confused than ever, which one does she want.

The simple version of this book is its hot scenes and submission-lite, BUT there is SO much more! All the characters are complex, the steel, domineering character of Blaine cracks and we see his vulnerable side. Anna, slowly decided what she wants and Michael....I don't know, there is something about him that just seems too good to be true!

Another great read! I LOVED every second, I just wish it could go on forever

We find out even more about Blaine and Anna is the second part in the trilogy. I couldn’t wait to read it so as soon as I did I had to start and couldn’t stop until I reached the end. In this one Anna opens herself up a little more and Blaine gets scared and tries to run away but he ends up coming back. There is just something that can’t be denied between these two. Anna is used to not bringing any attention to herself. Blaine is a man she becomes to trust more and more everyday.

I never thought midnight swims could be so hot. I love the nickname that Anna has. Blaine named her Nymph and she has been named true. I could just imagine all of the water scenes. The author is very descriptive in her words and I can just sit back and still see it in my mind after I have finished the book. It has a little of the fifty shades to it, but none of the BDSM. In this book they both have scars from the past and they need each other to be whole. Blaine is a very private guy and you can tell because he only trust some people. He keeps those close to him, but even they don’t see all that Anna sees.

This book is hot and explosive. Each time they are together is even hotter than the last and you just hope that it will get even steamier if there was any way it could get that way. I will have to say the limo and office is one of the hottest scenes that I have read in awhile. I can’t even think about what will happen in the next book. I am growing so excited knowing that I will soon find out. If you love books by Cynthia Sax then you really need to read this series. Even if you haven’t when you read this you will want all you can get.

Having just watched each other so far Anna and Blaine each feel a growing passion for each other. Anna has gave Blaine permission to touch her now and that only makes it that much harder on each other. While she wants him to take her virginity she is still a little nervous. Blaine never pushes her to do anything more it is all on her terms. He doesn't want to do anything to hurt her and when she wants more from him he is afraid to take that step. They will both have to think of were they stand with each other and what they really want.

Anna is slowly overcoming her fears of not being good enough. She is becoming more open not just with Blaine but slowly making friends at work. She isn't afraid to work hard as you will see in this book and never just wants to get stuff for free. Blaine is a little more open in this book. You get to see just how much Anna effects him and what he will do to help her. You see even if he is rich he still has many walls he hides behind.

In this tantalizing second addition to the series you get to see Anna and Blaine make the next step in their sexual relationship. They both are growing closer together but there is still a few things between them keeping them from being completely together. Even with the touching and sexual release they both get not having sex still leaves them frustrated. From Anna's fantasies to the reality of the touching they share the two still manage to turn the heat up and keep the pages burning. It is a great story that leaves you hanging on the edge wondering when or are they ever going to be completely together.

I'm ready for the next book to see how this series ends. To me, this one had too much of Anna, and not enough Blaine. And there were some parts I just didn't get. She's apparently extremely poor and has utilities to pay which will leave her no money for food or bus transportation to get to work. She needs a second job, so Blaine arranges her an interview with his secretary to be her assistant. However Anna gets caught in the rain and decides she can't go to the interview. I mean WTH. She has no money for food! But the kicker is, she wanted to cancel because her blouse is see through and someone will see her. Okay!!! I guess I could see her being embarrassed and shy, but then she is calling Blaine from downstairs ..... in the friggin rain where she's whirling around and dancing getting more wet. But wait.... now she's fantasizing about men watching her while they get off because they can see her wet shirt. I mean, she'll dance wet in a public park where she wants men gawking at her, but was afraid to see Blaine's Secretary. Thank goodness Blaine brings her a towel and tells her not worry. He then gives her his jacket so she can go meet his secretary. At least Blaine knows what's important.

I like Blaine's character a lot. He obviously had a difficult past and he's crazy about Anna. I still don't get why she continues to flirt with Michael when she likes Blaine. This girl cannot be as stupid as she sometimes acts. But overall the book was good, and I've come this far so I'm going to read the conclusion.

In the second installment of The Seen Trilogy Anna is still seeing Gabrielle but he has not yet touched her until now. She craves more then that but he knows she is not ready for him completely yet.

The Seen Trilogy has quickly become my reading crack. I am as hooked on this series and like Anna I cannot seem to get enough. She is still house sitting. She is still struggling to make ends meet while house-sitting and she is still working a crappy minimum wage job as a telemarketer. But she is also getting more involved with Gabriel Blaine.

I think a lot of women can identify with Anna for the simple fact that she has to decide between lunch some days and getting to work. Then to get the attention of someone like Gabriel Blaine would make most women want to physically pinch themselves.

I also like the secondary characters two of which are calling to have their own story Michael and Camille aka Goth. Between the sparks between them and the erotic scenes with Gabriel and Anna and I thought my laptop was going to catch on fire.

Panty wearing while reading this may become an optional item. And your showers may be on the freezing side. Just thinking about this is making me squirm.

After reading HE TOUCHES ME, I know you are going to run back to Amazon to purchase HE CLAIMS ME.

**He Touches Me is the second Novella in The Seen Trilogy! I suggest buying all three at once and reading them one after the other. This book contains voyeurism and explicit scenes**

After Anna discovers what Blaine desires from her, she slowly want more from him. Finding a comfort with pleasuring herself for him as he watches, she can't help but want him to touch her and the pull to Blaine is just too strong.

She is not sure where they stand or what may happen but she does have other issues that seem to be in the way. I definitely feel Anna's struggle as she is on the cusp of loosing her job and the money she makes covers just the utilities of the home she is house sitting. Making it hard to hang out with others and even feed herself. Which is ironic cause she works for a company that raises money to feed the hungry.

Blaine is unhinging and is slowly losing his control around Anna. Their relationship is taking a turn and the story is starting to take a turn.

Book two leaves you with some angst and wondering if things are going to work out? Can Blaine and Anna's relationship make it to the next level? Please to save your self from a book hangover get book three when you get book two!

In this second part of the series I was liking how the relationship between Blaine and Anna was coming along and how they're taking it slow. But knowing Anna to this point I was annoyed that she was so horny for Blaine. Is that a bad thing for me to think of her that way?

I mean she is always thinking about getting laid by Blaine but then at the same time she's not ready! Girl, you're either ready or not~ I know he's hot and all but I just couldn't deal with her needy feelings.

Feeling the sexual tension is fine but needing it and oozing it out to him every time you see him!? When he's at work, outside, in the car, elevator, ect.... The time is not right for him okay! Keep it together girl~ it is just irritating. At least have some decency and act professional. I just have problems with her character.

I just got frustrated with the Anna so much at this point and well, I can say that I didn't like her in this second part.

“He Touches Me” by Cynthia Sax is the second searingly sensual novella in the ‘Seen’ trilogy. The complex relationship between the sexually daring virgin and her extremely rich temporary neighbor continues to evolve as he continues to explore both her emotional and physical limits. Conflicted between trying to do what’s best for her and what he desires, Gabriel Blaine must deal with Anna’s own determination to follow her own path. Anna’s relationships at work also evolve and cause a shift in the dynamics there as well and her life continues to be full of surprises and changes.

This very erotic sequel to the spicy novella, “He Watches Me” follows the journey of a young woman who is an interesting dichotomy of siren and innocent. The exploration of her sexual limits provides a very carnal tale which also begins to give better depth to the various characters as more of their backgrounds are revealed. Anna continues to grow into her role as employee and lover even as more mysteries unfold. An intriguing addition to the series.

In He Touches Me, there is an extreme amount of sexual tension, but Anna finally lets Gabriel touch her! Let’s be honest, I was so ready for them to start touching in the first chapter of the first book! As the two touch, they learn more about each other. As the reader, you learn that Gabriel is a successful billionaire. He wants to take care of Anna, but since she has only learned to take care of herself, she wants to earn her way. When Anna learns she can't pay for the utilities with her job, she decides to find another job. Gabriel hears about her predicament and hires her to be an assistant. Now that Gabriel and Anna are finally touching, I'm just waiting for them to finally have sex!

I am relatively new to erotica, but even a novice like myself will be drawn into the relationship between Blaine and Anna.He touches me picks up where He Watches Me left off, and in book two, everything gets a little hotter. Sax writes like a poet, her descriptions lyrical and so vivid you feel like you're there with Anna. You will wait with baited breath until the very last page until...well, I don't want to spoil anything, but the last scene is definately a scorcher! Got to go, book three awaits! :-)I'll be combining my reviews of He Touches Me and He Claims Me on my website including some spoilers and a more fleshed out review, but for now, let me leave you with this...well written, likable yet damaged characters, and plenty of heat...need I say more?

The second book in The Seen Trilogy by Cynthia Sax. I felt the books are too connected to start here but Ms. Sax does do a good job giving some quick reminders of the first book if needed. Anna finally convinces her neighbor, Gabriel Blaine, to touch her. She’s been pleasuring herself in front of him but if now finally given the opportunity to see and touch him, she can’t wait. She may be a virgin and a little reluctant to take that final step but she can’t wait to get her hands on him. But her life outside of what she shares with Gabriel takes a turn when she needs to start a second job to pay the bills. Can she continue what she has with him when life keeps trying to keep them apart? Fun read!

I'm doing a review of the whole trilogy (without spoilers) - since they were so short and I read through them in about an hour and a half, it just seemed to make sense.

This trilogy was a little odd to me. Like it was just too weird for most of 3 books. They were very fast paced reads, which was awesome. Cynthia Sax does a really great job with the secondary characters - they very much come alive as the trilogy progresses (mainly Camille). There were a few loose threads that were not explained at the end of book 3 that I was a little confused by.

This is definitely a unique trilogy to read - Fans who love a good romance with lots of tension will be all over this one.

I liked this better than the first book. I'm glad I continued with the story.

I'm being a jerk by pointing this out, but it made me laugh so I have to add this.

It's a typo, minor editing error I found near the middle of the book.

White fluffy toilets are folded on the edge of a cracked pedestal sink.

We continue Anna and Blaine's journey together. The voyeurism moves forward to touching which is a huge obstacle for both Anna and Blaine due to scars from their pasts. You take this journey with them as they face their past hurts and are able to find a kindred spirit in each other. Neither makes these choices lightly. Even for a short story, I felt Cynthia Sax did a great job of giving us insight into each characters personal struggles as they find something in the other that they are afraid they will lose if they can't overcome their demons. The sexual encounters are off the charts as their connection deepens.

I enjoyed the premise of this book and the way the characters were written. Blaine's concern over Anna's lack of experience in not wanting to hurt her or force her into anything she wasn't ready for was very nice. I would warn that it is a very erotic story. Although I enjoy erotica there were times I was a little taken aback, not by the content but by the way it was verbalized. I also would have preferred that it be one book rather than 3 parts.

He Touches Me is the second book in the Seen Trilogy by Cynthia Sax. The novella continues from where the first book He Watches Me ended. I liked how the books flow together perfectly. This installment showcases the progression of Gabriel's and Anna's relationship. I also like the side story of Anna's friendships with Camille and Michael. This is a great erotic read!

He Touches Me (Seen Trilogy #2) - Cynthia Sax kept me wrapped around her finger as she pulled me further into Anna and Blaine's story. It's not hard to believe a virgin, who has trust issues, to have lustful fantasies about a man who touches every sexual nerve ending in her body before laying a hand on her.

Well written. A great read for a hot and steamy night.
