Genius JH Glaze has done it again!!!

Thank you, thank you author JH Glaze for keeping the epic adventures of John Hazard off the charts like no other with Send No Angel.
Send No Angel far surpasses both “The Spirit Box” and “NorthWest” in my opinion, to be truthful I didn’t think that it was possible in the least that it could be done. To be blown away again, but I was… by the sheer genuisness (is that a word )of the master storytelling that JH Glaze continues to lay out for us each and every time that a new release comes out. Man, oh man how does he do it?

To be able to that time after time, book after book is a testiment to the high caliber of an author that he is!! Never settling on anything short of but perfection in his novels before he is happy enough to say “Ok, it‘s time to unleash” his next one. It’s what I find EVERY time that I eagerly pick up and start a JH Glaze original… PERFECTION

“Send No Angel” will keep you reading far past your eyes burning in their eyes sockets, far into the wee hours of the morning. It’s that good it really is. If you don’t take my word for it, then I highly recommend that you stop and pick yourself up a copy and read it to find out for yourself. I can guarantee that you will love it and think the same thing that I did/do.

As an avid reader, I most definitely highly recommend this series as one of the best that I have read. Whether you’re a lover of horror, sci/fi, paranormal or thrillers I am here to tell you that this, beyond a shadow of a doubt is a MUST MUST READ SERIES.

"Send No Angel" by JH Glaze is the third in his series about John Hazard, who was a policeman in "Spirit Box", then hunted Aliens in "NorthWest" as part of a Paranormal investigation bureau, of which he is still a part of in "Send No Angel".
The story begins with two parallel narratives telling of separate gas fires being set but then the book takes us back to where "NorthWest" left us off, eight days prior to the fires. John and the survivors of his team return home after they have successfully mastered their challenges, but John's girlfriend, Emily Sparks, has been on the run from some gangsters before joining John's team and will need to face this dilemma now that they are returning back home. With some powerful help from John's rich friend, Frank, they set out to rid Emily of the constant threat to her life.
The connection to Frank however drags the Paranormal Investigators into a new adventure involving a portal that soon has Frank trapped in a different world, full of spirits and monsters, and it is John and Emily's turn to go on a rescue mission.
SO far for the plot as I can tell you without spoiling the experience.

Once again Glaze writes his story in great prose of at times almost literary quality without this interrupting the easy flow or getting in the way of the 'fun' element of the book. The characters, human and non-human, are entertaining and creatively chosen. There is some great humour in this story and a lot of action and suspense all the way through.

I personally loved the monsters in the other world best and I must admire the powers of Glaze's imagination as he describes this new dimension or sphere. As the rescue mission is in progress there are a lot of hairy moments and nail biting situations that kept me on the edge of my seat, holding my breath.
What pleased me most about this book however was that once more Glaze changed direction and made this instalment so different from the two before. There are references to the previous books but instead of following an easy and by all means probably rather successful formula Glaze never repeats himself. The great ideas of book one and two could easily have made for a series on their own but it seems that Glaze prefers to take his cast to new adventures instead. With that in mind it is possible to sit back and enjoy the fun ride - or scare ride, not having to worry about predictability and repetition.
My only complaint is that this book was published today and I will most likely have to wait for some time before I get the next book in the series in my hands.

This was a fast and interesting read.

First of all, this is book 3 in a series. I have not read the first two books, and came into this not knowing what to expect. The book started off as a standard action thriller. Men breaking into buildings to set fires. And then it backtracks 8 days to tell the story of why they are starting the fires. So far pretty standard stuff, and pretty interesting storytelling too.

Suddenly, a paranormal element is introduced into the story. I was a little surprised, based on the way the first section of the book was written. But if I had read the description, I would have realized that this was a paranormal book. I enjoy reading paranormal stories, so I was ok with the direction the story went.

The last half of the book is an adventure through a portal to an alternate world. Lots of strange, imaginative creatures trying to kill our heroes. I thought that the world was very intricate, and exciting to read about. The monsters were truly horrific. And the camaraderie between John Hazard and his crew seemed realistic.

I enjoyed reading this book. There were many references to book 2 of the series, which made me want to read that one too. I think this is a good series.

10*s. I received my copy as a gift from the author in return for an honest review.

WOW.....JH Glaze is truly the greatest Horror Writer of this Century and one that will not be forgotten any time soon. So much happens in this book that it kept me turning from one page to another. It's amazingly well written with many new and super amazing characters that I had the opportunity to meet and fall in love with. I am always amazed at the writing style of this author but the twists and turns of this story just made me say "WOW" nor did I ever seen any of it coming. The writing technique that the author wrote for this book in phenomenally exciting and a refreshingly horrific and an absolute MUST read that will tempt the taste buds of adults who love a twisted plot and a shocking turn of events. Thank you, JH Glaze, for the opportunity to read another memorable page turner.

John Hazard is on a new mission, he needs to save Emily, his new love and to achieve this he needs help from his army buddies! Frank, Joe and the others sign up immediately.
Close to a new beginning Emily gets the two of them a job! They need to clear a haunted house filled with flesh eating cats.
But the best laid plans...
Frank is in trouble and the gang together with Emily gets drawn into a world not our own.
Here monsters rule and the dead rise.....

I loved the ease associated with any book written by this author!
The plot is fast paced and intricate, the world building is such that it will send shivers down the readers spine!
The monsters are monsterous! And the read is a fun filled thrill ride!
A must read for all horror fans.

I feel like I've been run over by a locomotive! The pace of this story builds very quickly and doesn't let up, making it very difficult to put down. I hadn't read the description before reading the book, so I didn't know what I was getting myself in to (other than another great book by a talented writer). After starting where Northwest left off, and seeing Emily's threat taken care of, I was looking forward to finding out what happened with the ghostly "demon cats". Instead, I was caught completely off guard by the portal into another world. The terrors on the other side of the portal were truly unique and imaginative, as I've come to expect from this author. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that loves horror! Great job!

I would advice you to start at least with the second book in the series (NorthWest (John Hazard - Book II)) as this story continues where that one stopped, but it is very well possible to read it as a seperate book too.
Once you get drawn into the action of the book, you won't be disappointed you got it on your reading device (should be coming out sometime soon as printed version too), as it's a real pageturner and will keep you asking for more. Then you will be very sorry the next part is not out yet, so nothing else to do than hope J. H. Glaze will have enough time to start on the next chapter of the John Hazard stories. Will be one of the first to read it when it comes out!

Yesterday, I brought you into the world of John Hazard, deftly crafted by author, J.H. Glaze. The man has an interesting life to say the least, a very intriguing life, to say the most. In Send No Angel, we get an in depth peek into the past of the leading man in the series, and it is beyond compelling. Glaze has done it again, crafted a highly creative, intensely imaginative tale of action, adventure, and awe.
In Northwest, we were introduced to the new character, Emily Sparks... she managed to sending sparks flying everywhere she went, and especially in John's eyes. When we first meet Emily we discover that she has a very big secret that she is attempting to avoid, thus why she joins the class on their fateful journey into the forest, which forever changes her and John, as both individuals and a couple. John Hazard is a man of ethics and a code of conduct that has a history, rooted in the cast of characters we are fully introduced to in Send No Angel. Once a Marine, always a Marine! Semper Fi!
Send No Angel, is an homage to the true level of comaraderie that develops when a group goes into battle together. As the daughter of a Marine veteran, I know how strong his bond is to the Corps. and I also know that a bond develops that can and often does last a lifetime. Glaze captures this perfectly in the spectacular narrative within the story and the action scenes which clearly display the way the men from Hazard's former team comes together to help solve Emily's problems and face the one that has come back to haunt them. Darn that past behavior, it always has a way of sneaking back up to bite you in the ass, sometimes literally!
A brilliant display of literary talent, Send No Angel, pushes the series to the brink of excellence that it reached with The Spirit Box, and lends a great foundation to the continuation of the story, coming soon in Ghost Wars.
From The Spirit Box to Send No Angel, the reader is taken on a journey of evolution with the character John Hazard, that only gets more intense as the pages pass by. I for one, highly recommend you take the journey... catch up now, before Ghost Wars is knocking at the door!
